Lorenzo M. Baeza, 84, of Andrews passed away Friday August 21, 2009 at Midland Memorial Hospital.
A Rosary will be at 7:00 PM Sunday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Andrews. Father Joey Faylona will officiate. Burial will be in the Andrews North Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
Mr. Baeza was born August 8, 1925 in Mulato, Mexico. He married Josefina Hernandez September 3, 1961 in Mulato. They moved to Andrews in 1974.
He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and enjoyed volunteering at the church.
He loved music, animals, and spending time and taking vacations with his family and he really loved Ice Cream.
He is survived by: his wife; Josefina Baeza of Andrews, six sons; Oscar Baeza and wife Teresa, of Ojinaga, Mexico, Jauden Baeza and wife Nora of Hobbs, Alfredo Vasquez and Vanessa Kane of Andrews, Larry Baeza and wife Mary Jane of Andrews, Eloy Baeza and Jayne Ponce of San Marcos, Sigi Baeza and Jesenia Montoya of Kermit, one daughter; Virginia Baeza of Hobbs, 22 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Bobbye Franks, 80, of Andrews passed away Thursday August 20, 2009 at Permian Residential Care Center in Andrews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Leonard Cotton will officiate. Burial will be in Andrews North Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
Bobbye was borne July 29, 1929 in Scurry County, Texas. She married Bill Franks September 9, 1949 in Midland. They moved to Andrews in 1955. She was a ranchers wife and helped to work cattle, cook for the cowboys and everything else that came with ranch life.
She also owned and operated the Andrews Roller Rink since 1976, and loved all the kids that came to the skating rink. She also worked at the Blossom Shop flower shop for several years. She loved animals and really loved her Pugs. She also enjoyed camping and trips to Ruidoso, NM.
She was preceded in death by her parents; R.B. and Ellie Brown, brother; Cleon Brown and a grandson, Doug Franks.
She is survived by her husband; Bill Franks of Andrews, sons; Bill Franks, Jr. and wife Patti of Kermit and Michael Franks and wife Mary of Lubbock, one sister; Beverly Lewis of Midland, five grandchildren; Dawn Poyner, Dodie Miller, Amy Peck, Andy Fires and Michael Franks, nine great-grandchildren; Gabie, Taylor, Cooper, Maddie, Chase, Bayleigh, Riley, Dawson, and Luke.

Services for Billie Miller 88 of Andrews, will be a graveside service 10:00 AM Monday, August 17, 2009 in the Andrews West Cemetery. Rev. Rick Doyle and Rev. Bill Melton will officiate. Services are under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
Billie passed away at Permian Residential Care Center in Andrews Saturday, August 15, 2009. She was born on April 23, 1921 in Dublin, Texas. She married Hursel G. Miller on May 4, 1940 in Glen Rose, Texas. Billie was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Hursel preceded her in death on April 24, 1985.
Survivors include, daughter; Frankie Garrett Bishop and husband Bill, Andrews, sister; Mary Gilbert, Monahans, Texas two grandchildren; Chris Garrett and wife Julie, De De Bowers and husband John and three great grandchildren.

Claudia Ann Matthews 51 of Midland, Texas passed away in an auto accident Tuesday August 11, 2009 in Andrews. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 2:30 PM at Nalley - Pickle & Welch Chapel in Midland, Texas.
Claudia was born on November 21, 1957 Omaha, Nebraska. She married Brian Matthews on November 18, 1994 in Ft. Morgan, Colorado. Claudia was a home maker and an art student.
Survivors include, husband; Brian Matthews, Midland, daughters; Alicia Coggins, Lincoln, Nebraska, Brandy Fuller, Midland, Texas, son; Aaron Anderson, North Dakota, parents; George and Daphne Haynes, Andrews, Texas and seven grandchildren.

Leslie passed away in Andrews on Saturday, August 8, 2009. He was born in Andrews on June 1, 1955. Leslie was a derrick hand.

