Allison
William Edd Allison, 61, of Beeville (formerly of Houston) died Friday, Aug. 27, 2004.
He owned One Day Optical in Beeville.
Mr. Allison was born on Jan. 12, 1943, in McCamey to Edward B. and Modelle (Walton) Allison. He married Judy Rae White on Aug. 18, 1962.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Johnny Allison.
Survivors include his wife, Judy; four sons, Bryan (Nancy), Keith and Craig (Becky) Allison of Beeville and Bradley (Charlotte) of New Caney; a sister, Beth of Richardson; a step-brother, Kenneth Baker of Pearland; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
According to his wishes he was cremated and no services were held.

Neomia Sherry Hearn Cloud, 91, died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2004.
Visitation was held Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Galloway and Sons chapel. Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) at 10 a.m. at the same location. Burial followed in Skidmore’s Evergreen Cemetery.
Pallbearers were David Herzog, Ronnie Hearn, Donnie Hearn, Danny Foxell, Allen McElroy and Henry Herzog. Honorary pallbearers were George Herzog, Arthur Rust and Gavin Hearn.
Mrs. Cloud was born on Dec. 21, 1912, in Gonzales County, to William Allie and Maggie (Pops) Sherry. She was a Baptist and a homemaker. She had lived in Skidmore since 1992, after moving there from Falfurrias.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rosco Cloud; a son, Jack David Hearn; a daughter, Letha Mae Rust; and a great-grandson, Brian Tollette.
Survivors include her children, Ruby Herzog of Skidmore, Elroy Hearn of Georgetown, Johnny Hearn and wife Melba of Westhoff, Jim Hearn and wife Della of Flatonia, Judy Barre and husband Larry of Rockport, Jewell Spree and husband Delton of Edna and Lois Foxell and husband Ray of Yoakum; a daughter-in-law, Jo Ann Hearn of San Marcos; her brothers and sisters, Nell Wilkerson of Skidmore, Mary Lou Botard and husband Oddie of Sheridan, James Sherry and wife Doris of Grand Prairie, Gerald Sherry and wife Ruth of Georgetown and Morris Sherry of Llano; 23 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Hernandez
Severo Hernandez, 84, died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004, in a Victoria hospital.
Mr. Hernandez was born on Feb. 21, 1920, in Pettus to Faustino Hernandez and Leandra Garcia. He was a retired carpenter.
Survivors include his brothers, Mike (Martina) Hernandez of Pettus and Armando Hernandez of San Antonio; two sisters, Gabriela Hernandez (Julian) Soliz of Pearland and Hortencia Camona Rodriguez of San Antonio.
Rosary was held on Friday at 7 p.m. at Treviño Funeral Home chapel. Funeral services were held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the same location with Father Richard Gonzales officiating. Burial followed at the Pettus Cemetery.
Pallbearers were members of the family.
Tijerina
Irma Villarreal Tijerina, 65, died Monday, Aug. 30, 2004, in Spring Season Nursing Home.
She was born in Beeville on July 11, 1939, to Leopoldo Sr. and Hilaria (Cantu) Villarreal. Mrs. Tijerina was a retired field representative for Woodmen of the World. She graduated from A.C. Jones High School in 1958 and was a member of the Catholic church.
Survivors include her husband, Alfonso Tijerina of Beeville; a daughter, Terry Tijerina of Beeville; four sons, Tony (Liz) Villarreal, Albert (Maggie) Tijerina and John (Melissa) Tijerina, all of Houston, and Greg Tijerina of Beeville; three brothers, Leo (Mary) Villarreal Jr. of San Antonio, Jesse Rene (Vivian) Villarreal of Rosenberg and Johnny (Dolores) Villarreal of Stafford; and nine grandchildren.
Rosary will be recited tonight (Wednesday) at 7 p.m. at Treviño Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Father Richard Gonzales officiating. Burial will follow at Beeville Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Tony Villarreal, Albert Tijerina, Kris Villarreal, Alfonso Arredondo, Ronald Aleman and Gabriel Aleman. Honorary pallbearers will be John Tijerina, Greg Tijerina, Leo Villarreal, Jesse Rene Villarreal, Johnny Villarreal, Felix Tijerina Jr. and Martin Tijerina.

James F. (Jim) Dougherty, 67, of George West, died Friday, March 17, 2006.
Visitation was Monday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Chapel in George West. A rosary was recited Monday at 6 p.m. at St. George Catholic Church in George West. Funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. George Catholic Church in George West with Father Stephen Dougherty and Father Joseph Dougherty as celebrants. Burial followed at St. Joseph Cemetery in Beeville.
Mr. Dougherty was born Jan. 6, 1939, in Robstown to Francis Xavier and Leona (Harrod) Dougherty. He was a Catholic and a rancher.
He is survived by four daughters, Becki Dougherty of Memphis, Tenn., Mary Margaret Campbell and Kries Chapa of George West and Traci Dougherty of Tennessee; three sons, James Francis Dougherty II of Brownsville, Todd Holland Dougherty of Edna and Christopher Scott Dougherty of George West; one brother, Robert Dougherty of Beeville; 18 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his son, Franklin Cornelius (Pancho) Dougherty.

