Woodrow S. "Chuck" McKinney 92 of Andrews, passed away in Andrews Saturday, February 7, 2009. No services are planned.
Chuck was born on August 18, 1916 in Nashoba, OK . He married Leota Smith on August 19, 1939 in Hugo, OK. Chuck lived in Andrews since 1923, he was a retired pumper and a member of Northcrest Baptist Church.
Survivors include, wife Leota McKinney, son; J.V. McKinney, Andrews, Patsie Medley, Fr. Worth, TX and several grandchildren.

Services for Theo Verna "Teddy" Mockbee 71 of Andrews, will be 10:00 AM Monday, February 9, 2009 at Means Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Rick Doyle officiating. Burial will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
Teddy passed away in Andrews Thursday, February 5, 2009. She was born on December 9, 1936 in Kalispell, Montana. Teddy was very active with the Women's Division of the Chamber of Commerce, the local food pantry, Meals on Wheels, the Business and Trade Association, the United Way, and the Adult Literacy Board of Directors. Teddy also worked as ministry coordinator and was a youth volunteer at Means Memorial United Methodist Church.
Survivors include; daughters; Shelly and husband Gary Hodges, Dallas, Pam Kearl, Pleasant Grove, Utah, Marni Henderson, Weatherford, son; Richard and wife Melissa Mockbee, Boise, Idaho and nine grandchildren.

Memorial services for Mary E. Stracener 67 of Andrews, will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 28, 2009 in McNett Funeral Home Chapel with Sam Jones officiating. Services are under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
Mary passed away Saturday, January 24, 2009 in Odessa. She was born on September 17, 1941 in Ft. Worth, Texas. She married William E. Stracener on November 1, 1958 in Port Neches, Texas. Mary worked for many years for the Sheriff's office as a dispatcher and in the tax office.
Survivors include, husband; William E. Stracener, Andrews, sons; Bill Stracener, Palistine and Tom Stracener, Andrews, daughter; Sandra Wilson, Andrews, sister; Bobbie Conley, Ft. Worth, TX, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Timmy "Mike" Hooper, 51, of Andrews passed away Saturday, January 24, 2009 at his home in Andrews.
Mike was born September 15, 1957 in Andrews. He has worked in the oil fields most of his life and last worked for Advanced Cooling Towers in Andrews.
He loved his cats.
Mike is survived by three brothers - Ikey Hooper of Andrews; Leslie Hooper of Andrews and Terry Hooper of Andrews and one sister - Sybil Long of Riverside, California.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

Tiffany Kara Summers 20, of Lubbock, formerly of Andrews passed away in Lubbock Friday, January 24, 2009. Services will be a memorial service in Andrews 4:00 PM Thursday, January 29, 2009 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday at McNett Chapel. Funeral mass will be 10:00 AM Friday, January 30, 2009 at St. Mary' s Catholic Church in Odessa. Msgr. Francis Frey will officiate at both services. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of McNett Funeral Home of Andrews.
Tiffany was born on November 25, 1988 in Odessa, she grew up in Andrews and was a graduate of AHS in 2007. Tiffany was a sophmore attending Texas Tech University majoring in Interior Design. Survivors include parents Dr. Bill Summers and Dr. Kathy Summers of Andrews, brother; Chris Summers of Lubbock, grandmothers; Pat Summers of Odessa and Josephine Sinagra of Pittsburgh, PA, eight aunts and uncles and many cousins.

Graveside services for Debbie Ann Perkins 53 of Odessa, will be 1:00 PM Tuesday at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Amarillo. Visitation will be all day Monday, January 26, 2008 at McNett Funeral Home.
Debbie passed away Thursday, January 22, 2009 in Odessa.
She was born on September 14, 1955 in Odessa. She was a nurse.