Services for Luster Jay "Ted" Turner 88 of Andrews, will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Jeff Donnell officiating. Burial will follow in the Andrews West Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
Ted passed away in Ft. Worth, Texas Saturday August 8, 2009.
He was born on August 17, 1920 in Hillsboro, Texas. He married Essie Lee Attaway on April 10, 1948.
Ted owned R & T Greasing Co. in Andrews before retirement, he was a veteran and a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include, wife; Essie Turner, Andrews, sons; L.J. Turner,Jr. and wife Kathy, Weatherford, OK, Tommy Turner and wife Linda, Sherman, TX, Stephen Erwin and wife Linda, Wichita Falls, TX, daughters; Nancy Lawson and husband Rollie, Farmers Branch, TX, Linda Howard and husband Bob, Sherman, TX eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Services for Dr. Z.W. Hutcheson, Jr. 91 of Amarillo, formerly of Andrews, will be 3:00 PM Monday at the Frist Baptist Church in Amarillo. Graveside service will be 10:00 AM Tuesday August 11, 2009, in the Andrews Old Cemetery.
Dr. Hutcheson passed away in Amarillo Saturday, August 8, 2009, he was born on October 7, 1917 in Bolivar, Missouri. He married Rosa Ellen Oakley in Andrews on October 26, 1949. Dr. Htcsheson was a physician in Andrews from 1946 untill retirement in 1986. He was a Baptist and a veteran of the Army.
Survivors include, wife Rosa, Amarillo, daughters; Deorah Cone, Amarillo, Candance Harter, Durango, Colorado, Michael Powell, Dallas, son; Zenas W. Hutcheson, III, MInneapolis, Minnesota, fifteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Louise passed away in Andrews Wednesday, August 5, 2009. She was born on September 17, 1927 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. She married D.A. Thomas on April 24, 1949 in Andrews. Louise was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church. D.A. preceded her in death on March 23, 1985.
Survivors include, sons; Lon Thomas, Andrews, James Thomas, Houston, daughters; Cathy Ard, Andrews and Beverly Martin, Midland, brothers; Carl Harrison and Charles Harrison both of Tulsa, Oklahoma, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Services for Elida Pineda 56 of Andrews, will be 10:00 AM Monday, August 3, 2009 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father Joey Faylona officiating. Burial will follow at the Andrews North Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held Saturday evening at McNett Chapel at 7:00 PM.
Elida passed away in Andrews Thursday evening. She was born on November 23, 1952 in Mexico. She married Abundio Pineda in 1971 in Midland, Texas. Mr. Pineda preceded her in death on May 11, 1998. She was a nurses aid and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
Survivors include, daughter; Alma Renteria, Andrews, sons; Abundio Pineda, Jr. and Javier Pineda all of Andrews, brother; Emilo Bustamante, Midland, sisters; Eladia Hernandez, Andrews, Socorro Rios, Big Spring, Ellvira Sebian and Enedina Arroyo both of MIdland, and six grandchildren.

Alma passed away Friday July 24, 2009 in Andrews. She was born on August 13, 1943 in Tribbey, Oklahoma. She married Bobby Pinson, Sr. July 5, 1961 in Tulia, Texas. Alma was a nurses aid and had worked at Permian General Hospital and Andrews Nursing Home.

Dale was born May 17, 1941 in Pioneer, Texas to Drexel Clar & Vernie Placke Underwood. Dale left his pain behind at Odessa Medical Center on July 22, 2009 at the age of 68 after an extended illness.
Dale attended school in Andrews, Texas and attended college at New Mexico military Academy in Roswell, New Mexico.
He spent most of his life working in the oilfield services with Continental Emsco and Harbison-Fischer. He never met a stranger and was well known and loved by "everyone".
Dale is survived by his wife Judy, with a blended family through thick and thin she is truly the love of his life. They were blessed with 35 years of marriage.
He is also survived by his mother, sister Linda Morgan, uncle William (Bill) Placke, one daughter Nicole and husband Derec Boring, six sons; Jon and wife Erin Underwood, Paul and wife Sandy Underwood, Steve and wife Cynthia Hadorn, Guy and wife Nan Hadorn, Michael Hadorn, Kevin Holiday and his fiance Cheryl Smith; 17 grandchildren; Cathy and husband Troy Thoria, Ryan Hadorn, Stacey and husband Stoney Barton, Brady and wife Erica Hamilton, Clay and wife Christy Hadorn, Guy Hadorn, III, Marcus Hadorn, Lisa Hadorn, Garrett Underwood, Ashley Weaver, Tiffany Takeda, Haylie and Hartley Underwood, Derrick Shifflett, Tori and Jacob Boring and a grandson whom Judy and Dale wee raising, Royce Holliday, 10 great grandchildren; Trevor and Ethan Thoria, Stormy and Sailor Barton, Abby Hamilton, Kai, Clayton and Case Hadorn, Jason and Grace Hadorn, Madeline and Noah Hadorn and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
Dale was preceded in death by his father and 2 brothers, Clar and Ricky Underwood.
Special thanks to Kendra Collum Underwood who will ALWAYS be a part of our family, for the assistance and care given to both Dale and Judy in their times of need.
Graveside services will be held at Andrews West Cemetery in Andrews, Texas at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 25, 2009. Brother Robert Frazier of Valley View Baptist Church in Midland will officiate. Services are under the direction of McNett Funeral Home in Andrews.
