Bertezell Robertson, 80, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, April 9, 2004.
Mrs. Robertson was born Sept. 8, 1923, in Avinger, Texas. She was a retired Bowie County extension agent and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Emerson Hamilton and Eldridge Robertson
Survivors include two sons and four daughters - in - law, the Rev. James and Linda Hamilton of Texarkana, Jimmy and Lynette Hamilton of Inglewood, Calif., and Mary Hamilton and Shirley Hamilton; one daughter and son - in - law, Marie and Henry McCant of Domino, Texas; seven stepsons; one stepdaughter; nine grandchildren; six great - grandchildren; three great - great - grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Macedonia Baptist Church with the Revs. A.A. Cox, A.J. Gay and Billy Ford officiating. Entombment will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under direction of East Funeral Home, Downtown.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
RAYMOND HAMILTON
Raymond Hamilton, 74, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, April 13, 2004, in Little Rock.
Mr. Hamilton was born June 23, 1929, in Columbus, Ark. He was a farmer and a member of Moose Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Hardy Hamilton of Texarkana; four sons, Eugene Hamilton of Blanchard, La., James Hamilton of Fouke, Ark., and Carl Hamilton and Joe Hamilton of Texarkana; one daughter, Ruby Reno Hamilton; two stepsons, Randy Martin and Gordon Martin; one half - brother, Dick Hamilton of Hope; nine grandchildren; six great - grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. today in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Don Brazile officiating. Burial will be under direction of East Funeral Home, Downtown.
Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.

NEW BOSTON, Texas - Robert L. "Bobby" McGee Jr., 55, of New Boston died Wednesday, April 14, 2004, at his home.

NORMAN HUBBARD
Norman Hubbard, 87, of Hooks, Texas, died Sunday, April 4, 2004, in Los Angeles.
Mr. Hubbard was born Oct. 26, 1916, in Hooks. He was retired from Red River Army Depot and Hooks Independent School District and the Navy, a farmer and deacon and member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include five sons, Norman Hubbard, Samuel Hubbard, John Hubbard, Carlton Hubbard and Roy L. Shephard of Hooks; five daughters, Finley Johnson of Tulsa, Okla., Erma Davis and Sheron Matthew of Los Angeles and Evelyn Bigdeli and Gwenlyn Younger of Long Beach, Calif.; three sisters, Iola Brown and Geneva Bizzell of Los Angeles and Eurea Johnson of Dallas; 42 grandchildren; 31 great - grandchildren; and one great - great - grandchild.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Cedar Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Ulycess Forte and Tim Madson officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Gardens under direction of Haynes Mortuary.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
AUDIE FORD
Audie Vernell Ford, 81, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, April 14, 2004, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Ford was born Oct. 2, 1922, in Amity, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Community Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard F. Ford.
Survivors include three sons, Joe Ford and Henry Ford of Redwater, Texas, and David Ford of New Boston, Texas; three daughters, Martha Beasley, Bernice Adams and Ernestine Allgor of Texarkana; one sister, Myrtle Sizemore of California; 16 grandchildren; 27 great - grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 10 a.m. today at Redwater First Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Rice officiating. Burial will be in Rock Hill Cemetery under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas - Hurschell "Blue" Hughes, 57, of Daingerfield, Texas, died Monday, April 12, 2004, at his home.
Mr. Hughes was born Feb. 9, 1947, in Daingerfield. He was a truck driver and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila Hughes of Daingerfield; four daughters, Asia Hughes and Sylvia Perry of Daingerfield, Samantha Wallace of Lone Star, Texas, and Mavon Shanta Riley of DeSoto, Texas; seven sons, Hurschell Hughes Jr., TaCorey Hughes, Michael Boyd, Kevin Taylor and Tony Johnson of Daingerfield, Roderick Smith of Atlanta, Texas, and Derrian Gilstrap of Lone Star; his mother, Eva Mae Jones of Daingerfield; two sisters, Willie Mae Jones and Verna Smith of Daingerfield; one brother, Melvin Jones of Dallas; 24 grandchildren; one great - grandchild; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. George Whitmore officiating. Burial will be in Whitmore Cemetery under direction of Reeder - Davis Funeral Home.
The body may be viewed from noon to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

