Mr. Thompson was born Oct. 27, 1945. He was an electrician, a Lutheran and a member of I.B.E.W. Local Union No. 301.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Thompson of Jefferson; his mother, Estleen Thompson of Jefferson; two daughters, Deborah Denise Thompson Schumacher of Centerville, Ohio, and Laura Jane Ruble of Bellevue, Mich.; one brother, Don Edward Thompson of Dallas; and three grandchildren, Tyler Ruble, Samantha Schumacher and Alex Schumacher.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Clarence Clevenger officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Haggard - Heaster Funeral Home.

GORDON OLIVER
Gordon David Oliver, 87, of Texarkana, Texas, died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2003, in a local hospital.
Mr. Oliver was born Dec. 14, 1916, in Tolleson, Ariz. He was a retired Baptist Minister, a salesman, a Mason, a member of First Baptist Church, Moores Lane and a World War II Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Ena Iona Oliver of Texarkana; two daughters and sons - in - law, Faith and Norman Burdick of Galesburg, Ill., and Charis and David Ferryman of Justin, Texas; two sons and daughters - in - law, Shawn and Harriett Oliver of Kingwood, Texas, and Jeremy and Martha E. Oliver of Fargo, N.D.; one sister, Tressie J. Durham of Newport, Ark.; nine grandchildren; and one great - grandson.
Services will be 1 p.m. today at Texarkana Funeral Home Fuqua - Everett Memorial Chapel with the Revs. William V. Garner and Larry Sims officiating. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Many Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Alton, Miss.

Robert E. Revell Jr., 60, of Texarkana, Texas, died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2003, at his home.
Mr. Revell was born Jan. 4, 1943, in Muskogee, Okla. He was Vice President of Real Estate Operations at E - Z Mart and an Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila Revell; one daughter, Angi Revell; and one uncle and aunt, Jack and Marilyn Revell of Oklahoma City.

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas - Ernestine Baxter, 81, of Lone Star, Texas, died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003, in a Longview hospital.
Mrs. Baxter was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include three sons and two - daughters - in - law, Eber Jr. and Sue Baxter of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Bill and Debbie Baxter and Allen Baxter of Lone Star; three daughters and one son - in - law, Cheryle and Eugene Steen of Diana, Texas, and Vickie Harris and Sandy Asbury of Lone Star; 12 grandchildren; 24 great - grandchildren; and one great - great - grandchild.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Reeder - Davis Funeral Home Chapel with Curtis Hall and Scott Darby officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

DeKALB, Texas - Lee Emerson, 21, of DeKalb died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2003, at his home.
Mr. Emerson was born Aug. 11, 1982, in New Boston, Texas. He was a carpenter, painter and a member of Austin Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, David Ray Emerson of Fouke, Ark.; his mother and stepfather, Terry Lynn and Conway Penny of DeKalb; one sister, Traci Penny of DeKalb; his grandparents, Jimmy and Lois Allen of DeKalb; one great - grandmother, Ozell Allen of DeKalb; one aunt, Kim Perez of Dallas; two uncles, Jerry Emerson of DeKalb and Jamie Emerson of Simms, Texas; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bates - Rolf Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Pipes officiating. Burial will be in Woodstock Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
REV. J. WILLIAM ZULCH
MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas - The Rev. J. William Zulch, 91, of Mount Pleasant, died Wednesday, March 17, in Mount Pleasant.
The Rev. Zulch was born March 6, 1912, in Johannesburg, South Africa. He was an Episcopal priest, a graduate of Nashotah House seminary and the General Theological Seminary and co - founder of the Cypress Basin Hospice and the Inter - Church Prayer Group.
The Rev. Zulch is survived by his wife, Betty Barr Zulch of Mount Pleasant; one daughter, Carolyn Staley - Johns of Surprise, Ariz.; one son and daughter - in - law, John William Zulch Jr. and Carolyn Zulch of Texarkana; five grandchildren, Anthony Zulch, Sam Zulch, Vanessa Shaw, Terri Sawyer and Mike Staley and eight great - grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Marks Episcopal Church in Mount Pleasant with the Rt. Rev. James M. Stanton and the Rev. James Slack officiating. Internment will be in St. James Episcopal Church columbarium, Texarkana. Burial is under the direction of Bates - Cooper Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant.

IDABEL, Okla. - Juanita W. Carr, 84, of Idabel died Friday, Dec. 19, 2003, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Carr was born July 11, 1919, in Mannsville, Okla. She was a county home economist at OSU Extension Office and a member of Idabel First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Graham Carr; one son, Paul Carr; and one daughter, Mary Durham.
Survivors include one son and daughter - in - law, David and Billie Jean Carr of Garvin, Okla.; two daughters and sons - in - law, Margie and Roger McDonald of Bryan, Texas, and Ora Mae and Maurice Wasson of Idabel; one sister and brother - in - law, Helen and Ernest Hooser of Durant, Okla.; 13 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services were Dec. 21, 2003, at Idabel First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. David Hixon officiating. Burial was in Canfield Cemetery under direction of Jim Norwood Funeral Home.

Clinton Lee Trickel, 73, of Nash, Texas, formerly of Atlanta, Texas, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003, at his home.
Mr. Trickel was born Jan. 6, 1930, in Delta, Colo. He was a member of Beech Street First Baptist Church and an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Self Trickel of Nash; one daughter and son - in - law, Kendra and Gustavo Revilla of Nash; one son and daughter - in - law, Clinton and Victoria Trickel of Texarkana; one sister - in - law and brother - in - law, Marvie and James C. Smith of Little Rock; two grandchildren, Marcos Revilla of Nash and Clinton Isaiah Trickel of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens with Dr. Jerry Creek officiating. Burial will be under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.

Mr. Simpson was born Aug. 3, 1940, in Red River County, Texas. He was a retired truck driver, a Baptist and an Air Force veteran.
Survivors include two sisters, Doris S. Skinner of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Bernice Dillard of Clarksville; one brother and two sister - in - laws, Bill and Lola Simpson of Clarksville and Syble Simpson of DeKalb, Texas; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. today in Albion Cemetery with the Rev. James Hinkle officiating. Burial will be under direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Mr. Baxter was a former employee of A&A Coating, a Director at Lone Star State Bank and owner, operator of Lone Star Realty and Insurance, a member of Lone Star Baptist Church and the Iron Bluff Masonic Lodge and a World War II Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Baxter of Lone Star; one son, Tyce Baxter of Prudhoe Bay, Alaska; one daughter, Twila McNutt of Lone Star; one sister and brother - in - law, Helen and Bill Kuntz of Amarillo, Texas; six grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lone Star Baptist Church with the Rev. Rick Monds and Huey Bazar officiating. Burial will be in Iron Bluff Cemetery under direction of Reeder - Davis Funeral Home.

ATLANTA, Texas - Oneida Kirkland Stubbs, 89, of Queen City, Texas, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2003, in Atlanta.
Mrs. Stubbs was born Nov. 6, 1914, in Cass County, Texas. She was the retired owner and operator of Stubbs Grocery, Queen City, and a member of Lake Country Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Stubbs; and one grandson, Jeffery Stubbs.
Survivors include two sons and daughters - in - law, Troy and Marion Stubbs of Memphis, Tenn., and Fred and Nancy Stubbs of Atlanta; three grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; five great - grandchildren; 11 stepgreat - grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
