Mrs. Crawford
Ila Lee Roberson Crawford, 97, died in a Three Rivers nursing home on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007.
She was born to Alexander Lee and Nannie Elizabeth (Camack) Roberson in Mineral on Sept. 15, 1910. She married George Ervin Crawford, Sr. on Jan. 20, 1934. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George Ervin Crawford, Sr.; and her parents, Alec and Nannie Roberson.
Her survivors include four sons, George Ervin Crawford, Jr. of Three Rivers, David Lee (Vera) Crawford of George West, Patrick Dale (Chris) Crawford of Bixby, Okla., and Joe Allen (Linda) Crawford of Three Rivers; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was to be held Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Chapel in Three Rivers. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today (Saturday) at the First Baptist Church in Three Rivers with Rev. Randy Samuels officiating. Interment will follow at Mineral Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Eric Crawford, Matthew Crawford, Joe Allen Crawford, Jr., Sam Marcello and Scott Gisler.

Mr. Lamm
James (Jimmy) Richard Lamm, age 86, died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, at a local nursing home.
James was born January 27, 1921, to Walter E. and Jennie Lamm in Mansfield, Texas.
The family moved to George West in 1926 and purchased the Ice House plant. He married Dorothy Kendall on December 21, 1941. He joined the Seabees in 1942 and was a 3rd Class SK until 1945. He and his father owned and operated George West Utilities from 1946 to 1953. From 1953 to 1972 he was owner and operator of Lamm’s Plumbing and Electric. He went to work for Hudson Engineering in 1972 and continued to work for that company which is now McDermott Engeinnering until his retirement in 1992.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; and daughter, Harriet, of George West; a brother, Walter Lamm Jr. of Waxahachie; a sister, Maureen Lamm Davis of Jourdanton; grandchildren, Warren Seidel (Jeannie) of Westoff, Brad Seidel (Denise) of Longview, and Melissa Clampit (Rusty) of Gonzales; seven great-grandchildren; 10 nephews; and seven nieces.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jimmie Dale Lamm Seidel; his parents; and two sisters, Mable Frances Canfield and Virginia Burton.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at George West Cemetery, George West. Pallbearers were nephews Chauncey Canfield, Thomas Canfield, Robert Canfield, Scott Kendall, Gary Kendall, Wynn Kendall and Will Kendall.

Mrs. Denison
Rita Miranda Denison, 66, of Beeville, died on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007.
She was born in Las Palmas, Guerrero, Mexico, on April 14, 1941, to Praxedis Miranda and Natividad Manzarez. She married Vernon Denison in Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico on March 14, 1959.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Bertha Castro.
She is survived by her husband, Vernon Denison of Beeville; one son, Javier Denison of Houston; two daughters, Bernice Peacock of Calgary, Canada and Marcella Marshall of Beeville; one grandson, Justin Denison; one granddaughter, Ashley Denison; one sister, Cira Campos of Acapulco, Mexico; and three brothers, Refugio Manzarez, Galdino Miranda, and Carmelo Miranda, all of Acapulco, Mexico.

Infant Fish
Laura Caroline Fish, precious and beloved daughter of Heather and Jeffrey Fish, was born asleep and became God’s newest angel on Saturday, September 15, 2007 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Surviving are her parents; grandparents, Alison and David Hutchens of Beeville, Carol Fish of Beeville and Robert Fish of Port Aransas. Great-grandparents are Laura and Jesse Johnson of Pettus, Martha Hutchens of Corpus Christi, and Lois Darden of Lakeway. She has an Uncle Brent Fish of Beeville and cousins Zachary and Cormac of Midland.
Her great-grandmother, Josephine Shay Fish and great-grandfathers, David A. Hutchens, Sr., Jack Marshall Darden, and Howard E. Fish, preceded her in death.
Her graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2007, at Glenwood Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. with Adrian Amaya, Rector of St. Philip’s Episcopal Church officiating.

Mr. Hernandez
Joe Nino Hernandez, 34, of Washington, D.C., died on Monday, Sept. 10, 2007, at a Washington, D.C., hospital.
He was born Oct. 13, 1972, in Phoenix, Ariz. He was a 1991 graduate of Three Rivers High School.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Genara and Saturnino Hernandez; his great-grandparents, Jesusa and Pedro Chabera; and one brother-in-law, Joe Henry DeLeon.
Survivors include his wife, Joanna Brady of Washington, D.C.; one son, Bruno Brady Hernandez of Washington, D.C.; his parents, Maria Julia (Jerry) Caballero of Three Rivers and Thomas C. Hernandez, formerly of Three Rivers; three sisters, Irma (Guadalupe) Frausto of Three Rivers, Margarita (Jeff) Graham of Oxnard, Calif., and Micala (Damon) Wilson of George West; one step-sister, Melissa Guzman of Three Rivers; one step-brother, Jerry Caballero Jr. of Greeley, Colo.; grandparents, Maria and Pablo Gutierrez and Timoteo G. Briseno, all of Three Rivers; two nephews, Lucas Cruz Jr. and Rex DeLeon; one niece, Julia Graham; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. at Roberson Funeral Home in Three Rivers. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Three Rivers. Interment followed at the Three Rivers Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Angel Briseno, Micheal Garza, Brian Hernandez, Arlee Bowerman, Eric Angelus and Brett Stevenson. Honorary pallbearers were Lucas Cruz, Carolee Davila and John Brady.