Jose Perez, 60, of Andrews passed away Monday January 19, 2009 at Odessa Regional Medical Center.
A Rosary will be 7:00PM Thursday, at McNett Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00 Friday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Andrews. Father Bernard Gully and Father Joey Faylona will officiate. Burial will be in Andrews North Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
Jose was born March 19, 1948 in Sanderson, Texas. He moved to Andrews in 1953. Jose Married Marshia Warren, January 8, 1988 in Andrews.
Jose was a member of Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church and was a very faithful and active member.
He was a member of the Legion of Mary. He was a retired employee of Andrews County.
He loved to play Bingo and visit the Casinos and he was a very loving husband and father.
He is survived by; his wife - Marshia Perez of Andrews, four sons - Pedro "Duck" Garcia of Odessa; Steven Wolfe of Andrews; Kenneth Wolfe of Houston; and Ricky Wolfe of Odessa; Three Daughters - Carol Loredo of Andrews. Cindy Alaniz of Andrews; and Trica New of Andrews; Seven Sisters - Paula Jeminez of Andrews; Coy Vasquez of Andrews Juanita Martinez of Andrews; Bistenta Rodriquez of Andrews, and Martha Nave of Seminole; Isabelle Rodriquez of Andrews and Cookie Fiero of Andrews; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Ione Stewart, 90, of Odessa, formerly of Andrews, passed away Monday January 12, 2009 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Funeral services will be 2:00 Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at Andrews Church of Christ. Pastor Kevin Bullard will officiate. Burial will be in Andrews West Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home of Andrews.
Ione was born August 29, 1918 in Jefferson County, Oklahoma. She married Guy Stewart April 10, 1948 in Paducah, Texas. They moved to Andrews in 1955 from Levelland.
She was a very active member of the Andrews Church of Christ. She loved to travel and go on trips in their travel trailer. Some of her favorite places to visit were Branson, MO and Fort Davis.
She was preceded in death by her husband Guy in 1991; one granddaughter, Cindy Carr, three brothers and one sister.
She is survived by; one son - Wayne Stewart and his wife Vicki of Odessa; one daughter - Sherry Carr and her husband Royce of Odessa; Three grandchildren - Chris Carr, Heather Morgan, and Justin Stewart; Four Great-Grandchildren - Mackenzie Carr, Gavyn Morgan, Hayden Morgan, and India Sharp.

Tommy passed away Monday, January 5, 2009 in Midland. He was born on October 9, 1938 in Wink, Texas. He served in the Navy and was an operator for Amoco before retirement in 1994.

Frank Harrell, 69, of Andrews passed away Monday January 5, 2009, at his home in Andrews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, January 9, 2008 at Northcrest Baptist Church in Andrews. Pastor Harvey Enriquez will offiate. Burial will be in Andrews North Cemetery, under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
Frank was born October 6, 1939 in Breckenridge, Texas. He moved to Andrews in the 1960's from Kermit, Texas.
He worked in the Oil fields most of his life, as a roughneck, and driller, tool pusher and later as a consultant, both in West Texas and over seas.
He was a member of Northcrest Baptist Church, in Andrews.
He was a family man and he loved his family and he loved to help watch after the widow women in his church.
He is survived by: Three daughters - Gloria Ann Haley of Tyler, Texas; Terry Gunnels of Midland;and Imagene Harrell of Andrews; Three sons - Randy Harrell of Odessa; Troy Harrell of Andrews; and Woody Harrell of Odessa; One sister - Sarah Williams of Midland; one brother - J.W. Roberts of Andrews. 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Billie passed away Sunday, January 4, 2009 at Willow Hill Assisted Living Center in Andrews. She was born on June 16, 1928 in Hinton, Oklahoma. Her first husband E.M Goff passed away in 1980. She married Melvin Lipham in 1981, he passed away in 1991. Billie married Sam Riley in Andrews on June 27, 1992. Billie worked for Kirby - West before retirement as a die cutter.
Survivors include; husband Sam Riley, Andrews, sons; Larry Wayne Goff, Andrews, Tommy Goff, Terrell, TX, daughters; Judy Sosebee, Andrews, Earline Terry, Odessa, Betty Jenkins, Austin, Ona Mae Hester, Lindsey, Ok, eleven grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
