Charles Aaron Glass, 77, a resident of Dayton, Texas died Wednesday February 5, 2014.
Charles Glass survived by his wife Ann Glass 3 children Randy Glass, Leesa Glass, Toni Glass and 13 grandchildren. Charles Glass was a loving respected generous man that was much loved and will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends and family at Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton from 5-8 P.M. on Monday February 10, 2014.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Community Christian Church, 5445 CR 1409, Dayton, with Pastor Jose Flores officiating with refreshments at 11AM.
Interment will follow in Palms Memorial Park.
Pereira
Jami Lynn Pereira, 47, of Hankamer, died Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at her residence.
She was born June 17, 1966 in Walnut Creek, California to James and Bonnie Jenkins.
Jami enjoyed drawing, writing poetry and was of the Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by her daughter Teara Adams, of Crosby; son Jack Wade Adams, of Texas City; mother Bonnie Jenkins, of Hankamer; brother James C. Jenkins and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Lemelle
Lionel Marmon Lemelle age 68 of Liberty died Tuesday at Memorial Herman Hospital.
Lionel was born October 20, 1945 in Leonville, LA the son of the late Joseph Lionel Lemelle and Cecilia Auzenne Lemelle. Lionel worked for many years as an electrician for numerous companies. He volunteered as a Troop Leader for the Boy Scouts, Ames Easter Rodeo, and the Ames Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of the St. Miles Men’s Prayer Group, Our Father’s House Church, and the Republic of Texas. Lionel also served in the US Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam Era. He had a heart as big as Texas and would do anything for anybody. He loved everybody and never met a stranger, and he had accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his son Jason Lemelle.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Anna Lemelle, sons; Samuel, Lionel Joseph, John, and Scott Lemelle, brothers; Victor, Jesse, John, Joseph, Jude, and Leon Lemelle, sisters; Angelina Papillion, Mable Sam, and Gail Thierry, honorary daughter Tiffany Calhoun, grandchildren; Alexius Masters, D.J. Lemelle, Aaliyah Lemelle and Skylar Lemelle. In addition he leaves a host of nieces and nephews and other close friends and relatives. Lionel will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A visitation will be held Friday, February 7, 2014 from 6-9 P.M. at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N. Travis Liberty, Texas. A funeral service will be held 11AM Saturday February 8, 2014 at Cornerstone Church, Liberty, Texas with burial to follow in Palms Memorial Park.
Warren
Lois Ann Jacobs Warren, 92, of Anahuac, Texas died Friday, January 31, 2014.
She was born March 13, 1921 in Goodrich, Texas to Arthur and Martha Jacobs. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Anahuac.
Mrs. Warren and her late husband Voygt Warren owned and operated Voygt’s Variety Store in Anahuac, Liberty, Dayton and Highlands for over 32 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband Voygt Warren, two sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by her daughter Viviann Boyer and husband Kevin, of Wallisville, Tx.; grandchildren Katie Leister and husband Brandon, of Buckeye, Az., Calli Bitner and husband Eric, of Weslaco, Tx., Morgan Boyer and Mason Boyer, both of Anahuac, Tx.; great grandchildren Theodore Bitner, Ainsley Bitner, Addison Bitner, Leyton Leister and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation with the family will be on Saturday, February 8, 2014, from 8:00AM until 9:00AM at the First United Methodist Church, 204 Trinity St., Anahuac, Texas where funeral services will be conducted at 9:00AM.
Interment will follow in Anahuac cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist of Anahuac, 204 Trinity St., Anahuac, Texas 77514.