George Lawson, 71, of Beeville, died on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007, at his residence.
He was born on Nov. 21, 1937, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Theresa Fayde and William Edward Lawson. He was a retired chef and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Carlona June Odem of Beeville; two step-daughters, Mercedes Flanagan and Mariah Lawson, both of Beeville; one sister, Donna Fenceroy of Houston; one brother, William Dovali of San Antonio; and one niece, Celia Fenceroy.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Treviño Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated there at 2 p.m. Thursday with Rev. David Garcia officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Weyenberg, Kenneth Wilson, Garen Rodriguez and William Dovali.

Otilia H. Ponce, 97, of Beeville, died on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007.
She was born on Sept. 11, 1910, in Bee County, to Marcela Soliz and Arnoldo Hinojosa. She married Luis G. Ponce in Beeville in 1962 and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Luis G. Ponce, on April 3, 2007.
She is survived by two daughters, Ramona Moreno of Houston, and Marcela Menchaca of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one son, Salvador (Mike) Garza of San Francisco, Calif.; one brother, Arnoldo Hinojosa Jr. of Beeville; one sister, Natividad Rodriguez of Beeville; 11 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Angelus Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited there at 7:30 p.m. today (Wednesday). Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. James Catholic Church with Father Balaswamy Pasala officiating. Interment will follow at San Pedro Cemetery in the Clareville Community.
Pallbearers will be Joe Frank Moreno, Raymond Moreno, Albert Menchaca, Arthur Menchaca, Richie Menchaca and Robert Menchaca Jr.

Mr. Cunningham
Harold B. Cunningham, 74, of Three Rivers, died on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007.
He was born on Jan. 16, 1933, in Blackwell to Lawrence and Ruth Brown Cunningham. He married Dolores Kennemer on Feb. 2, 1953. He entered the U.S. Army in 1953 and served two years in the Guided Missile Center in El Paso. He worked at Armco Steel in Houston for 13 years before going into business for himself. He owned and operated Cunningham Construction Company from 1968 until Nov. 21, 2006. He built homes and commercial buildings in Texas, Colorado and St. Croix in the Virgin Islands with his son Randy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Bernice Cunningham; and one brother, James Cunningham.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Dolores (Kennemer) Cunningham of Three Rivers; two daughters, Darla Calliham and husband Travis of Calliham and Sharon Holmes and husband Larry of Three Rivers; one son, Randy Cunningham and wife Kennah of Ridgeway, Colo.; six grandchildren, Adrean Ragsdale, Stasa Moffett, Tristin Murry, Jake and Jessie Cunningham, and Hannah Rene Holmes; one great-grandson; three brothers, Hershel P. Cunningham and wife Jimmy of Oakwood, Carl Cunningham and wife Marylyn of Brenham, and Jearl Cunningham and wife Mary of Canton; and three sisters, Faye Waddell of Myrtle Creek, Ore., Ruby Louellen and husband Curtis of Brady, and Shirley Knight and husband Larry of Austin.
Visistation was held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home in Three Rivers with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Services were held at 10 a.m. Friday at White Creek Baptist Church outside of Three Rivers with Pastor Glenn Killam officiating. Special music was provided by musician Donna Davis and soloist Mart Brysch. Interment followed at White Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ronny Gee, Wallace Gee, Bobby Geffert, Cody Cunningham, Jim Davis and Justin Murdock.

Irene Johns Airheart, 75, of Beeville, died on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007.
She was born on Feb. 16, 1922, in Mansville, Okla., to Una Jones and James R. Johns. She married A.P. “Bill” Airheart on Nov. 8, 1942, in Trinidad. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Beeville.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her brothers, Floyd Johns, Walter Johns and Alvis Johns.
Survivors include one son, Johnny Airheart of Houston; and one granddaughter, Whitney Nicole Airheart.
Visitation was held from 2 to 5 p.m. Monday at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home. Graveside services were to be held at 1 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Malakoff Cemetery in Malakoff.
