FREDIA HOLLOWAY
Fredia Mae Ford Holloway, 76, of Rohnert Parks, Calif., died Sunday, April 4, 2004, in a Santa Rosa, Calif., hospital.
Mrs. Holloway was born Jan. 28, 1928, in Nash, Texas. She was a member of Greater Power House COGIC, where she was an evangelist and district missionary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Holloway.
Survivors include four sisters, Viola Paysinger, Thelma Johnson and Leola Ford of Los Angeles and Ruby Lee Braggs of Nash; one sister - in - law, Mettie Holloway of Redwater, Texas; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater Shiloh COGIC with Superintendent Leon Brewer Jr. and Elder James Tudman officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Gethsemane, Chapelwood Memorial Gardens, under direction of Haynes Mortuary.

WALTER GRIGSBY
Walter "Bunchie" Grigsby, 43, of Texarkana died Tuesday, April 6, 2004, in Texarkana.
Mr. Grigsby was born Aug. 26, 1960, in Texarkana. He was a construction worker and a member of Gold Point Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Dolwin White of Texarkana and Corey Daniels of Savannah, Ga.; one daughter, Sher - Moni Mack of Augusta, Ga.; two stepdaughters, Ashca French and Natasha French of Texarkana; one brother, McKinley Williams of Texarkana; and six sisters, Ida Mae Williams, Rosie Williams, Ruby Matlock, Lula Bea Williams, Ruthie Diane Ross and Shirley Ann Grigsby of Texarkana.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Miles Chapel CME Church with the Rev. Anthony Ware officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Gardens under direction of Haynes Mortuary.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The family will be at 1614 W. 11th St.
NELL DELLINGER
Charlie Nell Dellinger, 66, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, April 14, 2004, at her home.
Mrs. Dellinger was born Aug. 12, 1937, in Nashville, Ark. She was a homemaker, retired from Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant, a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and Helping Hand Tax Service, where she served as secretary - treasurer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Dellinger.
Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte Bowling of Texarkana and Beth McMillen of Las Vegas; one son, John Dellinger; seven sisters, Mary Woodruff of Nashville, Catherine Jones of Texarkana, Virginia Flaherty of Magnolia, Ark., Sue Spicer of Mineral Springs, Ark., Billy Sisler of Westmont, Ill., Jackie Stout of Union City, Calif., Pamela Caldwell of Little Rock and Rebecca Sullivan of San Mateo, Calif.; three brothers, Charles Sullivan of Texarkana and Jimmy Don Sullivan and Edwin Sullivan of Nashville; six grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Hillcrest Memorial Park with the Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Burial will be under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the Dellinger home, 20 Shady Acres Lane, Texarkana, Texas.

NEW BOSTON, Texas - Opal Powell Murdock, 95, of New Boston, died Sunday, April 25, 2004, in a Texarkana hospital.
Mrs. Murdock was born Aug. 13, 1908, in Siloam, Texas. She was a teacher, a homemaker a former nursing home auxiliary volunteer and a member of New Boston First Baptist Church and Order of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dee Latimer Murdock.
Survivors include one son and daughter - in - law, Steve and Jan Murdock of Midland, Texas; one grandson and granddaughter - in - law, Brad and Stephanie Murdock of Texarkana; and one great - granddaughter, Linley Murdock of Texarkana.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bates - Rolf Funeral Home Chapel with Drs. Frank Brooks and Ken Cox officiating. Burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery, Simms, Texas.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

ATLANTA, Texas - Roland "Junior" Rosser Jr., 79, of Atlanta died Monday, April 26, 2004, in Atlanta.
Mr. Rosser was born June 13, 1924, in Red River County, Texas. He was a World War II Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Rosser of Atlanta; two sons and one daughter - in - law, Johnny and Milly Rosser and James Rosser of Atlanta; one daughter and son - in - law, Rana and Orville Ball of Maud, Texas; two sisters, Marcelle Crutcher and Janet Partain of Atlanta; four grandchildren; three great - grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today in Kildare Cemetery, Kildare, Texas, with the Rev J.W. Crow and Don Crutcher officiating. Burial will be under direction of Hanner Funeral Service.