Mr. Gonzales
Edward J. Gonzales, 37, of Beeville, died Friday, March 17, 2006.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 9 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. The body will be cremated.
Mr. Gonzales was born May 1, 1968, in Sinton to Antonia Gonzales. He was a 1968 graduate of Sinton High School. On April 10, 2000, he married Lora DeLuna Gonzales in Orange Grove. He was a correctional officer at the Garza East Unit.
He is survived by his wife, Lora Gonzales of Beeville; children, Gina Gonzales, Miriah Gonzales and David Guerra, all of Beeville, Deseray Gonzales, Edward Jose Gonzales Jr. and Ezzy Gonzales of Sinton; brothers, Pedro and Elias Gonzales of Aransas Pass; uncle, Pete Gonzales and wife Janie of Sinton; sister-in-law, Cleo Clarke of Freer; and several nieces, great-nieces and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Antonia Gonzales.

Birdie Porter Green, 88, formerly of Runge, died Monday, March 20, 2006.
Birdie was born on November 12, 1917, to Walter E. and Birdie Stevens Porter in Beeville, TX. She married George Calvert Green September 23, 1940, in Corpus Christi, Tx.
Birdie is preceded in death by her parents and one brother Maynard Porter.
Birdie is survived by her husband of 66 years Cal Green of Nursery, TX, two sons, George Maynard Green (Grace) of Waco, TX, and Johnny Porter Green (Sharon) of Victoria, TX. She had four grandchildren, one grandson Porter Green (Rone) of Nursery, TX, and three granddaughters, Kristan Bettes (Dan) of Kellar, TX, Traci Meyers (Jeff) of Booneville, Miss., and Johanna Bloom (John) of Victoria, TX. Also, eight great-grandchildren Mitchell and Calvert Green of Nursery, TX, Emme, Kyley and Natalie Bettes of Kellar, TX, Marshall, George, and Jonathan Meyers of Booneville, Miss., and two adopted great-grandsons, Austin and Jamison Bloom of Victoria, TX.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday at Galloway and Sons Chapel. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Glenwood Cemetery, Bevans Welder officiating. Galloway and Sons, Beeville, 361-358-2512.

Mr. Moody
Bill Moody, 76, of Bastrop, formerly of Beeville, died Friday, March 17, 2006.
Visitation was Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Greg Traylor officiating and Mr. Chris Rice assisting. Special music included “Just a Closer Walk with Thee” and “The Old Rugged Cross.” Burial followed at Beeville Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers were Dennis Moody, Michael Moody, Tom Pfannstiel, T.J. Pfannstiel, Jason Moody and Justin Moody.
Mr. Moody was born July 3, 1929, in Nashville, Ga. He married Joyce Elaine Stewart. He retired from the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Lions Club.
Survivors include four children, Patricia Anderson of Bastrop, Michael Moody and wife Agnes of Floresville, Dennis Moody and wife Glenda of San Antonio and Lynn Moody of Lockhart; four sisters; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Mr. Moody was preceded in death by his parents, Monroe Moody and Atti Bell Johnson; his wife, Joyce, who died Jan. 20, 1998; his daughter, Judy Pfannstiel; his great-granddaughter, Alexandria Pfannstiel; one brother and one sister.

Mr. Pundt
Bryan H. Pundt, Jr., 43, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2006 in Beeville, Texas.
He was born on May 12, 1962 in Kenedy, Texas to Bryan Hilmar Pundt and Eileene Wernli Pundt. He married Kimberly Gloor on April 13, 2001 in Beeville, Texas. He was employed as a lieutenant with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly R. Pundt of Beeville, Texas; one daughter, Ashleigh Marie Pundt of Aubrey, Texas; one step-daughter, Amber Lyn Gloor and one step-son, Erik Gloor both of Beeville, Texas; parents, Bryan Hilmar and Eileene Pundt and one sister, Monie JoLeene Young all of Mathis, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at Galloway & Sons Funeral home in Beeville, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 23, 2006 at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home in Beeville with Rev. Norris Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Beeville Memorial Park.

Domingo Sanchez Jr., 59, died Tuesday, March 21, 2006.
Visitation was set for Wednesday (today) from 1 to 9 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home. A prayer service was set for 6 p.m. there. The funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Salvador Rincon officiating. The body will be cremated.
Mr. Sanchez was born June 30, 1946, in Beeville to Anita Saldivar and Domingo Sanchez Sr. He was a U.S. Marine, resided in Beeville and was a construction worker.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Anita S. Cuellar, and one brother, Esmeraldo Sanchez.
He is survived by a daughter, Patty DeLaCruz and husband Anthony of Beeville; his father, Domingo Sanchez Sr. and wife Candy of Kress; three brothers, Rene Sanchez and wife Stella of Seguin, Armando Sanchez and wife Frances of Beeville and Manuel Sanchez and wife Sylvia of Round Rock; one stepbrother, Martin Sanchez of Kress; one stepsister, Angela Noriega of Kress; and three grandchildren, Nicholas, Miranda and Joesea DeLaCruz.
