Billy John Gall, 62, of Dayton, Texas died Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at his home.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend.
John served in the United States Airforce in the Vietnam War. He was a hard working man in the oilfield industry. He enjoyed car racing, fishing, hunting, and football.
John is preceded in death by his father, John N. Gall and grandson, Cory Burns.
John is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Virginia Gall, daughters; Pam Compston, Johnnie Burns, Grace Boothe, husband Larry, son; John Compston Jr., sisters; Peggy Darby, husband Scott, Pam Halbrook, grandchildren; Herb Jr., Eric, Karessa, Jami, Kimberlie, Dustin, great grandchildren; Herb III, Lucas, Brody, Ethan, Colby, Tyler, Garrett, Kimberjo, Brenna, and a host of other family and friends.
Pall Bearers will be Larry Boothe, Dustin Boothe, John Compston, Jr., Eric Morgan, Herb Morgan, Chris Harlan, Mark Martin, and Brandon (Tertle) Cox.
Funeral Services will be Monday, October 7, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton, Tx. Interment will follow in Jacob-Boothe cemetery. Fuson
Charles R. Fuson, 87, of Anahuac, Texas died Tuesday, October 1, 2013 in Houston, Texas. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.
Charles was born November 11, 1926 in Blackwell, Oklahoma. He was a Navy Veteran and served in WWII. He was an oilman and worked for Exxon his entire life. A long time Deacon in the Baptist Church in Anahuac. Loved his family and enjoyed traveling with his wife Maxine in their RV.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents; Cora & Thomas Fuson, his loving wife Maxine, and his son Danny Fuson.
Charles is survived by his children; Kathy Hurt, Larry Fuson, wife Kathleen, Jimmy Fuson, wife Robin, Holly Crocker, husband Craig, Nancy Whitley, husband Worth, 14 grand children, 7 great grand children, and a host of other family and friends.
A Private Family Graveside Burial will be Saturday, October 5, 2013, at 3:30 P.M. in the Anahuac cemetery. A gathering of Charles' family and friends will be Saturday, October 5, 2013, from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Sterling Funeral Home in Anahuac, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Travis Whitley, Joshua Fuson, Judge Fuson, Jared Fuson, Taylor Fuson, Casey Crocker, and Michael Crocker.
Bennett
Johnny Lee Bennett, 83, of Moss Hill, died Monday September 30, 2013 in Georgetown, TX.
A native of Crockett, TX, he had lived in Moss Hill 44 years. Johnny was a self-employed truck driver, farmer and a big-hearted family man. He was a God-Fearing man and a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Marysee, TX.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eddie Lee Bennett and Paumillia Elizabeth Bennett; wife, Allene Helen Bennett; son, Johnny Lee Bennett, Jr., daughter, Kellie Bennett; sisters, Eltha Pillkington, Marie Benten; nephew, Eddie Ray Pillkington.
He is survived by his daughters Mona Lisa Bennett of Hardin, Hellon Bennett of Batson and Linda Ratzlaff of Round Rock, TX; 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church of Marysee on Thursday October 3, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A service of remembrance is scheduled for Thursday October 3, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church of Marysee, officiated by Reverend Carlton Bailey. Internment will follow at Moss Hill cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Eric Bennett, Robert Whiddon, Cory Ratzlaff, Jonathan Ratzlaff, Lalo Triston and Jim VanDorn. Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Goff and Tom White.

Ugarte
Shariana Alejandra Ugarte, 13 months, died Monday, September 30, 2013 at Hermann Memorial Hospital in Houston, Texas with her family by her side.
Shariana was a very active little girl that loved to explore, fight with her brother and uncles, and get her way. Enjoyed eating and would dance while she ate, loved being held, and was quite the showgirl, blocking the TV so everyone could see her. Always carried her toy monkey and purple binki. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her and loved her so much.
Shariana is preceded in death by her Grandfather Cornelio Jaimez.
Shariana is survived by her parents; Mayra and Ambrocio Ugarte, brother; Rhonnal Ugarte, aunt; Jeanette Jaimez, uncles; Jared and Kelvin Ugarte, and a host of other family and friends.

John A. “Jake” Nicol, 42, of Dayton, died Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 5, 2013, at the Scholobohn cemetery in Humble with burial following thereafter. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Jake was born February 20, 1971 in Houston, to parents; John L. and Connie J. Menning Nicol, and has resided in the Dayton area throughout his life. He was a graduate of the Tarkington High School class of 1990, a pipefitter by trade, and attended Grace Community Church. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing video games. Mr. Nicol was preceded in death by his father: John L. Nicol, mother: Connie J. Menning Nicol, and brothers: Ronald and Donald Nicol. He is survived by his sons: John A. Nicol, II, Jacob Nicol, and Jared Nicol, sisters: Tawnee Jowell and husband Stuart, Bonnie Dawken, and Lawnee Ara and husband Jamie, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Hatcher
Chance Lynn Hatcher, 23, of Saratoga, Texas, died on Saturday September 28, 2013.
