Bruce
Linda Gail (Crocker) Bruce age 69 of Devers died Saturday May 16, 2015 in Liberty.
Linda was born February 15, 1946 in Haworth, Oklahoma the daughter of the late Dennis Crocker and Pearl May Calaway Crocker. Linda was a great story teller who always enjoyed a good laugh. She cared deeply for her family and friends. She enjoyed crocheting, writing poetry, and canning her vegetables. Linda received an Associate’s Degree from Harford Community College in Maryland, where she also had a small business as a picture framer prior to moving to Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Roy Gene Bruce, sister Anita Long Hartrick, brothers; Amos Floyd and James Long, and a niece Kayla Floyd.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons; Mark Bruce and Michael Bruce, daughter Merry Bruce, her adopted grandsons Robert Bruce and Roy Bruce, sisters; Peggy Floyd, Kathy Floydene Collier and husband Kenneth, Julie Hubley and husband Mike, brother Danny Crocker and wife Shirley, and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services for Linda will be held 2 P.M. Wednesday May 20, 2015 at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N. Travis Liberty, Texas. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial to take place in Rice Belt cemetery.
Mershon
Francis "Frank" Mershon 52 of Liberty, died on Wednesday May, 13, 2015 at Magnolia Place Health Care in Liberty.
A native of Germany, he had lived in Liberty most of his life and was a self employed carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Marshall and sister Patricia Edmonds.
Survivors are brother Robert Mershon of Beaumont; sisters Melonie Burgess and husband George of Liberty, and Melody Mershon of Colorado.

Millard
Justin Edward Millard 72 of Hull, died Thursday May 14, 2015 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
A service of remembrance will be held on Sunday May, 17, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Faith & Family Chapel with Reverend Frank Aragon officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Moss Hill cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends on Saturday May 16, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Faith & Family.
A native of Liberty, he had lived in the Liberty, county area for many years before settling in Hull.
He was a retired truck driver for A.P.F. of Galena Park.
Mr. Millard was preceded in death by his parents, William Charles Millard and Bessie Burks. Sisters, Linda Jean Eagen, Shirl Diane Mays, and Essie Mae Hendricks.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Joyce Marie Tanner Millard of Hull; daughter Cristal Marie Milstead and husband Lesly of Hull; brothers Raymond Charles Millard of Beaumont, and sister Clara Ann Segovia and husband Joe of Shepherd.
Grandsons are Nash Anthony Milstead and Justin Drake Milstead both of Hull, and numerous nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and grand nephews.
Serving as pallbearers are Jimmy Wells, Grant Wells, James Cantrell, Joseph Segovia, Junior Segovia, and Derek Hinson.

Bowden
Glenn Bowden of Webster, TX died surrounded by family on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 due to complications of leukemia. He was 66 years old.
Glenn was born on June 7, 1948 in Pasadena, TX to his parents, Elmore and Gladys Bowden. He graduated from Pasadena High School in 1966 and from the University of Houston in 1970 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. He served in the U. S. Air Force before working in retail management and becoming a self-employed computer programmer. After retirement, he continued work as a sales representative for Hewlett-Packard.
Glenn was an accomplished, self-taught musician who enjoyed jammin’ with his friends Joe Schaub, Jay White and Mike Henry. He also created and recorded his own original works and had a music collection audiophiles would envy. A proud Mensa member, Glenn was a witty, intelligent person who loved all things entertainment and held passionate values and views of the world.
Glenn is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Bill Gardner of Tyler, TX; his niece and nephew, Rachel and Jacob Gardner of Tyler, TX; his cousin, Evelyn Levine of Victoria, TX; and his friends, Leah and David Orth of Baton Rouge, LA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmore and Gladys Bowden of Pasadena, TX and his aunt, Edith Flynn of Liberty, TX.
A funeral for Glenn will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton, TX. A viewing will precede the service at 1:00 pm, and his burial will be held at Linney cemetery immediately following services. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Glenn’s life. The pallbearers will be Bill Gardner, Jacob Gardner, Joe Schaub, Ryan Schaub, and Jay White. Mike Henry will be an honorary pallbearer.
The family would especially like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center who showed such care and compassion throughout Glenn’s treatment.

Anderson C. Searles, 67, of Liberty, Texas died on May 8, 2015 in Baytown, Texas.

Opal Maxine Ray 88 of Cleveland, formerly of Liberty, died on Monday May, 11, 2015 at Winter Haven Hospice Center in Houston.
A service of remembrance will be held on Thursday May, 14, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Faith & Family Chapel with Reverend Woody Sonnier officiating. Interment will follow at East River Baptist Church cemetery in New Caney.
The family will be receiving friends also on Thursday May 14, 2015 from 10:00A.M. until time of service.
A native of Liberty. she had lived in the Cleveland, Conroe, and Liberty, area for a number of years and was an homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lee Ray, son, Tommie Jackson. Daughter Betty McCann. Sisters, Cupie Cornelius, Nadine Ross, and Jewel Payne, and brother E.B. Young.
Survivors are daughter Emma Coogler of Cleveland, granddaughter Angela Malone and husband George of Cleveland, and son-in-law Kenneth McCann of New Caney. Also a very special friend and care giver Nancy Burny of Tarkington Prairie.
Grandchildren are Michael Owens, Bubba Owens, and Tommie Owens. Great grandchildren; 8.

Khan
Dianne Louise Dahl Khan 67 of Liberty, died on Friday May, 8, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her many loving friends and family.
A native of Mt. Vernon, WA, she had lived in Richmond, VA, a number of years befor moving to Liberty. She had earned her Masters Degree in Education and was an Educational Diagnostician with Galena Park I.S.D.
She was preceded in death by her mother Janese Dahl and brother Jeffrey Dahl.
Survivors include daughter, Jodi and Keith Vinson and girls Rebekah and K'lynn of Friendswood; brothers Lester Dahl and wife Terri of Seattle, WA, Richard Young of Baytown, and Jay Willis of Dover, Ohio.
Sisters, Kathy Billington of Seattle, WA, Freida Young and Brenda Young both of Liberty. Niece's Julie Dahl, Crystal and Alysha.
Grandchildren are Wesley Ard, Tommy Kerry and wife Christy of Dayton, great grandchildren Mason, Maddie, Dakota, and Delana and also numerous extended family.
A service of remembrance will be held on Monday April, 11, 2015 at 4: 00 P.M at Faith & Family Chapel. A private interment will be held at Hardin Chapel cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends on Monday April, 11, 2015 from 3: 00 P.M. until service time.

Beverly
Betty Green Beverly was born on February 4, 1938, to Winfred and Theresa Green in Houston, Texas.
She was married
to John William Beverly on July 15, 1955, to that unity was four children.
She enjoyed all family gatherings most of all she enjoyed her great grandchildren; Corey and Honesty Marie.
Preceded her in death was a son: Darryl Beverly.
She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters: Jayne (Curtis) Butler, Jan Fontenot; one son: John (Kathy) Beverly; one granddaughter: Kimberly, grandson: Josha; one great granddaughter: Kennedy; also nieces, nephew, friends and relatives.
