(Sandra) Watson; stepdaughters, Connie Lankford, Jean Ann Black; grandchildren, Bruce Crooker, Ricky Bob Crooker, Sherrie Edwards Crain, Bryan Edwards, Denise Edwards Duffy, Kirk Brannan, Kim (Brannan) Larson, Karla (Watson) Nugent, Kimberly (Watson) Smith, Kerrie, Janet, Sherry, Jennifer; 23 great-grandchildren; sister, Francis Ritchie; brother, John Rush; sister-in-law, Maxine Petty; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and husbands, J.H. Brannan, and K.M. Watson.

CLINT EASTWOOD GRIFFIN
Clint Eastwood Griffin, 31, of Winnsboro, Texas, died on Sunday, February 1, 2004, in a Winnsboro hospital.
He was born on February 29, 1972, in Freeport, Texas, to John Lester Griffin and Barbara Waters Griffin.
Clint was a contractor in the construction industry.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2004, at Beaty Funeral Home Inc. in Winnsboro, Texas, with Brother J.D. Wyzard officiating.
Interment will be at Simpsonville Cemetery in Upshur County, Texas.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2004, at Beaty Funeral Home.

NORMA JEAN Jones HAZELTON
Norma Jean Jones Hazelton, 65, of Lake Jackson, Texas, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2004. Norma was a lifetime area resident. She was born on September 8, 1939, to Joe J. and Lillie Mae Jones. Norma graduated in 1956 at Brazosport High School. Most recently, she was employed as a clerk for the Quik Mart in Freeport, Texas. Norma was an avid gardener and devoted grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, James Paul Hazelton, of Lake Jackson, Texas; two children: Lisa Roitsch and husband, Bill, of Conroe, Texas; Cash Carter of Dallas, Texas; three grandchildren: Carissa, Loryn and Kaleigh Roitsch; one brother, Louis H. Jones of Freeport, Texas; two sisters: Jo Marie Reid of West Columbia, Texas, and Bettie Decker and husband, Allen, of Hitchcock, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Jones.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lakewood Chapel. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2004, at the Lakewood Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers will be Frank Reid, Mike Reid, Glen Jones, David Jones, Bobby Woodruff and John Suggs.

JEFF M. "JACK" SPENCER JR.
Jack Spencer, 74, of Angleton, Texas, passed away at his residence on Sunday, March 21, 2004, surrounded by family.
He was a native of Freeport and served his country and his community as a U.S. Navy veteran, and as alderman and mayor of the village of Jones Creek in the 1970s. Following a 28-year career with Dow Chemical, Jack worked at a number of industrial service companies in the Brazosport area. He was an avid golfer and fisherman, and also enjoyed spending quiet times on his back porch in the company of “his” birds, squirrels and fish.
His father, Jeff M. Spencer Sr., and his mother, Ida B. Spencer, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Dorothy Spencer of Angleton; his sons and their wives, Jeff and Brenda, and Marc and Cindy, all of Jones Creek; grandchildren, Evan and Meghan Spencer, and Jordan Hatt; and sisters, Danielle Harding and Betty Knipping. He is also survived by members of his blended family: Gary and Susan Stevens and their children, Steve and Cindy Laney, and David and Julie Domsch.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on March 23, 2004, at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2004, at Velasco Baptist Church, 800 N. Ave. F, Freeport, Texas, followed by graveside services at Gulf Prairie Cemetery in Jones Creek.

Richard Adrian Maynor, 45, of Brazoria, Texas, died on Monday, March 22, 2004, in Brazoria, Texas.
He was born Friday, July 18, 1958, in Kountze, Texas.
Survivors include his mother, Med Lucille Clayton, of Brazoria; father, Richard Albert Maynor, of Clute; brother, Roy Edward Maynor and wife, Connie, of Brazoria; sister, Richelle Sims and husband, George, of Brazoria; great niece, Rebekah Maynor; aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins.

He died on Saturday, March 13, 2004, in Pittsburgh, California.
He is survived by his mother, Lucille Brown of Pittsburgh, California; wife Sandra Tolbert Brown of West Columbia; three daughters, La Sonia Brown of Lake Jackson, La Wanda Brown and La Kisha Brown of West Columbia; two brothers, Charles E. Brown (Lillie) of Houston, and Earnest Brown of Pittsburgh, California; three sisters, Sue Ann Brown of Monroe, Louisiana, Mertha Thompson of Pittsburgh, California, and Brenda Sue Brown of Pittsburgh, California; three grandchildren, Christopher Lee Williams, Paris Jene Brown, and Mark Anthony Edwards; mother-in-law Essie Tolbert of East Columbia; and a host of other relatives and friends.

WALLACE LOWE
Wallace Lowe, 83, of Angleton, Texas, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2004, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2004, in the Palms Funeral Chapel.
Burial will follow in Angleton Cemetery.
Mr. Lowe was born on November 9, 1920, in Regan, Texas.
He had been a resident of Angleton since 1959 and a member of Kiber Street Church of Christ. A WWII Army veteran, he was retired from Painters Union Local #130.
Mr. Lowe was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; one brother; and one grandson Christopher Wall.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Louise Lowe of Angleton; son, Bubba Lowe & wife, Kelly, of Prosper; daughter, Pamela Riley & husband, Wayne, of Alvin; brothers, Len Lowe of Bremond, Gaines Lowe of Wharton; sister, Lucille Brown of Alice; four grandsons; two great-grandsons; and two great-granddaughters.

JOYCE FOX Jackson FONTENOT
Joyce Fox Jackson Fontenot, 81, of Lake Jackson, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 23, 2004, at Brazosport Memorial Hospital.
Joyce was born February 20, 1923, in Foreman Arkansas to Eulice and Zella Fox.
She was a member of the community since 1957, and was a member of Southern Oaks Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children, Jerry Jackson & wife, Linda, of Loveland, Colorado, Edna Hancock of Varner & husband, Mark, of Brazoria, Mike Jackson of Lake Jackson, and Virginia Baughn of De Queen, Arkansas; stepsons, Steven and Rodney Fontenot of Lake Jackson, Chris Fontenot of Waco, Allen Fontenot of Knoxville, Tennessee; brother Earl Fox of Angleton; sister, Georgia Bowman of Pearland; special friend and caretaker, Irene Deckert; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands John Jackson, Walter Evans and Leroy B. Fontenot; son, John Edward Jackson; brother, Grady Fox; sister, Floyce Haggard; and granddaughter Carol Yoakum.

Ronald was born on December 6, 1950, in Rockport, Texas.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Gloria Elkins; father, Wesley John McCullough; four sisters; five brothers; and numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert C. and Molly Holt Elkins.
