Services for Encarnacion "Sean" Garcia Flores, 80 of Andrews, will be 2:00 PM Sunday, February 19, 2006 in McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Toni Rodriguez. Burial will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery.
Sean died Friday, February 17, 2006 in Permian Regional Care Center in Andrews. He was born on May 24, 1925 in Imperial, Texas. He was a retired Field worker.
Survivors include; brother, Alberto Flores, Sr., Andrews, sisters; Carolina Ramirez, Andrews and Balbina Rodriguez, Galeton, CO, several nieces and nephews.
His parents, two brothers, Reynaldo and Manuel and a sister, Ofelia Jimenez preceded him in death.

Funeral services for Amber Linn Menefee, 21, of Andrews will be 4:00 PM Thursday, February 16, 2006 at the Andrews Church of Christ with Mark Wilson of Andrews, Rev. Juluis Brooks of Midland, and Rev. Bennie Anderson of Canyon officiating. Burial will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Andrews High School Class of 2003.
She passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2006 in Lubbock from an automobile accident.
She was born December 11, 1984 in Midland to Brenda Joyce Menefee and Melton Coleman Conaway, Jr. She was raised in Andrews and graduated from Andrews High School in 2003, where she earned numerous awards, achievements, and was an all around athlete. She graduated from South Plains College in Levelland with an Associate of Arts degree in general disciplinary studies in December 2005, where she was on the Dean's Honor Roll carrying a 3.42 GPA and was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa International and National Honor Society. She was currently attending Texas Tech University in Lubbock, where she was majoring in early childhood education. She worked part-time at Olive Garden Restaurant in Lubbock. She attended the Andrews Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Earl Menefee, Sr., in 2003.
She is survived by her mother: Brenda Menefee of Andrews; father: Melton Conaway, Jr. of Andrews; grandmother: Annie Mae Menefee of Andrews; grandfather: Melton Conaway, Sr. of Andrews; 6 sisters: Tiffany Menefee, Tressa Brown, and Charlotte Conaway, all of Odessa, Tameka Conaway of Vernon, Shaneka Conaway of Abilene, and Sebrena Roberson of Dallas; 5 brothers: Jason Menefee of Abilene, Michael and Victor Conaway of Denver, Colorado, Melton Conaway, III of Andrews, and Joe Willie Jones of Round Rock.

Services for Alawayne Keen, 84 of Andrews, will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 7, 2006 in Means Memorial United Methodist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Rick Doyle, Pastor, and Rev. Bryan Johnson, Chaplain with Home Hospice. Burial will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery.
The Family will recive friends from 7-8 PM Monday at McNett Funeral Home.
Alawayne died Saturday, February 4, 2006 in Andrews after a lengthy illness. Alawayne was born to John T. Atchison and Mabel Sunshine Haynie Atchison on July 30, 1921 at Stanton, Texas. She graduated for Pecos High School where she was active in the track program earning many awards. She attended Texas Tech where she met Jack Clay Keen, they were married on June 18, 1942 in Lubbock, Texas. She was active in Cub Scouts as a Den Mother, she was also a Girl Scout leader. Alawayne was a member of the Means Memorial United Methodist Church and had been a Sunday school teacher and had been active with the United Methodist Womens. She had been a member of the Eastern Star, Permian Regional Medical Center auxiliary also known as the Pink Ladies. She loved to play golf and loved her many friends and her family. Her husband Jack preceded her in death on June 24, 1997, her parents and a brother Thomas Carl Atchison also preceded her in death.
Survivors include, daughters, Loyce Roberts, Andrews, Mary Beth Baxter, Cliff, New Mexico, Sunny Lynn Brewster, Silver City, New Mexico, sons, John Clay Keen and Jack Wayne Keen both of Silver City, New Mexico, eleven grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for L.F. "Doc" Rogers, 74, of Veribest will be 2:PM Sunday, February 5, 2006 at McNett Chapel in Andrews with Rev. Bob Zap of Andrews officiating. Burial will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home in Andrews.
He passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at Robert Lee Care Center in Robert Lee, Texas.
He was born on November 4, 1931 in Sweetwater, Texas. He moved to Andrews in 1960 from Muleshoe, Texas. He married Jackie Marcell on October 18, 1983 in Loveington, New Mexico. He owned and operated A-1 Video & TV Repair in Andrews. He moved to Veribest in 1990 from Andrews. He was a Baptist.
He is survived by his wife: Jackie Rogers of Veribest; 1 son: Doug Rogers and his wife Vikki, of Laredo; 2 stepsons: Frank Rhea And Michael Rhea and his wife Sophie all of Odessa; 1 stepdaughter: Betty Rhea of Odessa; 1 sister: Louwayne McQuirk and her husband Brent of Hermleigh; 6 G randsons - Wayne Rogers and his wife Nicole, Aaron Rogers, Jacob Rogers, Todd Allison and wife Kristy, Travis Allison, Michael Rhea and wife Sarah; 4 - Great Granddaughters - Reagan Rogers, Kylie, Krista and Kamry Allison.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, Saturday from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM.

