Irene Rials
Services for Irene Rials, 86, of Elkhart, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Elkhart Church of Christ with Perry Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Myrtle Springs Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mrs. Rials died Tuesday morning at Palestine Regional Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 1, 1915 in Anderson County to Bennie C. and Inez Cooper Daniels.
Mrs. Rials was the owner-operator of Rials Grocery Store in Elkhart. She was a member of the Elkhart Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Rials; a daughter, Nancy Carolyn Rials; a son, Daniel Day Rials; sisters, Edna Mims and Annie Murray; and brothers, Redger Daniels, B.C. Daniels and Rubert W. Daniels.
Mrs. Rials is survived by sons, W.T. Rials Jr. of Greenville and James “Toodler” Rials of Palestine; a sister, Jenny Heyl of Houston; brothers, Tommy Daniels of Longview and David Daniels of Dallas; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Rials, Kent Daniels, Eugene Grigsby, Charles Hicks, Danny Burns and Jason Sander.
Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Stephen John Senna’
Services for Stephen John Senna’, 50, of Palestine, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Veretto officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Park.
Mr. Senna’ died Sunday at Palestine Regional Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 8, 1951, in New Haven, Conn. to Clifford James Senna’ Jr. and Margaret Nash Prowse.
Mr. Senna’ was employed with Wal-Mart Warehouse, Bob Snow dealership, and was a salesman for American General Insurance Company.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He earned two oakleaf cluster medals.
Mr. Senna’ was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Senna’ of Palestine; daughters, Sue Ann Senna’ of Grandview, Mo. and Crystal Veretto of Palestine; his mother, Margaret “Peggy” Prowse of Middleburg, Fla.; sister, Patsy Westfall of Woodstock, Ga.; brothers, Michael Senna’ and Clifford Senna’, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Eric Hickman, Marcus Shelton, Allen Cochran, Jessie Honeycutt, Claude Franklin and Charles Bates. Honorary pallbearer will be Roy Miles.

Mr. Price died today at Palestine Health Care Center.
Riley Daniel “Jack” Mallard
Funeral arrangements for Riley Daniel “Jack” Mallard, 94, of Palestine, are pending at Bailey & Foster.
Mr. Mallard died Tuesday night at Mother Francis Hospital in Tyler.
Herbert S. Nicholson
Funeral arrangements for Herbert S. Nicholson, 88, of Palestine, are pending at Herrington/Land of Memory.
Mr. Nicholson died early this morning at Cartmell Home for the Aged.
Irene Grigsby
Services for Irene Grigsby, 79, of Elkhart, were at 10 a.m. today at Elkhart Church of Christ with Perry Jones officiating. Burial followed in Myrtle Springs Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mrs. Grigsby died Friday afternoon at Cartmell Home for Aged.
She was born March 7, 1923 in Houston County to Samuel S. Rials and Vinnie Kyle Rials.
Mrs. Grigsby was a member of Elkhart Church of Christ. She had worked as a clerk in a grocery store.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Betty Carolyn Bebee; sister, Rena Walling; and brothers, Elwin Rials, John Rials, Marvin Rials, Travis Rials and Jack Rials.
Mrs. Grigsby is survived by husband, W.T. “Tommy” Grigsby of Elkhart; son, Eugene Grigsby of Elkhart; sisters, Betty Pigg of Burleson and Mary Broome of Houston; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were James Rials, Mark Grigsby, Shelby Matlock, Mike Byrn, Mike Broome and Kelly Stevens.
E.L. “Bud” Massey
Services for E.L. “Bud” Massey, 98, of Palestine, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Union Cemetery with the Rev. Lynn Stroud officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Foster & Brown Funeral Home of Athens.
Mr. Massey died Sunday in Palestine.
He was born June 20, 1904, in Navarro County to Joe Massey and Eller Rose.
Mr. Massey was a retired switcher with the Gragg Oil Company. He joined the Freeman Baptist Church of Cayuga in 1930.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Allie Coleson; son, Alfred Massey; daughter, Shirley Massey; and grandchildren, Kenneth Meador and Alfreda Massey.
Mr. Massey is survived by daughters, Wanda Miller of Chandler, Alweldy Meador of Cayuga and Glenda Schitoskey of Montalba; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mark Meador, Craig Schitoskey, Dude Massey, Stevie Quick, Neal Brown and Justin Huddleston.

Buddy Bryan
Services for Buddy Bryan, 73, of Tennessee Colony, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Tennessee Colony Union Church with the Rev. Ken Dotson officiating. Burial will follow in the Tennessee Colony Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mr. Bryan died Sunday at Palestine Regional Medical Center.
He was born May 30, 1929, in Palestine to Reese and Maudie McKinzie Bryan.
Mr. Bryan was a farmer and rancher in Centerville for 30 years and worked as the production superintendent for Mossbacher Oil near Madisonville for 15 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War, 1949-1951. He was a 32nd Degree Mason.
He was preceded in death by son, Billy Tim Bryan, in 1953.
Mr. Bryan is survived by his wife of 50 years, Shirley A. Bryan of Tennessee Colony; son, Bruce Bryan of Georgetown; sister, Joan Link of Tennessee Colony; brothers, James V. Bryan of Cedar Hill; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mike Link, Darwin Link, Oscar Warren, Sam Wayne Leathers, Johnie Gunn, J.M. Boyd and Wayne McInnis.
Honorary pallbearers will be Clayton Roane, Haskell Mitchell and James F. Ray.