CLARKSVILLE, Texas - Bobby Davis, 51, of Avery, Texas, died Thursday, April 15, 2004, in a Texarkana hospital.
Mr. Davis was born Dec. 2, 1952, in Clarksville. He was a former maintenance supervisor for Annona Manufacturing and a member and deacon of Gravel Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Pam Davis of Avery; one son, Josh Davis; his mother, Jo Ann Davis of Avery; one sister and brother - in - law, Shirley and Kenneth Henderson of Clarksville; one brother and sister - in - law, Donny and Annette Davis of Texarkana; his mother - in - law, Jo Aydelott of Avery; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Clarksville Funeral Home Lindeman Chapel with the Revs. H.D. Lambert and Millidge Oglesby officiating. Burial will be in English Cemetery.

NEW BOSTON, Texas - Travis A. "Pee Wee" Ross, 60, of New Boston died Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at his home.
Mr. Ross was born March 13, 1944, in Bowie County, Texas. He was a foreman for Bowie County Precinct 3 and a member of Plantation Baptist Church, DeKalb, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Ross of New Boston; one son, Travis "Buddy" Ross of Fouke, Ark.; two daughters, Tracy Garvin and Juanita Carmack of Texarkana; one stepson, Kevin Coleman of New Boston; three brothers, Jessie Ross of Avery, Texas, Lee Ross of Texarkana and Marvin Ross of New Boston; six sisters, Betty Wharton and Lorene Ross of Nash, Texas, Peggy White of Atlanta, Texas, Shirley Powell of Texarkana and June May and Maxine Elder of Simms, Texas; four grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at Bates - Rolf Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. James Ross and John Watts officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.

BROKEN BOW, Okla. - Bill Hunt, 81, of Wright City, Okla., died Wednesday, April 14, 2004, at his home.
Mr. Hunt was born Sept. 26, 1922, in Valliant, Okla. He was a former business owner, former president of the California Auto Racing Association and member of Wright City Assembly of God. He was preceded in death by one grandson, William H. Hunt III.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Hunt of Wright City; two daughters, Carolyn Clark of Wright City and Linda Rogers of Garvin, Okla.; one son, William H. Hunt Jr. of San Leandro, Calif.; one stepson, Cecil Braswell of Chico, Calif.; one stepdaughter, Mary Ann Braswell of San Leandro; two brothers, Roy Hunt of Ashdown, Ark., and Troy Hunt of Wright City; three grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Wright City First Assembly of God with Scott Stuart and Ed Clark officiating. Burial will be in Valliant Cemetery under direction of Norwood - Coffey - Leonard Funeral Home.

Vanessa Zulch Shaw, 32, formerly of Mount Pleasant, Texas, died Saturday, April 3, 2004, in Little Rock.
Survivors include her husband Larry Shaw of Little Rock; three daughters, Jessica Shaw, Shelby Shaw and Kristen Shaw of Little Rock; her parents, John and Carolyn Zulch of Texarkana and Linda and Robert Toll of Little Rock; three brothers, Anthony Zulch of Fort Smith, Ark., Sam Zulch of Cabot, Ark., and Robbie Toll of Little Rock; two stepsisters, Diana Reese and Donna Redfearn; and his grandmothers, Betty Zulch and Inez Smart.

Ruth Floyd Thomas, 98, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, April 14, 2004, in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Thomas was born Nov. 18, 1905, in Gillham, Ark. She was a homemaker, charter member of Werner Park Civic Club, past president of Louisiana Homemakers, member of AARP Chapter 2271 and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emory Watson Thomas, in 1967.
Survivors include one daughter, Joyce Schiessl of Texarkana; three granddaughters and two grandsons - in - law, Donna Garrett of Lancaster, Texas, Paula and Michael Foster of Wake Village, Texas, and Linda and Dave Lufkin of Frederick, Md.; and one nephew, Wayne Floyd of Shreveport, La.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Forest Park Cemetery, Shreveport, with Dr. Mike Anderson officiating. Burial will be under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
