Freasier
Iris Ruth Freasier, 70, of George West, died Monday, April 5, 2004, in George West.
Visitation is scheduled for this evening (Wednesday) from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Galloway and Sons chapel in George West. The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Cadiz Baptist Church in the Cadiz Community, with the Revs. J.W. Stevens and R.C. Jeanes officiating. Burial will follow in the George West Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Everett Hubbard, Wray Wilkinson, Kenneth Wilkinson, Larry Lee, Roy Wilson and Lee Roy Wilson. Honorary pallbearer will be Waymon Burrell.
Mrs. Freasier was born March 14, 1934, to James Riley and Lela Louise (Long) Cooper in San Antonio. She married Kenneth Freasier in Beeville on Jan. 20, 1973. She was employed with the George West Independent School District as a cafeteria worker and was a member of the Baptist church.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Freasier of George West; three sons, James Wray Wilkinson of Texas, Dan Everett Wilkinson of Denton and Tommy Joe Wilkinson of California; one daughter, Candy Jo Burrell of Round Rock; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews; a sister, Margaret (Roy) Wilson of Corpus Christi; and a brother, Richard Marion Preston of Lakeland, Fla.

Schroeder
Dr. Orville Charles Schroeder, 76, died Friday, April 2, 2004.
Visitation was held Monday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Galloway and Sons chapel. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, with Pastor Don Taylor officiating. Special music was provided by organist Mary Ellen Thoms and singer Dr. Gary Williams. Songs included “How Great Thou Art,” “I’ll Fly Away,” “Morning Has Broken,” “Take My Hand Precious Lord,” and “The Lord’s Prayer.” Burial followed in Beeville Memorial Park.
Pallbearers were Ron Davis, W.L. Davis, Mark Parsons, Dick Beasley, Ken Harvey, Justin Coldeway and Clyde Evons. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. John Hester, Dr. Tom Stark, Dr. Phillip Finke, Dr. Sam Hogue, Don Vickery, Amos Welder, Tom Beasley, Wilbur Taylor, Kinkler Handly, Sid Malone, Julius Helm, Eddie Wicker, Wayne Massengale, Joe Brown, Lee Chesnutt, Clay Conoly, Jack Hart family, Randy Masters, Rick Duassat, John Elder family, Dr. James Ashley family, Dewayne Bowman Sr., Dr. B.D. Dr. Schroeder was born in Brenham on Aug. 10, 1927, to William and Alice (Kramer) Schroeder. He served in the U.S. Navy. He married Mattie Davis in Waco in 1948. He graduated with a bachelor of science from Baylor University and an optometric doctorate from the University of Houston.
He moved to Beeville in 1955 and went to work for Dr. Hester, forming a partnership that lasted 38 years. Dr. Schroeder was a 50 year member of the Texas and National Optometric Association. He served on the Texas State Optometric Association’s legislative committee and the advisory committee of the Texas Department of Human Resources, representing optometry. He was active in the Southcentral Texas Optometric Association. He served two terms as president of the Beeville Country Club. He was past president of the Rotary Club and served as chairman of the Bee County Democratic Party. He also served as chairman of the United Way and participated in several other local organizations.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Schroeder, and his son, Doug Schroeder.
Survivors include his wife, Mattie Schroeder; his mother, Alice Schroeder; his daughter, Debbie Coldeway and husband Ron, all of Beeville; two grandchildren, Justin Coldeway and wife Shannon of San Antonio and Kristen Evons and husband Clyde of Katy; four great-grandchildren, Hudson, Peyton, Mason and Davis; his brothers-in-law, Bill Davis and wife Katherine of Houston and Robert Davis of Oregon; an aunt, Ida May Wubbenhorst and husband Lloyd of Brenham; two nephews, Ronnie Davis of Arizona and W.L. Davis of Houston; and numerous friends.