Jack Eugene Garrett
Services for Jack Eugene Garrett, 73, of Streetman, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at his daughter’s residence at 458 FM 416 and Spur 190 with Danny Richardson and Nate Hicks officiating. Cremation will follow at Fairway Crematory in Van. Arrangements are under the direction of Capps Memorial Chapel of Fairfield.
Mr. Garrett died Saturday in Streetman.
He was born Dec. 21, 1928, in Corpus Christi.
Mr. Garrett was a retired building contractor and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a Methodist.
He is survived by daughters, Janice Reeves of Streetman, and Elizabeth Joy Wright and Julia Eva Nadaud, both of Baytown; sons, Jay Garrett of Austin and Jarrett Eugene Garrett of Fairfield; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Alice Graham
Services for Alice Graham, 77, of Mesquite, and formerly of Palestine, were held today at Roselawn Park with the Rev. Beverly Tune officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mrs. Graham died Saturday in Presbyterian Hospital in Winnsboro.
She was born Aug. 17, 1924, in Wood County to Julius Admiral Vaughn and Trubie White Vaughn.
Mrs. Graham was a Methodist and an elementary school teacher.
She was preceded in death by husband, Edwin Douglas Graham, in 1981.
Mrs. Graham is survived by cousin, Mary L. Williams of Mesquite.
Dennis R. Stepp
Services for Dennis R. Stepp, 58, of Athens, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Carroll-Springs United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kelly Carnes officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home of Athens.
Mr. Stepp died Saturday in Jacksonville.
He was born Jan. 16, 1944, in Helena, Mont. to V.C. and Leona Teigen Stepp.
Mr. Stepp was a resident of Athens most of his life. He was a member of Carroll Springs United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by son, Danny Reid Stepp.
Mr. Stepp is survived by his wife, Sheila Stepp of Athens; sons, Richard Stepp of LaRue, and David Stepp and Matt Stepp, both of Athens; daughters, Jamie Stepp of Athens and Donna Parrish of Teneha; his parents of Athens; brothers, Kerry Stepp and Shane Stepp, both of Athens, and Danny Stepp of Dallas; sister, Vicky Looney of Myrtle Springs; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Danny Cummings, Tubby Kyle, Ricky Baker, Josh Baker, Antonio Canalas and Ted Adair.
Honorary pallbearers will be Doyle Rogers, Tim Robertson, Donnie Rogers and James “Dutter” Rogers.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Odessa Hall Carr
Services for Odessa Hall Carr, 82, of Fresno, Calif., and formerly of Palestine, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Olive Primitive Baptist Church in Palestine. Burial will follow in the Blackshear Cemetery under the direction of Emanuel Funeral Home.
Mrs. Carr died Aug. 24.
She was born June 22, 1920, in Fort Worth, to Isaiah and Lue Johnson Hall.
Mrs. Carr received her early education at the Lost Prairie and Flint Hill schools. She attended Mount Olive Primitive Baptist Church while in Palestine before joining Living Waters Church of Christ in San Diego, Calif. where she had resided for more than 40 years.
She was often employed as a domestic engineer and a caterer.
Mrs. Carr was preceded in death by her husband, John Ben Carr; and siblings, Melvin Hall, Colley Hall, L.V. Hall, Wilbur Hall, Preston Hall and Bob Hall.
She is survived by brothers, Isaiah Hall and Less Hall, both of Seaside, Calif., and Leo Hall and James Hall, both of Fresno; and sister, Mary Wilson of Fort Worth.
A wake will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Rosie Virginia Davis
Services for Rosie Virginia Davis, 97, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at New Canaan Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Price Cemetery under the direction of Emanuel Funeral Home.
She died Sunday morning at Palestine Healthcare Center.
Mrs. Davis was born June 20, 1905 in Palestine to Gabe and Sarah Price Anderson.
She attended Palestine public schools. She was a lifelong member of New Canaan Baptist Church.
Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Davis; and a sister, Molly Thomas.
She is survived by a daughter, Bonnie Crawford of Austin; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Willie Dell Delane
Services for Willie Dell Russell Delane, 78, of Crockett, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bethel Baptist Church in Crockett. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Emanuel Funeral Home.
Mrs. Delane died Thursday in Crockett.
Known to many as Aunt Pam, Mrs. Delane was born Aug. 11, 1924 in Houston County to Albert and Savannah Gray Russell.
Mrs. Delane attended Crockett public schools. She was a lifelong member of Bethel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, L.J. Warfield and Tennison Delane; a daughter, Carolyn Warfield; and a brother, Albert Russell Jr.
Mrs. Delane is survived by daughters, Lynda Warfield, Veerne Ware, Adie Warfield, Vannie Riley, and Nathaniel Ramsundar; sons, Lyndon Warfield, Jerry Warfield, Richard Warfield and Fredrick Warfield; sisters, Chatherine Moten, Christine Roberts and Dorothy Harris; 23 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
