Rueben W. Storch, 80, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2005, in Beeville.
Visitation was held Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Three Rivers. Funeral service was held Friday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Three Rivers with the Rev. Randy Samuels officiating. Burial was in Mineral Cemetery in Mineral.
Pallbearers were Jim Keese, George Eilers, Perry Kerr, Mike Davis and Charles Woodward.
Mr. Storch was born July 18, 1925, in Round Top to Antonette Lucke and Willie Storch. He married Gladys Perigo in Three Rivers in 1949. He was an auction barn worker for Bee County, Live Oak County and Karnes County. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Three Rivers.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by one daughter, Bettie (Bob) Wood of Tatum; one sister, Sydonie (J.W.) Brundrett of Normanna; two grandchildren, Vona Wood of Tatum and Jason Wood of Longview; two great-grandchildren, Lindsey Burton and Mason Lane Nicholson; and several nieces and nephews.

Conoly
Patrick Crowell Conoly, 41, died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2005.
A memorial service was held Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Beeville with the Rev. Adrian Amaya officiating. Graveside services were held Friday at 4:30 p.m. at the Bandera Cemetery in Bandera.
Mr. Conoly was born April 5, 1964, in Kerrville to Darlene Dee Crowell and Dan Conoly Jr. He had resided in Houston for six years and worked for Global Logistics.
He is survived by his mother, Darlene Conoly of Beeville; his father, Dan B. Conoly Jr. of Floresville; a brother, Clay Conoly and wife Diane of Bandera; a sister, Dona “Bitsy” Neuser and husband Bob of Beeville; a half brother, Bart Koontz of San Antonio; a half sister, Shell Somoza of San Antonio; and nieces and nephews, Alec and Sharp Conoly and Marisa and Clayre Neuser.

Stevens
The Rev. James William “J.W.” Stevens, 73, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2005. Visitation was Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home in Beeville. Funeral service was held Friday at 10 a.m. at the graveside at Beeville Memorial Park with the Rev. Tommy Stogner officiating.
Honorary pallbearers were George Moff, Wood Harrod, James Lamar, Orman Gwynn, John Zimmer, Virgil Wilkins, Merle McNeill, John Harris, Marvin Voss and John Suffel.
Mr. Stevens was born Nov. 22, 1931, in Bee County to Lola Belle Thurmond and Frank A. Stevens. He was married on Dec. 10, 1950, to Lena Mae Freasier in Bee County. They resided in George West and were members of Oakville Baptist Church.
The Rev. Stevens was a retired minister and served three years at Good Hope Baptist Church, six years at Blanconia Baptist Church, three years at Mineral Baptist Church, six years at Tuleta Baptist Church and several years at the South Texas Children’s Home.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Lena Mae Stevens of George West; children, Gary Stevens of Kentucky, Scott Stevens of George West and Pamela Miller and husband Tommy of George West; two half sisters, Lenora Prater of Pipe Creek and Loma Mae Blancett and husband G.L. of Georgia; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Landreth
Wesley Lee Landreth Jr., 45, died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2005.
Visitation will be Saturday from 2 to 2:30 p.m. at the graveside in Waldheim Cemetery in Tynan. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Ben Drewry officiating, followed by burial there.
Mr. Landreth was born Nov. 3, 1960, in McKinney to Trudy Earlene Lancaster and Wesley Lee Landreth Sr. After graduation from high school, he served with the United States Marines. He resided in Beeville, was a construction worker and a member of the Pentecostal church.
He is survived by one son, Wesley Lee Hill of El Paso; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Landreth Sr. of Beeville; two sisters, Lynnette Aguilar and husband Jose of Beeville and Sheila Landreth of Three Rivers; and eight brothers, Alan Landreth, Virgil Landreth and wife Oralia, Billy Landreth and wife Adelaida, John Landreth and wife Gloria, Vernon Landreth, Loyd Landreth and wife Rosita and Kyle Landreth, all of Beeville, and Jason Landreth and wife Courtney of Michigan.

