ATLANTA, Texas - Beatrice Byrd, 79, of Atlanta died Monday, Feb. 9, 2004, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Byrd was born April 5, 1924, in Douglassville, Texas. She was retired from Dallas Independent School District.
Survivors include one sister, Lissie Hayden of Atlanta; one brother, Richard Dickerson Jr. of Willis Texas; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Gum Spring CME Church with the Rev. Johnny Washington officiating. Burial will be in Gum Spring cemetery under direction of Community Mortuary.
TRANNIE CARROLL
LINDEN, Texas - Trannie Mae Carroll, 87, of Linden died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2004, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Carroll was born Oct. 23, 1916, in Cass County, Texas. She was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Carroll.
Survivors include one son and daughter - in - law, B.C. and Kathy Carroll of Linden; one granddaughter and grandson - in - law, Gina and David Perry of Ore City, Texas; one brother, George Owens of Jefferson, Texas; and one sister, Adalia Turner of Irving, Texas.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. today at Pinecrest Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Bryan Baggett officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Haaland Family Funeral Home.

MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas - George Roberson, 59, of Omaha, Texas, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2004, in a Tyler, Texas, hospital.

Lee Otha Reddick Sr., 49, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday, Feb. 9, 2004, in a local hospital.
Mr. Reddick was born Feb. 12, 1954, in Monroe, La.
Survivors include two sons, Lee Otha Reddick Jr. and Jeffery Reddick of Texarkana; two daughters, Mae Retha Reddick of El Dorado, Ark., and Doris Jean Reddick of Summerfield, La.; two brothers, Billy Reddick of Texarkana and Henry Reddick of El Dorado; five sisters, Linnie Talley of El Dorado, Betty Jean Hill and Verna Barnes of Bernice, La., Dorothy Welch of Marvern, Ark., and Deborah Allen of Texarkana; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Haynes Mortuary Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Al Hinton officiating. Burial will be in Nash Cemetery.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
IMOGENE RIGGINS
DeKALB, Texas - Imogene S. Riggins, 88, of Garland, Texas, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2004, in Garland.
Mrs. Riggins was born Nov. 26, 1915, in Avery, Texas. She was a retired teacher from DeKalb and a member of Tapp Memorial United Methodist Church, New Boston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel C. Riggins on Nov. 29, 1972; and one grandson, Nathan Whitecotton on April 18, 2001.
Survivors include two sons and one daughter - in - law, Jimmy and Linda Riggins of Bellvue, Wash., and Bob Riggins of Garland; three daughters and two sons - in - law, Regina and Mack Brannan of Clarksville, Texas, Gail and Don Warrington of Maud, Texas, and Cathy Riggins of Garland; one sister and brother - in - law, Wilma and Kay Powell of New Boston; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great - grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today in Woodmen Cemetery with Robby Bates officiating. Burial will be under direction of Bates - Rolf Funeral Home.

ATLANTA, Texas - Dorothy Bessie Mae "Bess" Echols Davis, 95, died Thursday, March 11, 2004, in Palm Springs, Calif.
Mrs. Davis was born Dec. 23, 1908, in the Lewis community near Kildare, Texas. She was retired from Southern Methodist University, and a member of First Baptist Church, Kildare. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman "Bill" Davis; and one daughter, Bette Virginia "Jan" Davis Carmichael.
Survivors include one son, James H. Davis of Los Angeles; one brother, Bert Echols of Kildare Junction, Texas; seven grandchildren, Margaret "Marnie" Davis, Victoria Davis, Edward "Teddy" Davis, Andrew Davis, Chris Carmichael, Pam Homan and Stacy Carmichael; 11 great - granchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Kildare Cemetery, Kildare, with Todd Lawrence officiating. Burial will be under direction of Hanner Funeral Home.
WILLIAM GUYTON
William Neil Guyton Sr., 54, of Denton, Texas, died Tuesday, March 16, 2004, at his home.
Mr. Guyton was born Sept. 22, 1949, in Texarkana, Texas. He was a computer programmer and analyst and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Fennell Guyton of Denton; one son and daughter - in - law, William Neil Jr. and Karen Guyton of Texarkana; one stepson, 2nd Lt. Kenneth Knaps; two stepdaughters, Charmaine Drinnon and Karen Cockerham; his parents, Isaac "Red" and Irene Guyton of Texarkana; one brother - in - law, L.J. Fennell of New Jersey; and three grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Flower Mound Family Funeral Home, Flower Mound, Texas. Burial will be in DFW National Cemetery, Dallas. Local arrangements are under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Daniel Garth of Arlington; four daughters, Anita Penninigton of Lake Worth, Texas, and Peggy Carpenter, Gayla Ekstrand and Regina Reed of Arlington; one sister, Karen Hopkins of Grand Saline, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

CLARKSVILLE, Texas - Robert Lewis Williams, 73, of Detroit, Texas, died Wednesday, March 17, 2004, in a local hospital.
Mr. Williams was born Jan. 6, 1931, in Lamar County, Texas. He was a retired farmer and rancher and a member of Seventh - Day Church of God. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Bob Ward.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jane Northcutt Williams of Detroit; one son, Robert Lane Williams of Detroit; and five grandchildren, Blake Williams and Carmen Williams of Detroit and Ty Ward, Casey Ward and Cole Ward of Clarksville.
Services will be 11 a.m. today at Leesville Baptist Church with the Rev. Ralph Johnston officiating. Burial will be in Leesville Cemetery under direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Mrs. Robbins was born Aug. 19, 1960, in Texarkana, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Robins of Doddridge, Ark.; one son, John Paul Robins; two daughters, Stephanie Marie Sims and Emily Robins; four sisters, Carolyn Wix, Teresa Thomas, Adonna Borah and Tonya Ward; two brothers, Bruce Mustain and Jeff Mustain; two grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