Chance was preceded in death by his mother; Cathryn Denette Tomlinson.
He is survived by his father and stepmother Tracy and Mary Hatcher of Mt. Belview, Texas; sisters Kayla Whisler of Saratoga, Texas and Ashley Hatcher of Gonzales, Louisiana. Grandparents are Shirley King of Lumberton Texas and Kenneth Hatcher of Saratoga, Texas. Great grandmother is Dora Wiggins of Batson, Texas niece Glynna Michelle Whisler, of Saratoga, Texas, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of loving friends.
A service of remembrance will be held on Wednesday October 2, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services Chapel in Batson, with Reverend Tolbert Hudspeth, officiating. Interment will follow at William Hart cemetery in Kountze, Texas. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday October 1, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. also at Faith & Family . Bertha LeJuene “Bert” Chaumont, age 85 of Liberty, died September 29, 2013 in Liberty, TX with her loving family by her side.
Bert was born on August 17, 1928 in Eunice, Louisiana, daughter of the late Ollie LeJuene and Cammie Guillory LeJuene. She attended Eunice High School in Louisiana and was self-employed in the jewelry and shore industry. Bert and her late husband, Huey, opened Chaumont’s Shoes in 1962 and then later opened the Gold Nugget in 1982. Bert loved to travel with Huey and enjoyed dancing and gardening.
Bert was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Adam Huey Chaumont, son: David Chaumont, brother; Dewey LeJuene, sisters; Irene Bossley and Mollie Hummel. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, granddaughters; Kayla Chaumont of Liberty, TX, Kristin Chaumont of Austin, TX, sister; Helen Joffrion of Louisiana, and brother; Bobby LeJuene of Beaumont, TX. The family would also like to thank Linda Durio and Kristal Minix for the love and care that they provided for Bert for the past several months.
Services for Bertha “Bert” Chaumont will be Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at 10am at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 North Travis, Liberty, TX with burial to follow at Palms Memorial Park in Dayton. Visitation will be one hour prior to service from 9am to10am.
Wiggins
Peggy Geraldine “Jerry” Wiggins age 85 died at her home Monday September 30, 2013.
Jerry was born in Batson, Texas January 19, 1928 the daughter of the late James Thomas Doucette Sr. and Carmen Naomi Ratcliff Doucette. Jerry first went to work for Southwestern Bell as a telephone operator; she later went on, to be the bookkeeper, treasurer, and co-owner of Albert F. Wiggins CO. Inc. She later went on to work as the office manager at Allison Funeral Service. She was devoted to her church, Heights Baptist; she was a Sunday School Teacher as well as the treasurer for many years. She also was a pack leader for the Cup Scouts Pack#55 and was the treasurer for the Trinity River Valley Baptist Association.
She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband, Albert F. Wiggins, daughter Peggy Diane Wiggins, brother James Thomas Doucette Jr., and two sisters Bobbie Wiggins and Ercelle Fox.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons; Albert Wiggins and wife Glennann, Craig Wiggins and wife Suzanne, Sisters; Evelyn Allen and Sue Heinze and husband Wayne. In addition she leaves six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation for Jerry will be held Tuesday Oct. 1, 2013 from 5-8PM at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N. Travis Liberty, Texas. A funeral service will be held at 2PM Wednesday at Heights Baptist Church with burial to follow in Fairlawn Memorial cemetery. A special thank you to Craig, Rena, Christy, and Ruth of Professional Home Health and Hospice as well as her caregiver Carol Clary.

Linda Jean Parrish 67, of Moss Hill, Texas, died Sunday September 29, 2013, at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital of Baytown.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday October 1, 2013 at 12:00 Noon at Moss Hill cemetery of Moss Hill with Reverend Dick Lintleman of North Main Baptist Church officiating. The family will be receiving friends also on Tuesday October 1, 2013 from 10:00A.M. until 11:00A.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services of Batson.
Linda was a homemaker and owner and operator with her husband, Chubby, of Chubbys Packing Company of Moss Hill. Linda was a member of North Main Baptist Church of Liberty. She was preceded in death by her parents; Hulen Jones and Thelma Wingate Jones, son; Johnny Melton and sister; Helen Brown.
Survivors are her husband of 42 years, Aubrey "Chubby" Parrish, of Moss Hill. Sons; Cody Parrish and wife, Angie, of Moss Hill, Kyle Melton and wife, Kenya, of Brandenburg, Kentucky. Daughter In - Law, Tina Melton, of Liberty, and half - brother, Eddie Jones, of Highlands. Grandchildren are Jaden and Jacee Parrish, Matthew, Sydney and McKenzie Melton. Larry "Pippie" Mitchell, 71, died September 22, 2013 in Houston, Texas.