Betty Lue O'Neal, 60, of Redwater, Texas, died Saturday, April 24, 2004, in a local hospital.
Mrs. O'Neal was born March 24, 1944, in Jonesville, Ark. She was a private sitter for the elderly and a member of Westside Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne O'Neal of Redwater; two sons, Larry R. Baker and Edmond E. Stewart of Texarkana; three daughters, Theresa A. Ross of Santa Maria, Calif., Cathy Ondriezek of Texarkana and Peggy Watson of Bivens, Texas; one stepson, Warren O'Neal of Texarkana; one stepdaughter, Christy Huddleston of Harrison, Ark.; one brother, John G. Jones of Bivens; one sister, Annie Caddenhead of Nash, Texas; 16 grandchildren; two great - grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Myrtle M. Simmons, 84, of Glendale, Ariz., died Friday, April 23, 2004, in Glendale.
Mrs. Simmons was born Jan. 5, 1920, in Newton County, Texas. She was a nurse and a member of Eylau Baptist Church, Texarkana, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Madison J. Simmons.
Survivors include one son and daughter - in - law, Richard and Carol Simmons of Phoenix; two stepdaughters, Joyce Young of Ashdown, Ark., and Audrey Jones of Texarkana; two grandsons; 10 stepgrandsons; and a number of great - grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at East Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, Moores Lane. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.

VIVIAN, La. - Vernon Roberts, 82, of Vivian, died Monday, April 26, 2004, at his home.
Mr. Roberts was born Jan. 27, 1922, in Miller County, Ark. He was a retired pipefitter and a member and deacon of Vivian First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Bea Roberts of Vivian; two sons, Kenny Tidwell of Houston and Gary Roberts of Haughton, La.; two daughters, Lydia Brunet of Baton Rouge, La., and Karen Gates of Lewisville, Texas; one sister, Allene Vestal of Queen City, Texas; three brothers, Roy Roberts and Jack Roberts of Texarkana and W.W. "Bud" Roberts of Kilgore, Texas; nine grandchildren; one great - grandchild; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Vivian First Baptist Church with the Rev. Gilbert Kendrick officiating. Burial will be in Vivian Cemetery under direction of McGuire Funeral Home.

IDABEL, Okla. - Frances Williams, 78, of Idabel, died Saturday, April 24, 2004, in Idabel.
Mrs. Williams was born April 29, 1925, in Goodwater community. She was a homemaker and a member of Bible Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hampton Williams in 2001; two sons, Donell Williams and Sonny Williams; one daughter, Lucille Seeley; two grandsons, Benny Williams and Delvis Battiest; and three granddaughters, Tasha Williams, Marie Ann Harley and Atiya Williams.
Survivors include two sons, Marcus Williams and Timmy Williams of Idabel; seven daughters, Linda Ott of Oklahoma City, Lydia McClure and Rose Shemwell of Idabel, Viola Battiest and Rita Anna of Wright City, Okla., Loretta Battiest of Broken Bow, Okla., and Bonnie Holt of Stilwell, Okla.; one brother, Buddy Tonihka of Albuquerque, N.M.; two sisters, Pauline Eyachabbe of Oklahoma City and Mary Belle Williston of Idabel; 27 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Norwood - Coffey - Leonard Funeral Home Chapel with Luther Battiest and Clayton Anna officiating. Burial will be in Canfield Cemetery.
Wake will be 6:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
BLANCHE THOMPSON
Blanche Geddie Thompson, 95, of Texarkana, Texas, died Thursday, April 22, 2004, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Thompson was born Nov. 1, 1908, near Bastrop, La. She was owner and operator of Thompson Pecan House and a member and Sunday school teacher of Rose Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Billie Anne Thompson; one stepdaughter, Virginia McCormack; and one stepgranddaughter, Kyra Turner.
Survivors include two sons and daughters - in - law, John Morris and Karen Thompson of Texarkana and James Allen and Jean Thompson of Birmingham, Ala.; one stepdaughter, Margaret Fletcher of Midland, Texas; two grandsons, Tommy Thompson of Campbell, Texas, and Jeff Thompson of California; two granddaughters, Shannon and Jerry Powers of Texarkana and Kathryn Thompson of Birmingham; five stepgrandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services were April 26 in Hillcrest Memorial Park with the Rev. Orville Farren officiating. Burial was under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home.