Larrison
Leslie “Bubby” E. Larrison, 54, of Hankamer, died Friday, January 31, 2014.
Bubby was born September 10, 1959 in Huntsville, Texas to Jeff and Carolyn Larrison. Bubby was preceded in death by his mother Carolyn Larrison and grandmother Mary Crawford and mother and father in law Glen and Pauline Fuller.
Bubby was Co-Owner of Cain’s Welding Service. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his two grandson’s. He also enjoyed gardening and hunting with friends. He also loved spending time on the family’s farm and helping his Daddy around his home. He loved helping others in need. He was also a member of the First United Methodist Church of Anahuac.
Bubby is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Kathy Larrison, of Hankamer; daughter: Shelly Riley and husband Billy, of Conroe Tx. Grandmother Evie Larrison Wooten, of Huntsville, TX . Father Jeff Larrison, of Phelps Tx, Brother Larry Larrison and Wife M.J, of Cleburne Tx, and sister Cissy Larrison, of Anahuac Tx. Grandson’s PVC Brett Fregia, of Colorado Springs, CO, and Harley McBride, of Conroe Tx. Also numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
A visitation with the family will be on Friday, February 7, 2014, from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Sterling Funeral Home, Anahuac, Texas.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 8, 2014, at 1:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church, 204 Trinity St., Anahuac, Texas with Rev. Len Shoemaker and Rev. Kelly Krone officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Artus Standley, Mark Hopson, Richard Cain, Sam Pate, Carl Aplin, and Ronnie Patterson.

Abbott
Santina Anna “Sancy” Abbott age 63 of Liberty passed away Monday February 3, 2014 in Liberty.
Santina was born in Tripoli, Libya November 1, 1950 the daughter of the late Luigi Antonio Uras and Benedetta Chirchillo Uras. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending her church Maple St. Church of Christ. She worked for fifteen years as a guard at the Liberty County Jail.
Santina leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter Tonya Kasper and husband Gary, son Mark Pemberton, daughter Maryann Ezell and husband Justin, sister Luisa Ward, ex-husband Everett Abbott III, and stepson Everett Abbott IV. In addition she leaves her grandchildren Adrian Garcia, Annabella Garcia, Kaden Ezell, Lily Pemberton, and Samantha Thompson, three nieces and a nephew.
She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. A funeral service will be held 2 P.M. Friday February 7, 2014 at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N. Travis Liberty, Texas with visitation to be held one hour prior. Burial will be held privately.
Summers
Sondra Kay Summers, 54, of Hardin, died Sunday February 2, 2014 at the Beaumont Baptist Hospital with close family gathered at her side.
She was born July 27, 1959, in Conroe, TX to Rayvon Percy Thomas and Frances Amanda Watts. Sondra entered in holy matrimony with Edward Summers on December 2, 1983 and enjoyed over 30 joyous years of marriage. She worked outside the home and then later returned to the job she really loved, being a homemaker and raising up her four children. She loved to cook and everyone knew what a great cook she was. She had a heart of gold and loved to help anyone in need and never hesitated when called upon. She loved spending time with and doing for her family, she always went above and beyond. She was an amazing wife, an amazing Momma, and a wonderful Mimi.
She is preceded in death by her biological father, Rayvon Percy Thomas; brother, James Falls.
She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Ed "Flupe" Summers of Hardin; parents, Kenneth and Frances Watts of Hardin; children, Amanda Ballard and husband Seth of Baytown, Chrissy Watson and husband Troy of Katy, Mary Summers of Hardin, Jack Summers of Hardin; grandchildren, Cory Earnest, Landon Earnest and Brayson Earnest all of Baytown, Aden Watson and Lane Watson of Katy; siblings, Lisa Gahan of Cleveland, Brenda Burnett and husband Marvin of Kountze, Gaila Smith and husband Brandt of Arkansas, Karen Waters and husband Ron of College Station, Loretta Daniels of Colorado and Bruce Watts and wife Robbie of Montgomery.

Barbara Ann Ballard 72 of Daisetta, TX died on Saturday February 1, 2014.
A service or remembrance will be held on Thursday February 6, 2014 at 10:00A.M. at the Pentecostal Tabernacle church located on FM 2830 N. Liberty, Texas with Pastor Carolyn "Sue" Hendrix officiating. Interment will follow at the Hardin, chapel cemetery. The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday February 5, 2014 beginning at 5:00P. M. also at the church.
Barbara was born September 5, 1941 in Liberty, to her parents Tennie Dagle and Betty Fregia. She had lived in Daisetta, and was an homemaker and a member of the Pentecostal Tabernacle church in Liberty.
She was preceded in death by her parents, also her husband; Donald Ballard, brothers; James Foster Dagle, Joseph Wilson Dagle, Eule Dagle, Velia Lee Dagle Whitmire, sisters; Betty Joyce Dagle, Mary Christine Dagle, and Rose Ella Proctor.
Survivors are sons; Joseph Ballard and wife Monica of Daisetta, LeeRoy Ballard of Daisetta, Aaron Ballard of Cheyenne, WY. Brother Tennie Dagle and wife Ella of Liberty, sister; Ellen Gaston James of Hull, Norma Fontenot of Liberty. Brother-in-law; Tex Procter of Saratoga, grandchildren; are Mikael, Mallori, Cordell, Cody, Betty Ann, Chelsea, and Dakota, and five great grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers are Joseph Ballard, Dakota Ballard, Aaron Ballard, Mikael Ballard, Betty Ann Ballard, Larry Fontenot, and Allen Collette. Honorary pallbearer is Cody Ballard.

