Greak
Tommy Elwee Greak, 55, of Ames, died Wednesday March 2, 2011 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston.
He was born June 11, 1955 in Liberty Texas to Henry John Greak and Elva Louise Fregia. He was retired from Liberty Independent School District as a maintenance worker and had lived in Ames for about fifty five years and was a member of Central Baptist Church of Daisetta.
Tommy was preceded in by his parents.
He is survived by his brother John Ed Greak and wife Sharon of Ames, nephew J.T. Greak of Ames and numerous family members, and friends.
A service of remembrance will be held Saturday March 5, 2011 at 5:30 P.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services 40847 Hwy 105 E with Reverend Jim VanDorn officiating.
The family will be receiving friends also Saturday March 5, 2011 from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Faith & Family. Cremation to follow service.

Thomas Glenn Thomas, 51, of Beaumont, died Sunday February 27, 2011 at his residence in Beaumont.
A native and life long residence of Beaumont. He is survived by his mother: Isabelle Crawford Grant of Nederland, Step father: Hank Barron of Nederland. Fiance' Rhonda Lynn Waters of Beaumont. Step Daughters: Stephanie and Shelby Johnson both of Beaumont. Brothers: Bryan Grant of Nederland, Ronnie Grant of Silsbee, John Grant of Baytown, Terry Grant of Lumberton. Sister: Lisa Kimbell of Nederland, Five Step Brothers and 1 Step Sister.

Jackson
Sherry Ann “Mia” Jackson, 66, of Dayton, died Sunday, February 22, 2011 at a Houston area hospital.
She was born on January 15, 1945 in Baytown. She was a woman of many talents. She loved to sing and could play numerous instruments including the guitar and the piano. She also enjoyed handicrafts and painting. She was the mother hen who always looked out for everyone. She will truly be missed by those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Moore and her brother, Robert Moore.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Moore; brother, Ron Moore and wife Kim; sister, Beverly Miller; spouse, John Lebrun; children, Robert Jackson and wife Leslie, Jana Travis and husband Kevin, Jason Jackson and wife Carla, Clayton Jackson, Anthony Ray Jackson and wife Rene; stepdaughters, LyNelle Marie LeBrun, Yardley LeBrun and Allyssa Beth LeBrun; 17 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her family will receive friends at Sterling Funeral Home on Friday March 4, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A funeral service is scheduled for Friday March 4, 2011 at Sterling Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Ernest Brown.

Eades
Bobby Ray Eades, 75, of Conroe, died on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Conroe Health Care Center in Conroe. He was a loving, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Funeral Services will be at 12:00 PM on Friday, February 25, 2011 in the Chapel of Sterling Funeral in Dayton. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park cemetery in Dayton. A gathering of Bobby's family and friends will be from 10:00 AM until service time in the Funeral Home.
He was a supervisor in Millwrights and Mason for over35 years. He was preceded in death by parents, and three brothers. Bobby loved camping, sending time with his family, woodworking and being a vendor at Arts and Crafts Shows.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 57 years Dorothy Crisp Eades; daughters, Mary Tune and husband Glen of Shenandoah, TX, Debbie Johnson and husband Chris of Victoria, TX; son, Tony Eades of Texas City, TX; Jason and Kim Petrie of The Woodlands, Misty Johnson of Victoria, Tiffany Johnson of Conroe, and great granddaughter, Madeline Petrie of The Woodlands and nephew, Eric Polasek and brother-in-law, Mike Polasek and a host of other family and friends.