Juanita Soto Lockhart, 63, died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2005.
Visitation was scheduled Friday from noon-9 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home. A rosary was to be recited Friday at 7 p.m. there. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Father Lukose Thirunelliparambil officiating. Burial will follow in San Domingo Cemetery in Normanna.
Mrs. Lockhart was born March 5, 1942, in Ganado to Francisca Martinez and Luciano Soto. She married John D. Lockhart on May 24, 1970, in Angleton. Formerly of Port Lavaca, she resided in Beeville and was a homemaker. She enjoyed cross stitching and was a board member of the Beeville Pet Assistance Association. She was a Catholic.
She was preceded in death by her father; her first husband, Robert Leon Sanford; and a brother, Jesse Soto.
Survivors include her husband, John D. Lockhart of Beeville; her mother, Francis M. Soto of Ganado; four sons, John B. Lockhart (Melissa) of Pearland, Kenneth W. Sanford (Sarah) of West Columbia, Joseph Sanford (Michelle) of Alvin and Raymond Sanford of Bay St. Louis, Miss.; a daughter, Starla Sanford of Alvin; two brothers, Ernest Soto (Dana) of Port Lavaca and Raymond Soto (Yolanda) of Houston; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Cantu
Polito L. Cantu, Sr., 81, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2005, in Fort Worth.
A prayer service was held at 7 p.m. Friday in Greenwood Funeral Home. Funeral service was held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Worth. Burial followed in Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park.
Mr. Cantu was born Feb. 2, 1924, in Dinero. He is preceded in death by his wife, Alma Cantu; parents; two brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include a daughter, Alma Davila and husband Tereso of Fort Worth; a son, Polito Cantu Jr. and wife Connie of Oklahoma City, Okla.; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three brothers; and two sisters.
Services were handled by Greenwood Funeral Home, Fort Worth.
Carpenter
Orville Roy Carpenter, 83, died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2005. He was born in San Antonio on Sept. 29, 1922, to Ernestine Deckert and R.H. Carpenter. He married Lucille McCollom on Nov. 7, 1946, in Beeville. He was a resident of Mathis for 25 years. He worked in oilfield services for 40 years.
Survivors include a son, John Robert Carpenter of Carmi, Ill., a daughter, Jane Marie McCracken of Bishop; three grandchildren, Heather Lynn Wilson, Joshua Robert Carpenter and Todd Michael Thomas; and five great-grandchildren, Kayla Lynn Thomas, Luke and Tyler Wilson and Deegan and Taylor Carpenter.
Visitation will be Sunday at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at that funeral home with burial following at Beeville Memorial Park.

Delgado
Miss Luisa P. Delgado, 95, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2005.
Visitation was Thursday from 12-9 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home. A prayer service was held Thursday at 7 p.m. at that chapel. The funeral service was held Friday at 10 a.m. at the same place with local elder Eliazar Guerrero officiating. Burial followed in San Pedro Cemetery in the Clareville community.
She was born Aug. 25, 1910, in Bee County to Adelida Perez and Carlos M. Delgado Sr. She resided in Beeville and was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Carlos Delgado Jr. and Liborio Delgado and sisters, Maria Delgado Gutierrez and Herminia Delgado Rendon.
She is survived by three sisters, Elumina Delgado Elizalde and husband Isacc of Beeville, Selia Delgado Garcia and husband Rudolfo of Sinton and Adelaida Delgado Cano of California; a brother, Jesus Delgado of Beeville; a nephew, Rolando Zepeda Sr. and wife Alicia of Victoria; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and family members.

Dunn
Ruby Lee Dunn of Beeville died on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Lee Dunn, just two months ago.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her mother, Bettie Ketcher, and sisters, Polly and Joe Ketcher.
She was born on Sept. 2, 1925, in Watts, Okla.
She is survived by her children, James Dunn (Patricia) of San Marcos, John Dunn (Margaret) of Beeville, Martha Patton (Bill) of San Antonio, Lori DuBose of Kenedy; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral service is at 2 p.m. Saturday at Dunn Memorial Baptist Church, 3849 FM 1827, McKinney, Texas 75071.

Fojtik
Rudolph “Rudy” Fojtik, 82, died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2005.
Visitation was to be held Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home. Rosary was to be recited Friday at 7 p.m. at that chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Patrick Donohoe officiating. Burial will follow in Beeville Memorial Park.
Mr. Fojtik was born Sept. 9, 1923, in Skidmore to Filomena Novak and Joe Fojtik. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married Dovey Uzzell on Oct. 21, 1950, in Beeville. He had resided here since 1947 and was a retired Postal Service carrier. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, VFW, American Legion and National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Dovey Uzzell Fojtik of Beeville; one daughter, Kathryn Fojtik of Houston; four sons, Michael Fojtik and wife Elizabeth, Timothy and Joseph Fojtik, all of Beeville, and Patrick Fojtik and wife Annette of Houston; one sister, Lillian Baylor of Beeville; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
