Presley Marie Garcia, infant, died on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2006, in Corpus Christi.
She was born on Nov. 8, 2006, in Corpus Christi to Angelita Teresa Perez Garcia and Ricardo Para Garcia Jr.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Mercedes Salazar Perez; and her paternal grandparents, Ricardo and Rosa Garcia.
Survivors include her parents, Angelita and Ricardo Garcia Jr. of Normanna; two brothers, Bobby Aguilar of Normanna and Ricky Garcia III of California; one sister, Mercedes Rose Garcia of Normanna; maternal grandfather, Alfred E. Perez Jr. of Normanna; paternal great-grandmother, Maria Saldana of Wellington; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Angelus Funeral Home with a rosary recited there at 11 a.m. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Father Luke officiating. Interment followed at DelBosque Cemetery in Normanna.
Pallbearers were Bobby Aguilar, Ricky Garcia III, Alfred Perez III and Inez Garcia.

Mr. Pullin
David John Pullin, 52, died on Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2006, in a Victoria hospital following an extended illness.
He was born on Oct. 18, 1954. He was a retired oilfield dispatcher.
Survivors include his son, Matthew Pullin of Austin; one daughter, Brittanya Pullin of Palestine; one sister, Janis Locklin of Houston; and friends.
A graveside funeral service was held Thursday, Dec. 21, in the Three Rivers Cemetery at 1 p.m.
Arrangements were by Roberson Funeral Home, Three Rivers.
Mrs. Strickland
Audrey Estelle Hancock Strickland, 85, of Beeville died on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006.
She was born on Oct. 4, 1921, in Rising Star to Carrie Lee Taylor Hancock and Early Price Hancock. She resided in the Valley most of her life. She married Clay H. Strickland in Weslaco in 1947 and was a homemaker. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Cuero.
Mrs. Strickland was preceded in death by her husband in 1988; her parents; one grandson, Samuel Williams Gaines; two brothers, Aman “PeeWee” Hancock and Richard Cleveland “Buster” Hancock; one half-brother, Paul Wayne Hancock; one step-brother, Kenneth Scott; and her step-mother, Bessie Mildred Scott Hancock.
She is survived by two sons, Cecil Monroe Shelton and wife Mary Lou of Zapata and Billy Earl Shelton and wife Linda of Magnolia; three daughters, Martha Louise Stratton and husband Ronnie of Jewitt, Joan Evelyn Moravitz and husband Roger of Cuero, and Nancy Jane Gaines of Beeville; one sister, Earline M. Hebert of Beeville; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home with interment to follow at Beeville Memorial Park.

Banta
Arnold Ladell Banta, 80, of the Orangedale community and Beeville, died on Wednesday, July 16, 2008, in the Orangedale community.
He was born in Tynan on Oct. 4, 1927, to Ozell Olga Bradfute and Joe Mitchell Banta. He served in the U.S. Army and married Martha Louise Sanders in Beeville on May 15, 1951. He was retired from civil service, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Louise Banta of Orangedale; three sons, Michael Banta of Beeville, Roy (Sindy) Banta of Orangedale and Louis Banta of Johnson City; one daughter, Nancy (John) Reddick of Aransas Pass; one sister, Verlene Howell of Center Point; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held there at 10 a.m. Thursday with Mr. Josua Rodriguez officiating. Interment will follow at Beeville Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be members of the Masonic Lodge.

Garcia
Erineo Garcia, 77, of Karnes City, died on Tuesday, July 15, 2008.
He was born Dec. 13, 1930, to Maria Gonzales and Fabian Garcia in Pettus. He was retired from Johnson Construction Company after 45 years. He enjoyed his career in the oil field, spending time outdoors and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Francisca Garcia Diaz and Esperanza Garcia; and brothers, Fabian Garcia Jr. and Adan Garcia.
Survivors include his son, Elineo “Neno” Garcia and wife Debbie; two grandsons, Raynaldo Garcia and Eric Garcia; two great-grandsons; two sisters, Eva Morin and Santos Franco and husband Raul; two brothers, Raul Garcia and wife Refugia and Ramon Garcia and wife Alicia; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and other family members.
Visitation was held Friday beginning at 9 a.m. with a rosary to follow that evening at 7 p.m. at Treviño Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today (Saturday) at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow at Pettus Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Raynaldo Sr., Eric, Raul Jr. and Frank Garcia, Timmy Martinez and Arnold Franko.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church or the American Heart Association.
Keller
Genevieve V. Keller, 76, of Beeville, died on Thursday, July 17, 2008.
She was born in Berclair on Jan. 20, 1932, to Francisca Barrera and Guadalupe Villarreal. She married Enrique Keller in Beeville. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Enrique Keller Sr.; one son, Enrique Keller Jr.; grandson, Rey E. Villarreal; stepfather, Alcario Vasquez; two brothers, Alex Villarreal and Gilbert Villarreal; and one sister, Alicia Barrera.
She is survived by two sons, Jesus (Perla) Keller of Beeville and Gilbert (Sherry) Keller of St. Michael, Pa.; two daughters, Lillie Keller-Rincon of Corpus Christi and Sylvia (Ray) Keller Villarreal of Beeville; 17 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was to be held from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Angelus Funeral Home with a rosary recited there at 7 o’clock that evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Father Lukose Thirunelliparambil officiating. Burial will follow at Cemeterio Evangelico.