Ileen Wakefield Monk, 56, of Dayton, died Saturday, February 26, 2011, at her residence.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 26, 2011, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Ileen was born November 22, 1954 in Tuscaloosa, AL, was a former resident of Houston, and has resided in the Dayton area for the past 11 years. She was a waitress for a Waffle House Restaurant in Houston, and enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, gardening, playing sports, and collecting.
Mrs. Monk was preceded in death by her mother: Mamie Fant, stepfather: Raymond E. Handy, and brother: Delbert G. Handy. Funeral Services for Lucille Stewart, 86, of Raywood, Texas, will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 11:00 A.M., at St. Miles Missionary Baptist Church, Ames, the Rev. Hurley Clayton, officiating, with burial in Mt. Zion cemetery, Moss Bluff under the direction of Wells Funeral Service, Liberty.
A native of Merryville, Louisiana, died on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Liberty Health Care Center, Liberty.
She is survived by five sons: Harvey Stewart, Jr. of Ames, Willie Earl Stewart, Bobby Steward, Darrell Wayne Stewart, all of Raywood, and Arthur Stewart of Ames; three daughters: Mary Grays of Dayton, Linda Trahan of Baytown, and Gwendolyn Gail Biley of Augusta, Georgia; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Hanchey
Shirley Kay “Katie” Odom Hanchey, 59, of Moss Hill, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, February 24th, 2011. Katie was born February 4, 1952, to parents, Stephen Austin Odom and Bernice Griffin Odom in Dayton, Texas.
Katie had recently resided in Victoria. Katie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter. She loved the simple pleasures in life, such as hunting, fishing and teaching. She was a great cook, and loved to spend time with family and friends. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and her wit.
She is preceded in death by her father, Stephen Austin Odom; son, Corey D. Hanchey; grandchildren, Corey A. Hanchey and Kale McNeely.
She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Donald Hanchey; children, Ra’Gena McNeely and husband Danny, Troy Hanchey and wife Linda, Casey Hanchey and wife Jami Smith; grandchildren, Kayla McNeely Hobson and husband Adam, Kaleb McNeely, Colt Hanchey, Sara Hanchey, Kara Hanchey, Devon Hanchey, Tucker Hanchey, great grandchildren; KayDee Stevens, Hallie Hobson; mother, Bernice Parker and husband Sam; brother, Robert Eugene Langston; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 26, 2011, from 6PM until 8PM, at Allison Funeral Service. The funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Allison Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Gideon Watson. Burial will follow at Moss Hill cemetery.

Jolly
Frances Vyoral Jolly died on February 14, 2011 at the age of 90.
She was born November 20, 1920 to Frank and Julia Vyoral in Waller County. She moved to Dayton, in the Eastgate area, with her family when she was a small child and has lived in the Dayton area ever since. Frances worked for 45 years at Frank’s Café in Dayton and helped her sister with the management of the restaurant. She will be remembered as the friendly and smiling cashier at Frank’s. Frances was a hard worker, clean and organized, enjoyed sewing, and was devoted to her family and friends. She gave of herself unselfishly, and wanted to give rather than receive.
She is survived by her daughter and husband, Laura and Frank Pavlat of Humble, Texas and her four grandchildren: Julie and Scott Sech of Asheville NC, Randy Pavlat, Summer and Chris McKee, and Sam and Denise Pavlat of Humble, Texas. She is also survived by her 6 great grand children: Justin and Jarrett Sech, Luke Pavlat, Chloe and Hudson McKee, and Scott Pavlat and by her 4 step great grand children: Parker and Logan McKee and Morgan and Trent Davis and two sister-in-laws Louise Vyoral and Ruby Vyoral. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers: Frank Mynar, Henry Vyoral and Louis Vyoral. Her sisters: Josephine Vyoral, Hattie Van Zandt, and Vlasta Gajdosik.
Frances, also know as Mimi to her grandchildren, was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved her family unconditionally. She lived her life in a way that set a shining example of how to live life by loving God and family and always treating others by the golden rule.
Her family will receive friends at Sterling Funeral Home of Dayton on Friday, February 18, 2011, at 6:00 p.m. followed by a rosary. A funeral mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Dayton.

Shipman
Ann E. Shipman, 87, of Dayton, died on Tuesday, February 15, 2011.
She was born on March 9, 1923 in Builthwells, Wales. She was very easy going with a quiet demeanor. She was an avid reader. She enjoyed Knitting, working puzzles and painting. She was a longtime member of Trinity Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, Frank Shipman; parents, Alf and Clara Williams.
She is survived by her children, Stewart Shipman and wife Linda of Liberty, Dennis Shipman and wife Sherry of Hardin, Barbara Parker and husband Sam of Woodville, Jim Shipman of Dayton; grandchildren, Jolynn Carrol and husband Terry, Brandon Shipman, Brady Shipman, Garth Parker and wife Tiffany, Rhett Parker, Marla Reed and husband James, Charles Burwick and wife Holley; great grandchildren, Haley Carrol and Tyler Carrol, Brent Shipman and Breanna Shipman, Matthew Shipman, Bleize Parker and Slade Parker, Zachary Reed; sister, Nora Parker and husband Rob.