There will be a visitation on Friday, September 27, 2013 from 1:00 pm-6:00 pm at Wells Funeral Service Chapel in Liberty, Texas.
Funeral will be Saturday, September 28, 2013 . He will lie in state from 10:00 am -11:00 am at Trinity Valley Baptist Church at 801 Sam Houston in Liberty, Texas with funeral service to begin at 11:00 am with Pastor Marvin Etheridge officiating.
Interment will be at Wells Memorial cemetery, Liberty, Texas.

William R. “Bill” Wardlaw, 87, of Dayton, died Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at the San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, September 27, 2013, at the Palms Memorial Park cemetery, with burial following thereafter. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Bill was born August 1, 1926 in Pontotoc, Mississippi, to parents Fletcher and Maddie Redell Wardlaw. He was a former resident of Baytown and has resided in Dayton since 1976. He retired from Standard Dredging where he worked as a Steam Engineer. He also had worked at Furrow’s Lumber in Baytown and Peoples Building Center in Dayton. Bill enjoyed gardening, animals and most of all loved being with his family.
Mr. Wardlaw was preceded in death by parents, his wife of 47 years: Altha Mae Paul Wardlaw, his son: David Lee Wardlaw, his daughter: Louticia Filla; two sisters and four brothers. He is survived by his son: William R. “Bill” Wardlaw and wife Carol of Dayton and Jeff Wardlaw and wife Tammy of Dallas, daughter: Janie Gray and husband Bill of Dayton; grandchildren: Laura Halter, Sabrina Wardlaw, Robert Filla and wife Michaela, David Filla and wife Johanna, Travis Wardlaw and wife Laura and Paul Wardlaw; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Carlvin J. “C. J.” Breaux, Sr., 71, of Dayton, died Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at the Liberty-Dayton Community Hospital in Liberty. Graveside services will be held at 11:15 a.m., Friday, September 27, 2013, at the Houston National cemetery with burial following thereafter. Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., Friday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. C. J. was born June 24, 1942 in Pasadena, to parents; Elmore and Menia Meloncon Breaux, a former resident of Houston, and has resided in Dayton for the past 34 years. He was a graduate of the Fidelity High School, veteran of the US Army, and retired owner of C. J. Breaux Auto Service. He enjoyed playing the harmonica, barbecuing, fishing, hunting, gardening, raising chickens. Mr. Breaux was preceded in death by his father: Elmore Breaux, mother: Menia Meloncon Breaux, and an infant sister: Elnora Breaux. He is survived by his wife of 42 years: Ligaya Johnson Breaux, daughters: Shane E. Johnson of Dallas and Mary Lou Johnson of Dallas, sons: Anthony Q. Cynthia Nell Hatcher Chiles 62 of Saratoga, Texas, died Sunday September 22, 2013 at Harbor Hospice of Beaumont, Texas after a short illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Hatcher and Doris Ryan Hatcher Netrow; and her husband Bill Chiles. She is survived by two sons; Bill Jarrod Chiles and his wife Brandi of Vidor, Will Cribbs of San Diego, CA. She is also survived by her step-mother Joyce Hatcher Esclovon of Kountze, Texas; brother Jim and Cindy Hatcher of Andalusia, Alabama Terry Hatcher and wife Michelle of Kingston, Alabama. Sister Melissa Beard and husband Darrell of Vidor, Texas. Cynthia also left two best friends, Linda and Minnie and a huge host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Betty Soileau Cline, 58, of Hankamer, Texas, passed away Monday, September 23, 2013, at her home.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Betty was a very devote Christian. She was a member of the Sweet Home Baptist Church in Hankamer, Texas where she taught Sunday School for over 25 years. She worked for a day care, teaching children bible verses and nursery rhymes. Her day care family knew her as BeBe. Betty also worked in the cafeteria for many years at Anahuac High School and the Middle School. Very outspoken, never met a stranger and was always the person that would visit people in the hospital for births or sickness, attended all the football games as well as other sports. She was always on the go, loved to shop, and enjoyed crafts of all kinds. She was a devoted wife, mother, and Maw Maw, and most importantly Faithful to her Lord. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents; Elby and Clifford Soileau, and her mother and father-in-law; Robert and Mary Cline.
Betty is survived by her husband of 33 years, Jonnye Cline, daughters; Stacey Majors, husband Lance, JoBeth Barron, husband Bobby, Bridget Stinson, Melinda Szymborski, husband Robbie, Jennifer Gilbert, husband Dereck, Jodie Cline, Michael Morris, brothers; Daniel Soileau, wife Alicia, Stanford Soileau, wife Linell, sister; Anna Payne, husband Arthur, Twenty grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
