RED OAK – Funeral services for Carolyn Jean Scott, of Red Oak, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2001 in the chapel of Waxahachie Funeral Home with Herb Corpany officiating.
Born on Dec. 25, 1949 in Waxahachie, the daughter of Truman and Imogene Kinkaid, she passed away April 2, 2001 at her home.
She is survived by her husband Douglas Wayne Scott; mother Imogene Kinkaid of Waxahachie and daughter Tammy Diana Brazier of Waxahachie.
Pallbearers were Ray Garcia, Richard Holyfield, Eddie Trevino, David Stacks, Jason Hayes and Chris Trevino.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home.

Deborah Kaye Wright
July 24, 1953 - April 2, 2001

DALLAS - Funeral services for Deborah Kaye Wright, 47 of Dallas, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2001 at Millbrook Baptist Church in Lancaster with Denny Burris officiating.
Born on July 24, 1953 in Crockett, the daughter of C.B. and Mary Lou Dominy Wright, she passed away April 2, 2001 in Dallas.
She is survived by her parents of Dallas; brothers Milton Wright of Plano, Elwood Wright of DeSoto, James Wright of Lancaster, Jimmy Wright of Lewisville and C.B. Wright Jr. of Lancaster; and sisters Mary Ponte, Janie Stephens both of California, Shirley Lweallyn of Mesquite and Frances Kulas of Azel.
Interment followed in the Pennington cemetery in Groveton under the direction of Red Oak Funeral Home, Berdon Byrum.

Stephen R. Frazier
May 16, 1945 - March 29, 2001

BRISTOL - Funeral services for Stephen R. Frazier, 55 of Bristol, were held at 12 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2001 in the Keever Chapel with Pastor Steven Hamm of the Patrick Baptist Church in Ferris officiating.
Born on May 16, 1945 in Springfield, Tenn., the son of Baxter and Aldina Clark Frazier, he passed away March 29, 2001 at his home.
He is survived by his wife Linda of Bristol; son Stephen Russell Frazier of Plano; daughter and husband Jennifer and Willie Dodson of Telico; three brothers Ravin Frazier of Nashville, Tenn., Mitchell and wife Sue Frazier of Clarksville, Tenn. and Jimmy and wife Sindy Frazier of Warsaw; three sisters and their husbands Shirley and Howard Harrison of Clarksville, Tenn., Betty and Roy Shelby of Nashville, and Patricia and Ray Baker of Clarksville; two grandchildren Emily and Hayden Dodson and mother-in-law Janie Hamm of Ferris.
Pallbearers were Joe Broom, Mitchell Hamm, Leon Page, Jack Bill Davis, Charles Miller and Mike Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Marty Davis and Fred Chandellor.
Interment followed in the Bristol cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.

Zachary Allen Harris
May 5, 1987 - April 2, 2001

DE CORDOVA - Funeral services for Zachary Allen Harris, 13 of De Cordova, were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2001 in the Red Oak Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chuck Osborne officiating.
Born on May 5, 1987 in Dallas, the son of Ricky Allen and Kellie Storms Harris, he passed away April 2, 2001 in De Cordova.
He is survived by his parents of De Cordova; brothers Justin and Kyle Harris of De Cordova; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Jim Harris of Maypearl and Lona Clare of Nevada; great-grandparents Bro. and Mrs. F.E. Baughman of Lancaster and Helen Harris of Wills Point; uncles and aunts Terry and Gayle Gann of Lancaster and Kyle and Amy Wipf of California and cousins Shanna and Tanner Gann of Lancaster and Kody Wipf of California.
Memorials may be sent to Rolling Hills Baptist Youth Dept. of Lancaster.
Interment followed in Mt. Zion cemetery in Collinsville under the direction of Red Oak Funeral Home, Berdon Byrum.

Ida Viola Jones
June 24, 1909 - March 31, 2001

ENNIS - Graveside services for Ida Viola Jones, 91, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2001 in Myrtle cemetery with Rev. Johnny Mansell officiating.
Born on June 24, 1909 in Atoka, Okla., the daughter of William B. and Ella R. Holmes Sharp, she passed away March 31, 2001 at Ennis Regional Medical Center.
Preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Jones Sr.; she is survived by her son Robert L. Jones of Ennis; two grandchildren Teresa Yates of Palmer and Brenda Wharton of Grays Prairie; great-grandchild Yolanda Vestal; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.

Virginia D. McCrary
Jan. 27, 1919 - April 1, 2001

ENNIS - Graveside services for Virginia D. McCrary, 82, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2001 in the Myrtle cemetery with Rev. Glenn Jones officiating.
Born on Jan. 27, 1919 in Windom, the daughter of Jack M. and Willie Blanche Price Wood, she passed away April 1, 2001 at the IOOF Nursing Home in Ennis.
Preceded in death by her parents, sister Janice M. Wood and two brothers Jack M. Wood Jr. and Leonard Price Wood; she is survived by her husband Bruce McCrary Sr. of Ennis; son and his wife Bruce and Fannie McCrary Jr. of Ennis; grandson William Dennis McCrary; and great-grandchild Meagan E. McCrary.
Arrangements were under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.

Clay I. Mendheim
June 21, 1910 - March 28, 2001

ENNIS - Funeral services for Clay I. Mendheim, 90 of Ennis, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2001 in the Keever Chapel.
Born on June 21, 1910 in Ennis, the son of Herman B. and Annie J. Wakeland Mendheim, he passed away March 28, 2001 at his home.
Preceded in death by three brothers Carl, Willie and Claude Mendheim; he is survived by his wife Faye of Ennis; three daughters Sandra and husband Bill Dyess of Ennis, Virginia Mendheim of Menlo Park, Calif. and Jerlynn Perdue of Half Moon Bay, Calif.; two sisters Cola O'Bannion of Beaumont and Pet Hitchcock of Ennis; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Anna Dyess Oakley, Dr. Steven Oakley, Emilie Dyess Stewart, Alan Stewart, Brian Perdue and Allison Perdue Triollo.
Interment followed in the Myrtle cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.

Rex R. Russell

ENNIS - Graveside services for Rex R. Russell, 62 of Ennis, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2001 in the Myrtle cemetery with Harold Keith Russell officiating.
Born on Aug. 16, 1938 in Gilmer, the son of Jasper A. and Marjori V. Collinsworth Russell, he passed away April 1, 2001 at Ennis Regional Medical Center.
Preceded in death by two brothers Jasper Russell Jr. and Milburn Russell; he is survived by his wife Nellouise of Ennis; two sons Randall A. and his wife Donna Russell of Corinth and Edward Armijo of Ennis; stepson and his wife Joe and Lisa Slaughter of Ennis; two daughters Kathy D. Russell and Cindy R. Anderson both of Grapevine; three brothers Howard Russell of Frankfort, Ky., Mack Russell of Paris and Jerry Russell of El Cajon, Calif.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Arrangements were under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.

Mildred Louise Everley

WAXAHACHIE - Graveside services for Mildred Louise Everley were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2001 at Lakeview Memorial cemetery with Rev. Ted Brown officiating.
Born on March 14, 1919 in Mansfield, the daughter of Lewis and Mary Reagan Gilstrap, she passed away Jan. 8, 2001 at her home.
She is survived by her husband A.L. (Bud) Everley; two sons Ray Everley and wife Jan and James J. Everley both of Wichita, Kan.; two daughters Sandra Everett and husband John of Scurry and Betty Reed and husband Kenneth of Waxahachie; sister Faye Shults of Waxahachie; four grandchildren Terry Esselman, Jason Reed, Shannon Flores and Greggory Pack and one great-grandchild Ryann Reed.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home.