Haynes
Charley Elton Haynes, 83, of Dayton, died on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 21, 2011 in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton. Interment will follow in Grennville cemetery in Kenefick. A gathering of Charley's family and friends will be from 5:00 to 7:00PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Haynes was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Lucille M. McClendon of Kenefick; parents, Hershel (Red) and Minnie Haynes of Kenefick; grandson, Brett Davis and one brother and two sisters. Retired from Halliburton as a Welder. He served in the U. S. Army as a sergeant during the Korean War.
Charley is survived by his Dorinda Lee Haynes and husband Cowboy of Splendora, Zoetta L.Croft of Liberty, Jody and Larry Penny of Huntsville; 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter; brothers, Ernest and B.G. Haynes; great aunts, Verla and Effie.
Smith
Linda Nell "Lonna" Smith 64, of Liberty, died Monday February 21, 2011 at her residence.
Born in Galveston TX, September 17, 1946 she had lived in Liberty most of her life and was an homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents Martin Luther Land and Bertie Lee Gresham, daughter Joann Jackson and grandson Brent Allen Stuckey.
Survivors are husband George Smith of Liberty, son Albert Jackson Jr and wife Carlene of Liberty, daughters Lisa Stuckey and husband Gary of Dayton, Cheryl Jackson of Pratt Kansas. Brothers Timothy Land and Thomas Land both of Liberty. Sisters Judy Harryman of Liberty, Barbara Thomas of Liberty, Joyce Barnhart of Alabama, Dianna Burch of Liberty. Grandchildren 14 and Great Grandchildren 7.
A service of remembrance will be held Saturday February 26, 2011 at 12:00 noon at Bibleway Pentecostal Church of Liberty with Reverend Adolph Johnson and Reverend Darrell McAdams officiating.
Interment will follow at Hillside cemetery next to the church. The family will be receiving friends also on Saturday February 26, 2011 from 10:00A.M. until service time at the church.
Terrell
Brian Keith “Big Babe” Terrell, 43, of Liberty, died Sunday, February 20, 2011 in Houston after an extended illness.
He was born July 13, 1967 in Liberty, Texas to Linda Faye Terrell and was a lifelong resident of Liberty, a member of Mt. Rose Baptist Church and 1985 graduate of Liberty High School. Brian enjoyed the Dallas Cowboys, crabbing and craw fishing, but most of all being with his friends.
Services for Brian will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 26, 2011, at Mt. Rose Baptist Church in Liberty with Rev. L.C. Spikes officiating. Interment will follow at Well’s cemetery under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton. Visitation will be Saturday morning, 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Rose Baptist Church, Liberty.
Mr. Terrell was preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by son: Alijah Keith Terrell of Liberty; his brothers: Jules “J.T.” Terrell & wife Marena of Raywood, Craig Terrell of Liberty; his sister: Terri Mosley & husband Kevin of Liberty; nieces & nephews: Devon Craig Terrell, Ja’Terrica Tyree Terrell, Ta’Quisha Tache Radford, Na’Mijea Aa’Quie Terrell, and Jules Thaddeus Terrell, Jr., and numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.

Roger Dale "R.D." Fregia, 57, of Hull-Daisetta, died Tuesday February 22, 2011 at The M.D. Anderson Hospital of Houston.
Born in Liberty to John Lewie Fregia and Nellie Mae Lee Roger had lived in Hull-Daisetta for most of his life and was a retired Roughneck for Lynn Company Well Service of Liberty.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Peggy Sue and his parents.
He is survived by his wife Peggy Fregia of Daisetta, daughters Regina Schubert and husband Terry of Snook TX, Raquel Rawlinson and husband Jon of Batson, Amy Lindsey and David Smith of Daisetta, Stephanie Bishop and husband Buddy of Tarkington, and Toni Dale Hilton and husband Bubba of Saratoga. Brothers Curtis Fregia of Hull, Kenneth Fregia of Liberty, John Wayne Fregia also of Hull. Sisters Jane Blackwell of Houma LA, Ollie Hebert of Houma LA, Margaret Leon of Raywood, Peggy Parker of Raywood, Joann Pavliska of Liberty, and Kathy Storey of Houma LA. Grandchildren Bradley Post, Trevor, Tera, Truitt, Myria Shubert, Kathlyn, Jace Rawlinson, Meghan, Mason Bishop, Bryce, Cayden Hilton and Faith Lindsey and Great-grandchild Kyleigh Post.