Edward Leon Henn, 82, of Andrews passed away Sunday, April 23, 2006 at his daughter's home in Andrews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with John Bell of Kermit, Gregory Young of Andrews, and Bruce Williams of Midland officiating. Burial will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery. Family will recieve friends at McNett Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 25, 2006 from 7-8 PM.
Edward was born October 10, 1923 in Orlando, Oklahoma. He served in the US Navy. He was a Drilling Superintendent for Elenburg Exploration for over 15 years and several other companies over the years. He married Billie Ruth Carnes November 14, 1966 in Roswell, NM. They moved to in and out of Andrews several times, but moved back to stay in 1983 from Montana. He was a member and former Branch President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Andrews. He loved his Church and his wife very much. Mr. Henn also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and loved to joke and tease people. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Billie in 2005 and one sister, Elora Henn.
He is survived by: 2 Sons - Mike Henn of Rapid City, South Dakota and Craig Batson of Fort Worth; 6 Daughters - Marlene Jones of Norfolk, Virginia; Jana Beth Hawkins of North Carolina; LaVada Brinton of Salt Lake City, Utah; Daisy Barton of Andrews; Patsy Ford of Merkel; and Geneva Napper of Andrews; 2 Sisters - Martha Burk of Yukon, Oklahoma and Lorraine Vitt of Bedford; 20 Grandchildren and 26 Great-Grandchildren.

Humanity is greatly diminshed by the passing of Joyce k. Hammond, 58, of Andrews. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Monday, April 24, 2006 in the Andrews West Cemetery with Rev. David King of Andrews officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, April 24, 2006 from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM at McNett Funeral Home in Andrews.
Joyce lost a valiant battle with cancer on Saturday, April 22, 2006 at Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews.
Joyce was born April 1, 1948 in Hobbs, New Mexico and attended high school in Midland. She married Jerry Don Hammond on June 23, 1981 in Andrews and they owned and operated J & J Carpet Cleaning in Andrews for 15 years. Joyce was an active member of Alcoholic's Anonymous, serving as an influential example in helping others to recover from the disease of alcoholism. She touched the lives of so many who will be forever grateful to her. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Midland. She was preceded in death by her father: Billy Kennedy in 1984; mother: Bobbie Sharp in 2005; grandson: Justin Cordova in 1993; and by many of her friends.
She is survived by her husband: Jerry Hammond of Andrews; 2 daughters: Sherri Cordova of Andrews and Lynda Ussery of Odessa; stepfather: Paul Sharp of Andrews; 1 brother: Billy Bob Kennedy of La Porte, Texas; 2 sisters: Jan Nelson and Naomi Orman of Midland; 3 stepsisters: Claudia Duncan of Dallas, Teresa Froelich of Andrews, and Yalanda Joyce Sims of Lake Elsinore, California; 3 grandchildren: Christian Ussery of Odessa, Courtney Cordova of Andrews, and Megan McElroy of Snyder. We will miss you, Joyce.

Randal L. Greer, 49, of Andrews passed away Friday, April 21, 2006 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews with Rev. Ted Short, Pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Andrews officiating. Burial will follow in the Andrews West Cemetery.
Randal was born April 3, 1957 in Mineola, Texas. He served in the US Army from 1975 until his retirement in 1993. He moved to Andrews in 1993 from Indiana. Randal enjoyed collecting movies, bowling, and going to auctions. He also had a booth at the Flea Market in Odessa and enjoyed working it. He was a member of the Texas Road Runners.
He is survived by: One Son - Randy Greer of Pampa; Two Daughters - Pamela and Jennifer Greer both of Pampa; His Mother - Dorothy Harris of Andrews; His Father - Rudolph Greer of Morton; Two Brothers - Richard Greer of Andrews; Thomas Greer of Odessa; Two Sisters - Cindy Harper and Tammy Harris: both of Andrews; and His Best Friend - Sam Anderson of Andrews.

He passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2006 at Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews.
He was born on December 2, 1931 in Vernon, Texas to Herman Stiles Cook and Clara Mae Sellers Cook. He graduated from Vernon High School in 1949 and served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He married Dorothy Mae Glenn on July 18, 1956 in Monument, New Mexico. They lived in Monument and moved to Odessa and then to Andrews in 1966. He had worked for Tidewater Oil Company in Andrews, and then owned and operated Ed's Auto Service in Andrews for over 20 years. He was a past member of the Andrews Chamber of Commerce, where he also served as an Ambassador. He was a past member of the Andrews Downtown Lions Club and Andrews Zoning Board. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Andrews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 daughter: Virginia Lee Cook; and 2 brothers.
He is survived by his wife: Dorothy Cook of Andrews; 1 son: Mike Cook of Andrews; 2 daughters: Michelle Martin of Odessa and Marcy Rhoades of Andrews; 2 brothers: Charles Cook of Vernon and Richard Cook of Pasadena; 1 sister: Norma Lockwood of Tracy, California; 7 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

She passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at her residence in Andrews.
She was born December 9, 1931 in Lonoke, Arkansas to Earnest Leola Conatser and Mamie Lois Gore Conatser. She was raised in Sevier County, Arkansas and moved to Andrews in 1948. She married Ted E. Owens on August 5, 1949 in Andrews. She was a member of the Phillips Philresters Club in Andrews and a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, but was attending Means Memorial United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Nelda June Owens in 1952; her parents; 4 sisters; and 5 brothers.
She is survived by her 1 daughter: Thresa Whitaker of Andrews; 1 son: Tim Owens of Andrews; 2 sisters: Lois Laverne Aubrey of Dickinson and Julia Estalee Kinkade of Bailey; and 4 grandchildren.

Trinidad Rodriguez, 90, of Andrews passed away late Saturday at his home in Andrews.
A Rosary will be 7:00 PM Monday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Andrews. Father Bernard Gully will officiate. Burial will be in Andrews North Cemetery.
Mr. Rodriguez was born February 15, 1916 in Guerrero, Mexico. He married Juana Garcia on Otober 3, 1968. They moved to Andrews in April 1981 from Seguin, Texas. He was a Rancher. He loved to ride horses and rope and all thing envolved in Ranching. He also loved a house full of family, and he was particularly fond of the Nurses at Permian Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by; his wife Juana Rodriguez in 1999, and a daughter, Graciela Rodriguez in 2000.
He is survived by: 8 Sons - Jaun Rodriguez of Andrews; Trinidad Rodriguez of Houston, Rafael Rodriguez of Mexico; Jesus Rodriguez of Andrews; Migel Rodriguez of Houston; Humberto Rodriguez of Seguin, Texas; Genaro Rodriguez of Andrews; and Jose Luis Rodriguez of Odessa; 5 Daughters - Martha Salas of Saguin; Juanita Iracheta of Mexcio; Amelia Galaviz of Andrews; Guadalupe Quintanilla of San Antonio; and Argentina Rodriguez of Mexcio; One Brother - Guadalupe Rodriguez of Mexico; 5 Sisters - Amada Diaz of Mexico; Maria Riojas of Dallas; Maria Guadalupe Vega of Mexico; Ofilia Almance of San Antonio; and Mary Anna Valdez of La Pride, Texas; 61 Grandchildren 95 Great-Grandchildren and 8 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Dolores Thompson, 78, of Andrews passed away Friday April 14, 2006 at Permian Residential Care Center in Andrews.
Funeral Services will be 4:00 PM Monday April 17, 2006 at Andrews Church of Christ. Mark Wilson, Pulpit Minister of Andrews Church of Christ and David McNutt of Lubbock, Texas will officiate.
The family will recieve friends from 1:00 untill 2:00 PM Monday at McNett Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be 7:00 PM Monday at O'Donnell Cemetery in O'Donnell, Texas under the direction of McNett Funeral Home of Andrews.
Dolores was born August 13, 1927 in O'Donnell. She graduated from O'Donnell High School in 1945. She moved to Andrews in 1953 to work for Carl Betenbough's phone company. In 1957 she went to work as Dispatcher for the Andrews County Sheriff's Department. She retired in 1989 after 32 years of service. Her time covered 3 decades of Andrews's life; 4 Sheriffs, Countless Deputies and hundreds of other county employees.
Dolores also loved to fish, and play 42 with her family. She loved her church, Music, her Family and the people of Andrews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents-Hamp and Gladie Thompson, Brother- Shorty Thompson, Sister- Christine Bray and Nephew Choya Thompson.
She is survived by: Two Brothers - Larry Thompson of Lubbock; and Wally Thompson of O'Donnell One Sister - Jane Blackwell of Midland; Nephews - Danny Hale, Scotty Thompson, Jon Bray and Stacey Blackwell; Nieces - Michael Ann Brewer, Kim Conley, Twyla Doty, Carlene Shaw, Karen Sue Casey, Kris King, Karla Petty and Donna Bashrum; and several Great Nieces and Nephews and one Great-Great Niece; she also is survived by many Cousins who were close to her.