Maria Rendon Cuellar, 92, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2002. She was born March 2, 1909, in Berclair to Antonio and Dionicia (Robles) Rendon. She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Guadalupe R. Cuellar; two sons, Guadalupe Jr. and Adelmiro Cuellar; a grandson, Robert Cuelar; two sisters, Elida Vasquez, Lupita Castañeda and Herlinda Delgado; and five brothers, Librado, Ismael, Fidel, Daniel and Hilberto Rendon.
Survivors include nine grandchildren, Mary Lou Treviño, Guadalupe Cuellar, Alfredo, Delma, Alma, Fernando, Armando and Juan Cuellar and Adelmiro Cuellar Jr.
Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Treviño Funeral Home chapel. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 2:30 this afternoon (Wednesday) at St. James Catholic Church, with the Rev. Balaswamy Pasala officiating.
Burial followed in Our Lady of Victory Cemetery No. 2. Pallbearers were Anthony Guevara, Justin Cuellar, Luis Treviño Jr., Billy Cuellar, Chale Rendon and Alfredo Rendon.
Delgado
Hipolito Delgado Sr., 80, of Mathis died Monday, Jan. 21, 2002. He was born Aug. 13, 1921, in Skidmore to Martin and Macaria (Torres) Delgado. He was a retired barber and a member of the Catholic church.
Survivors include his wife, Pabla Flores Delgado of Mathis; a daughter, Lilia Delgado of Floresville; seven sons, Hipolito (Dolores) Delgado Jr. of San Antonio, Daniel Delgado of Alice, Ricardo (Eva) Delgado of Floresville, Oscar (Esperanza) Delgado and Javier Delgado, all of Mathis, Hector (Rose Lopez) Delgado of Pleasanton and Ivan (Sandra) Delgado of Beeville; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Margarita Delgado.
Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Treviño Funeral Home chapel. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 o’clock this morning (Wednesday), with the Rev. Jose Salazar officiating.
Burial followed in the Cenizo Hill Cemetery in Mathis with his daughter and seven sons serving as pallbearers.
Fudge
O.A. “Buck” Fudge, 84, of Mineral died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2002, in Corpus Christi.
The funeral was held at 2 o’clock this afternoon (Wednesday) at the Galloway & Sons chapel, with Pastor Hollis Stevens officiating.
Burial followed in the Mineral Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jamie Fudge, Bill Gazaway, Ron Herron, Jay Patrick Morgan, Donnie Herrera, Vernon Robertson, Rusty Anderson and Quentin Fudge.
Mr. Fudge was born on July 28, 1917, in Texas to May (Dorst) and Joseph Fudge. He married Velma Roberta Jennings on Dec. 7, 1940, in Beeville. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps and was a retired repairman.
He was preceded in death by his wife on April 16, 2001, and his parents.
Survivors include three sons, Joe Lee Fudge and wife Nelda of Pettus and Robert R. Fudge and wife Dianna and Reggie B. Fudge, all of Mineral; 11 grandchildren, Julie Duran, Debbie Gazaway, Melissa, Jason, Tracy, Crystal and Jamie Fudge, Twanna House, Connie Herron, Darlene Birr and Ben Laningham; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Elisa Gonzales, 83, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2002, at Christus Spohn Hospital Beeville.
The rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Angelus Funeral Home chapel. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 o’clock this morning (Wednesday) at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, with Father Patrick Donohoe officiating.
Burial followed in Beeville Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Rafael Gonzales Jr., Joey Lopez, John Beltran, Eric Gonzales, Hector Santellana Jr., Joe Angel Gonzales and Joe Gonzales Jr. Honorary pallbearers were Joe Frank Gonzales, Joe Louis Gonzales, Nathan Gonzales, Manuel Gonzales, Jody Gonzales, Pete Gaitan Jr. and Ernest Gaitan.
Mrs. Gonzales was born Aug. 7, 1918, in St. Paul to Paula (Arguijo) and Manuel Suniga. She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rafael Gonzales, on April 14, 1998; her parents; two brothers, Abelino and Guillermo Suniga; and one grandson, Randy Beltran.
Survivors include four daughters, Pauline Castillo and Patsy Beltran, both of Beeville, Rosa Gaitan of Pleasanton and Mary Lopez of Houston; four sons, Ovideo and Ernest Gonzales, both of Beeville, Rafael Gonzales Jr. of Muleshoe and Joe Gonzales of Houston; 26 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Beatrice Cortez and Eva Suniga; and two brothers, David and Benito Suniga, all of Beeville.
