Betty Jean Williams Moss, 77, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2004, at her home.
Mrs. Moss was born Nov. 7, 1926, in Texarkana. She was a homemaker and a member of Hardy Memorial United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray F. Moss.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Browning of Texarkana and Susie Moss of Orange County, Calif.; three sons, Dr. Ray Moss of Pickens, S.C., Richard Moss of St. Louis and Robert Moss of Swan Lake, Mont.; one sister, Bobby Sue Tyler of Texarkana; six grandchildren; two great - grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Texarkana Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond Cammack officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery, Queen City, Texas.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of Bobby Sue Tyler.

CLARKSVILLE, Texas - Michael Earl "Bo" Travillion, 29, of Avery, Texas, died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2004, at his home.

NELLIE HERVEY
Nellie Louise Hervey, 84, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2004, in a local assisted living facility.
Mrs. Hervey was born Nov. 25, 1919, in Bisbee, Ariz. She was retired from Famous Brand Shoes and Bealls Department Store and a member of Williams Memorial Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Hervey, in 1982.
Survivors include one son and daughter - in - law, Richard and Jackie Hervey of Texarkana; one daughter and son - in - law, Becky and Scott Overstreet of DeKalb, Texas; two grandchildren and grandchildren - in - law, Shawn and Traci Hervey and Sha and Patrick Quinn; two great - grandchildren, Dawson Hervey and Preston Quinn; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. today in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens with Norman Hooten officiating. Burial will be under direction of East Funeral Home, Moore's Lane.

EVELYN TAYLOR
HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas - Evelyn Duncan Taylor, 85, of Fort Worth, Texas, died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2004, at her home.
Mrs. Taylor was born April 3, 1919, in Marietta, Texas. She was a retired teacher and a member of Southcliff Baptist Church, Texas State Teacher's Association and Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband, Ray Joffre Taylor of Fort Worth; one son and daughter - in - law, Jeff D. and Lisa Taylor of Fort Worth; one brother and sister - in - law, Eldridge "Sonny" and Verda Duncan of Talco, Texas; one granddaughter, Sydney Lee Taylor of Fort Worth; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Reeder - Davis Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Carroll Marr officiating. Burial will be in Flat Creek Cemetery, Marietta.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Robertson Mueller Harper Funeral Home, Fort Worth.

BROKEN BOW, Okla. - Matthew Cole Garrett, 20, of Broken Bow died Saturday, July 31, 2004, in Miami, Fla.
Mr. Garrett was born Nov. 29, 1983, in De Queen, Ark.
Survivors include his parents, Eddie and Vicki Garrett of Idabel, Okla., Pete Barnes of Broken Bow and Ricky and Anna Pole of Corpus Christi, Texas; six sisters, Amanda Horn, Sara Barnes and Alisha Barnes of Broken Bow, Deidra Garrett and Lucretia McDonald of Idabel and Annette Dollarhide of Redland, Okla.; three brothers, Jamie Garrett, Jeremy Pole and Jason Pole of Broken Bow; his grandparents, Bryant and Shirley Oglesby of Broken Bow, Larry and Kay Martin of Haworth, Okla., Dean and Charlene Justus of Idabel and Doug and Mary Williams of Duncanville, Texas; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at First Assembly of God with the Rev. Roy Ford officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery under direction of Brumley Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
JANELLE CLEMENTS
ATLANTA, Texas - Janelle Clements, 72, of Atlanta died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2004, in Texarkana, Texas.
Mrs. Clements was born May 5, 1932, in Cass County, Texas. She was retired chief appraiser for Cass County Appraisal District, former Atlanta city secretary and employee of the Atlanta school system and a member of First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.S. "Bully" Clements.
Survivors include one son and daughter - in - law, Stan and Karen Clements of Paige, Texas; two grandchildren, Will Clements of Austin and Colton Clements of Paige; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 10 a.m. today at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Wilkey officiating. Burial will be in Pine Crest Cemetery under direction of Hanner Funeral Home.
ROBERT WATSON
Robert Paul Watson, 83, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, Aug. 1, 2004, in a local hospital.
Mr. Watson was born May 24, 1921 in Snyder, Okla. He was the retired owner of Safety Brake Co., a member of Central Christian Church and a World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ashley Watson.
Survivors include three sons, Ashley Watson of Texarkana, Warren Watson of Fraser, Colo., and Robert Watson Jr. of Austin; one daughter, Casilda Moseley of Texarkana; 10 grandchildren; four great - grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Central Christian Church with the Rev. Jeff Robinett officiating. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home.
OLLIE BREED
Ollie Marie Breed, 87, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2004, in San Antonio.
Mrs. Breed was born March 11, 1917, in Bowie County, Texas. She was a retired nurse and a Baptist.
She is survived by two sons and daughters - in - law, Herman and Ann Breed of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Joe and Linda Breed of Texarkana; five sisters, Comma Shelton and Lera Luttrell of Texarkana, Jewel Caddenhead of Hooks, Texas, Freddie Steelman of Burleson, Texas, and Evelyn Marks of Downey, Calif.; six grandchildren; 11 great - grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. today in Red Lick Cemetery wth the Rev. Cranford Graves officiating. Burial will be under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home.

ATLANTA, Texas - Jennie J. Jones, 90, of Atlanta died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2004, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Jones was born March 5, 1914, in Delta County, Texas. She was the owner and operator of Jones Grocery and Service Station. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howell Jones.
Survivors include one son and daughter - in - law, Jack H. and Betty Armstrong of Galveston, Texas; two grandsons and one granddaughter - in - law, Steven Armstrong of Galveston and Bob and Lisa Armstrong of Coppell, Texas; one granddaughter, Stacy Walsh of Galveston; one niece and nephew - in - law Gloria and Jerry Matthews of Cooper, Texas; and six great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. today in Oaklawn Cemetery, Cooper, Texas. Burial will be under direction of Hanner Funeral Home.

DALLAS, Texas - Katie Alcorn, 51, of Dallas died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004.
Ms. Alcorn was born Nov. 15, 1952.
Survivors include one son, Greg Alcorn; her parents, Milton Sr. and Beatrice Alcorn; 10 brothers and sisters, Emma Davis, Bernice Green, Rosie Alcorn, Kennedy Alcorn, Birdie Alcorn, Lena Morgan, Melvin Alcorn, Emmanuel Alcorn, Queen Stevenson, and Bessie Thompson; and a number of other relatives.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Texarkana. Arrangements are under direction of Paradise Funeral Home.