Richter
E. R. “Sonny” Richter, Jr., 74, of Dayton, died Saturday, February 1, 2014, at the Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at the First Baptist Church with burial following at the Magnolia Park cemetery in Dayton. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Sonny was born November 11, 1939 in Liberty, to parents; Dr. E. R. Richter and Alphene Paden Richter, and has been a lifelong resident of Dayton. He was a graduate of the Dayton High School class of 1957, attended Baylor University, and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Science from the University of Houston. Upon graduation, Sonny returned to Dayton and joined his brother-in-law at the family pharmacy where they worked side by side for the next 25 years. Sonny was a member of the First Baptist Church, Magnolia Ridge Country Club, Dayton Masonic Lodge #825, the Texas Pharmaceutical Association, the American Pharmaceutical Association, DeMolay, and Shriners. He was a member of Dayton I.S.D. School Board for nine years in which he held all positions including President. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, wood working, playing tennis and golf.
Mr. Richter was preceded in death by his father: Dr. E. R. Richter, mother: Alphene Paden Richter, sister: Margel A. Richter Monahan, nephew: Roland Scott Roberts, parents-in-law: Bertha and Drue McGinty, and brother-in-law: Drue McGinty, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Tish McGinty Richter of Dayton, daughter: Robyn Richter Kline and husband Allyn of Dayton, son: E. R. “Bubba” Richter, III and wife Nancy of Dayton, grandchildren: Matt Kline and wife Megan, Hunter Richter, Chris Conner and Jenn, niece: Kristi Schuepbach and husband Ken, nephews: Rusty Roberts, Jim McGinty and wife Kerri, great-nephews: Drue McGinty, Max McGinty, Jack Schuepbach, and Roland Roberts, also many other relatives and friends.

John David Cook, Jr., 52, of Baytown, died Thursday December 26, 2013.
He was a rock collector. He loved to rebuild muscle cars from the ground up. He also collected and restored antique guns. He enjoyed all types of music and he would sing karaoke to Dierks Bentley songs.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph and Allie Wilson and aunt, JoAnn Bromley.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carmel Cook of Baytown; daughters, Taylor Cook of Austin and Lauren Robinson of San Diego, CA; father, John Cook, Sr. and wife Terri of Zachary, LA; mother, Helen Jewel Michael and husband Thomas of Moss Hill; brothers, Joseph Cook and wife April of Dayton, Jerry Cook and wife Janeth of Geismar, LA and Robert Cook and wife Mally of Tomball; sister, Julie Cook and partner Julie Birner of Magnolia; brothers-in-law, Jim Shanley and wife Lonika of Houston and Mike Shanley of Huffman; sister-in-law, Gayla Shanley of Austin; uncle, Jerry Wilson of Hardin; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sisk
Clyde Hollis Sisk Jr. age 66 died Friday December 27, 2013 in Houston.
Clyde was born in San Antonio, Texas December 15, 1947 the son of the late Clyde Hollis Sisk Sr. and Audrey Mae Stephenson Sisk. He was a tender hearted man who always s put others first. He worked for numerous years as an ambulance driver for Northwest Ambulance as well as drove a cab. A member of the Texas State Guard, he also was a veteran serving in the US Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as a brother Alva Paul Sisk Sr.
He leaves behind his brothers; David Norman Sisk Sr. and Stephen Sisk as well as a host of nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11AM Thursday Jan 2, 2014 at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N. Travis Liberty, Texas with a visitation to be held one hour prior to the service, burial to follow in Fairlawn cemetery.