Rudeloff
Walter Freienmuth Rudeloff of San Antonio, 82, died March 22, 2004, after a long illness. He was born in Seguin on Sept. 21, 1921, to Sylvia Freienmuth and Otto D. Rudeloff.
He grew up in Beeville, graduated from A.C. Jones High School in 1938 and served as an officer in the United States Navy during World War II. He practiced law in San Antonio where he was appointed a member of the city council and was city attorney for Selma.
He is survived by his wife, Jocelyn; two sons, Walter F. Rudeloff Jr. and wife Susan of London, England, and Robert E. Rudeloff and wife Cindy of Dallas; one grandson, Stefan Fritz Rudeloff, and one granddaughter, Erica Rudeloff, both of Dallas; one brother, Richard E. Rudeloff and wife Martha West Rudeloff of Beeville; and one sister, Sylvia McCord of Beeville.
Graveside services were held March 26 at the Schumannsville Cemetery in Guadalupe County and memorial services are planned for 4 p.m. May 16 at the First Unitarian Universalist Church, 7150 W. IH 10, San Antonio.
Cuevas
Dominga Garza Cuevas, 74, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2005.
Visitation was held Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home with a rosary on Sunday at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass was celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Father Balaswamy Pasala officiating. Burial followed in Beeville Memorial Park.
Pallbearers were Francisco Cuevas Jr., Leandro Longoria III, Hector Longoria, Christopher Galarza, Raymond Welder III and Clark Welder.
Mrs. Cuevas was born in Bee County on May 26, 1930, to Francisco and Manuela (Benavides) Garza. She married Manuel Cuevas on Nov. 25, 1945, in Bee County. She was a homemaker and a seamstress. She belonged to St. James, where she was a member of Las Guadalupanas and Cursillistas.
Her husband preceded her in death on Dec. 16, 1988. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Sophia Walters.
Survivors include her son, Francisco Cuevas and wife Esther of Beeville; two daughters, Maria Adelaida Longoria and husband Leandro of Beeville and Ofelia Galarza and husband Juan of Victoria; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Miquela Saldivar, Victoria Cabazos, Anita Espericueta and Gloria Maldonado, all of Beeville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Murillo
Enrique U. Murillo, 85, of Edinburg died Wednesday, March 2, 2005.
He was born on May 9, 1919, to Martin T. and Anita Murillo in San Antonio. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cristina P. Murillo, in 2002.
Survivors include his sons, Enrique Homer Murillo, Hector Murillo and Luis Carlos Murillo; his daughters, Elisabeth P. Murillo, Irma N. Cavazos and Alicia Cavera; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his brothers, Jorge and Martin Murillo.
Funeral services were held Friday at 10 a.m. at Rivera Funeral Home chapel in McAllen. Interment followed at Valley Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements were handled through Rivera Funeral Home, McAllen.
Mrs. Hernandez
Margarita G. Hernandez, 63, of Beeville died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006.
Visitation was held Saturday at Monte Del Olivar Christian Church in Beeville and a prayer service was held Sunday at 7 p.m. at the church. Funeral service was held Monday at 10 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Jesse DeLaGarza officiating and assisted by the Rev. Esther Martinez. Burial followed at Beeville Memorial Park.
Pallbearers were Abram Moreno, Benito Perez, Sam Montemayor, J.T. Amador, Mel Montemayor III and Diane Downs. Honorary pallbearers were Ram Garza, Ram Garza Jr., J.R. Martinez and Jerry Martinez.
Mrs. Hernandez was born to Ramon and Anita (Chavarria) Garcia in Sinton on Dec. 1, 1942. She married Abelardo Hernandez in Beeville on Nov. 17, 1963. She was a homemaker and a member of the Monte Del Olivar Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Abelardo Hernandez Jr.; a daughter, Julia Anita Martinez; and a brother, Benito Casarez.
Survivors include her husband, Abelardo Hernandez Sr.; a son, George (Mary Lou) Hernandez of Beeville; a daughter, Viola Garcia of Beeville; grandchildren, Desiree, Delilah and Cody Justin Hernandez, Brittany Sierra Garcia, Julissa Renae Martinez and Kaylee Rae Hernandez; a sister, Maria (Alex) Downs of Corpus Christi; two brothers, Ramon (Barbara) Garcia of Royse City and Guadalupe Garcia of San Antonio; a sister-in-law, Maria Casarez of Mathis; and a daughter-in-law, Del Hernandez of Beeville.

Tyson Demond-Ray Lockett, 10 months, died on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006.
Survivors include his parents, Raymond Lockett Jr. and Wendy Nicole Bess, both of Houston; one brother, Tyray Darjean Lockett; maternal grandparents, Charleston Bess and Cynthia Bess and Mary T. Lewis; paternal grandparents, Linda Williams and Kelvin Davis; and godparents, Lila Emig and Johnthan Robinson.
A chapel service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Treviño Funeral Home with Elder Larry Murphy officiating. Burial followed at St. Rose Cemetery.

Elizabeth Georgia Holubec McFall, 77, of Mathis died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006. Mrs. McFall was born in Beeville on Aug. 28, 1928.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene F. McFall, and a son, Bruce E. McFall.
Survivors include her daughters, Connie McFall Clark of Houston, Loretta J. (Rex) Hackett of Johnson City and Joyce E. (Scott) Woodward of Frisco; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Joey E. (Jennifer) McFall and daughter Lila of Corpus Christi, Jay M. (Esther) McFall and children Sarah and Matthew of Skidmore, Mandi T. (Dan) Gerlach of Corpus Christi, Cody W. McFall and son Avry of Aurora, Colo., Kyle (Michelle) Lawrence and son Preston of Fort Richardson, Ark., Justin McFall and daughter Kellie of Beeville and Breanne Lawrence of Johnson City; sisters, Josephine Smith of Baytown, Willie Mae Wheeler of Pasadena; and brothers, Clarence and Jerry Holubec, both of Bay City; and half-brothers, Jerald, Larry and Garry Holubec, all of Skidmore.
A rosary was recited on Sunday at Dobie Funeral Home in Mathis. The funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Catholic Church in Mathis with interment in Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore.

Mr. Noblett
William Brady Noblett Jr., 58, of Mathis died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2006, at 8:32 a.m. at his home in Mathis.
He was born in Corpus Christi on March 18, 1947. He married Barbara Jo Pressley on Jan. 31, 1969, in Corpus Christi. He was assistant manager of O’Reilly Auto Parts in Mathis. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in Vietnam.
Mr. Noblett was preceded in death by his mother and father, Mildred Beatrice Richardson and William Brady Noblett Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Jo Pressley Noblett of Mathis; sons, William Brady Noblett III of Ephraim, Utah, Jason Cuyler Noblett and Jimmy Lee Noblett, both of Cuero, and Benjamin Joseph Noblett of Mathis; sisters, Betty Alice Rogers of Robstown, Carolyn Lee Ladue of Anchorage, Alaska, and Susan Kay McCollom of Houston; mother-in-law, Margaret Pressley of Mathis; five grandchildren, Shaylynn Margaret, Amanda Irene, Joshua Cuyler, Matthew Jay and Daniel Ebon Noblett; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at 5 p.m. Thursday at Treviño Funeral Home in Beeville. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel with Jamey Wyble and President Richard Ramirez officiating. Burial will follow in George West Cemetery with full military honors.
