Born Sept. 17, 1948 in Webster County, Mississippi to Johnny James Bland and Rosa Watkins, she passed away on June 11, 2003 in Lancaster. She was married
to Steve Copeland.
She is survived by husband Steve Copeland of Red Oak, son Brandon Copeland of Dallas, daughter Alisha Riordan and husband Randy of Cedar Hill, brother James Bland of Greenville, and four grandchildren.
Arrangements were under the direction of Red Oak Funeral Home with interment at Red Oak cemetery.

LAGO VISTA - Funeral services for Orah Melissa Smith Winford, 89 of Lago Vista, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2003 in the J.E. Keever Mortuary - Palmer Chapel with Chuck Guild and Roy Hignight officiating.
Born Dec. 11, 1913 in Navarro County, the daughter of Nolan D. and Jessie Walker Smith, she passed away June 10, 2003 in her home.
Preceded in death by her husband Rayburn McBurnett 'Mac' Winford; she is survived by her son and his wife Jack Ray and Earlene Winford of Lancaster; daughter Maxine and her husband Carl Weaver of Lago Vista; sister Thoura D. Baugus of Sherman; five grandchildren Alan Weaver, Tamara and husband Chuck Brothers, Mary Michelle and husband Harlan Lowrance, Karen and husband Rob Beauchamp, Ronald Ray and wife Elizabeth Winford; 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Interment followed in the Palmer cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.

Born Jan. 28, 1972 in Alice, the son of Miguel and Teofila Soto Tovias, he passed away Nov. 12, 2003 in Duncanville.
He is survived by his wife Veronica Watson of Lancaster; parents of Laredo; sons John Wayne Watson Jr. of Lancaster and Jose Patricio Watson of Lancaster; brothers James L. Watson of Killeen, Michael Watson of Lancaster and Jesus Tovias of Lancaster; sister Rosa Torres of Dallas and niece Lorena Watson of Killeen.
Pallbearers were Israel Guerrero Jr., James Watson, Jesus Tovias, Miguel Tovias, Gabriel Campoz and Israel Guerrero Sr.
Interment followed in the Ferris Memorial Park North under the direction of Green Funeral Home in Ferris.

Born May 28, 1917 in Panama, the daughter of Santiago and Juana Gallardo Perez, she passed away Nov. 10, 2003 in Yuma.
She is survived by her son Louis Elkins of Red Oak and daughter Yolanda Desmond of Arizona.

He is survived by his wife Monica Rios of Duncanville; father Mario Rios Sr. of Monterrey, Mexico; mother Consuelo Moreno of Beeville; daughters Angela Rios of Duncanville and Connie Rios of Duncanville; son Mario R.G. Rios III of Duncanville; sisters Mary Sanchez of Balch Springs, Connie Rios of Seagoville, Bertha Ortiz of Arlington, Amanda Rios of Wilmer, Betty Moreno of Cedar Hill, Bobbie Valdez of Dallas and Vicki Gonzales of Wilmer and brother Anthony Rios of Arlington.

Her husband was the operator of A&M Auto Parts in Ferris.
Born Aug. 30, 1927 in China, she passed away Nov. 10, 2003 in the Red Oak Rehabilitation Center after an eight-year struggle with emphysema.
Preceded in death by her husband Sonny (Darrell) Smith; she is survived by her children Carolyn Pennington of Burleson, Danny Smith of Ferris, Debra Smith Goodson of Ferris, Anita Smith of Ferris, Frances Monroe of Elmmott and Ron Thibodeaux of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; grandchildren Jennifer and Phillip Monroe of Elmmott, Thomas Pennington of Burleson, Rosemary Pennington of Burleson, Ilysse Henner of Georgia and great-grandchildren.

A housewife, she died Friday, March 10, 2006 in Lancaster.
Preceded in death by her parents, Agapito Martinez and Verna Garcia, she is survived by three daughters, Margarita Rodrigeuz and Leopolda Arevalo, both of Ferris, and Maria Garza of Ennis; four sons, Juan Espino and Jose Angel Espino, both of Piedras Negras, Mexico, Felix Espino of Ferris and Hector Espino of Ennis; two sisters, Carmen Martinez of Houston and Filomena Barboza of San Antonio; and one brother Pedro Martinez of Piedras Negras, Mexico.
Burial was in Ferris Memorial Park North in Ferris under the direction of Green Funeral Home.

She was reared in Red Oak and attended Red Oak schools. She married
Glen Pate in 1973. She received a heart transplant in 1988. She retired from Southwestern Bell in 2004. She loved animals, cooking, gardening, nature and music.
Preceded in death by her father and one brother, Larry Hilburn, she is survived by her husband of Palestine; mother Betty Batchelor of Waxahachie; son J. Michael Pate and wife Lauren of Red Oak; daughter Jennifer Hyndman and husband Chris of Waxahachie; brothers, James Junkin, Lee Junkin, Thomas Huckeba and Nelson Huckeba; sisters, Linda Woodard and Paty Martin; grandchildren, Logan and Andrew Pate, and Allyson and Clayton Hyndman.
Pallbearers were Mark Gowin, Robert Gowin, Shane Bernard, Kenneth Taylor, Tommy Beggs and Cecil Choate.
