Weaver
Harry Joe Weaver, 89, died Wednesday, December 02, 2015 in Liberty.
Services for Mr. Weaver will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton with Rev. Bobby Lawrence and Rev. Brandon Williams officiating. Music will be provided by the Bethel Singers. Interment will follow at Fairlawn cemetery in Liberty. Visitation for Mr. Weaver will be at 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday evening at the funeral home. Pallbearers are grandsons and great grandsons, Eddie Hector, Justin Hector, Marcus Weaver, William Hector, Matthew Meade, Jordan Norris and Tyler Norris. Honorary Justin Hector, Jonathan Hector, and Chase Flemming.
He was born July 19, 1926 in Biardstown, Lamar County, Texas to parents, William and Sadie Weaver.
Harry had a good life. He enjoyed many things especially his family and Bessie, his wife. He was an ordained Assembly of God minister. His greatest joy was walking side by side with God serving in the ministry including pastoring seven churches, evangelizing throughout Oklahoma and Texas. Harry greatly enjoyed doing missionary work along the Amazon River in Brazil establishing and building many churches as well as establishing a Bible college to train native ministers. He often said that he “had a great desire to lay sheaves at the Master’s feet.” He enjoyed other professions before and during his ministry including working as a skilled machinist using very small tolerances and exotic metals for the space program. He owned a construction business where he designed and built houses.
Harry was preceded in death by daughter, Barbara LaVonne Hector of Dayton, Texas; parents, William and Sadie Weaver, sisters, Juanita Weaver, Suzi Ann Weaver and Catherine Florene Stewart; and brother Melvin Leo Weaver all of Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife of over seventy years, Bessie Weaver; son-in-law, Eddie Hector of Dayton, Texas; daughter, Sandra Ling and husband Terry of China, Texas; son, Michael Weaver and fiancé Cheryl Welch of Porter; one sister, Rachel Webb and husband Walter of Amarillo, Texas; brother, Kenneth Weaver and wife Donna of Farris, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, Karen Springer and husband Kevin of Conroe, Eddie Hector and wife Virginia of Dayton, Sheila Meade and husband Tim of Kingwood, Angela Norris and husband James of Hardin, Justin Hector of Houston, Marcus Weaver and wife Julie of Batson, Christy Sloane and husband Scott of Porter, Misti LaBorde and husband Brian of Buda, Lindsi Fleming and husband Lee of Liberty; 12 great grandchildren, William Hector, Matthew Meade and wife Natalie, Kati Hill and husband Tony, Kayla Springer, Taylor Dooley and husband Billy, Kaitlin Springer, Jordan Norris, Tyler Norris, Justin Hector, Jonathan Hector, Chase Fleming and Jayda Hector; three great-great grandchildren, Sophia Meade, Madilynn Hill and Sawyer Meade; eight step-grandchildren, Tommy, Regina, Renee, Katherine, Casey, Alivia, Stormy and Haley; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Pinnock
Ron R. “Pop” Pinnock, a.k.a. Superman, 78, of Dayton, died peacefully Thursday, November 26, 2015, at the San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will take place in Pennsylvania, close to many of his family and friends. Local arrangements are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Ron was born October 11, 1937 in Ridley, Pennsylvania, to parents; Robert and Ethel Corkadel Pinnock, was a former resident of Huffman, and has resided in Dayton for the past 12 years. He served in the US Navy from July 16, 1957 to April 23, 1963 as an Aviation Structural Hydraulics Mechanic in the All Weather Fighter Squadron Four and was a helicopter mechanic for Boeing Vertol repairing Chinooks during the Vietnam War. Prior to retiring he was employed by Eastern Airlines as a ramp serviceman. He also enjoyed games of all kinds including; pinochle, dominoes, Yahtzee, and poker. His strength, vibrant sense of humor, strong moral compass, love for and dedication to his friends and family were admired by all who knew him. Pop earned his nickname “Superman” by surviving countless life threatening situations and illnesses, proving that he was made of steel.
Mr. Pinnock was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Robert and Richard, and sister: Rose Marie.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years: Barbara Jean Stephens Pinnock, his children: Ronald Pinnock and wife Alicia of North Carolina, Stephanie Rosier and husband Shannon of Atascocita, Dawn Fenstermacher and husband Ray of Pennsylvania, and Jennifer Senyk of Atascocita, sister: Ethel Mae Lewis and husband Charles of Delaware, grandchildren: Ryan and Corinne Pinnock, Melissa and Colton Rosier, Benjamin Fenstermacher, Nicole Lehotay, Joseph Wreyford, Jr., and Zachary Tice, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Green
Jay Len “B.J.” Green, III, 44, of Tarkington Prairie, died Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at the Cleveland Emergency Hospital in Cleveland.
Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
B.J. was born November 18, 1971 in Conroe, to parents; Jay Len Green, Jr. and Kathryn Clark, a former resident of Baytown, and has resided in Tarkington Prairie for the past 16 years. He was a heavy equipment mechanic for Smart Materials and attended the New Work Family Worship Center. He also enjoyed fishing, welding, and riding motorcycles.
Mr. Green was preceded in death by his brothers: Joe Jones and Wesley Cryer. He is survived by his wife of 20 years: Christie Wells Green of Tarkington Prairie, children: Derick Parsons of Tarkington Prairie, Samantha Green of Conroe, Cody Parsons of Tarkington Prairie, Micheal Green of Tarkington Prairie, and Alyssa Green of Alvin, father: Jay Len Green, Jr. of Dayton, mother: Kathryn Clark Davis and husband Micheal of Tarkington Prairie, brother: Murphy Green and wife Billie of Dayton, sister: Tonya Collins and husband Milton of Dayton, grandchildren: Jin Bens and Tristan Parsons, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Luna
Dawna Lynn Luna, 45, of Humble, died Friday, November 27, 2015, in Houston.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Palms Memorial Park in Dayton. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Dawna was born January 3, 1970 in Edinburg, to parents; A. Benito and Gloria Fry Luna, a former resident of Huffman, and has resided in Humble for the past six years. She was a graduate of the High School for Performing Arts and received her bachelor’s degree from Rice University. Dawna was an architect, member of Grace Church, and an avid dog rescue volunteer. She also enjoyed pottery, ceramics, gardening, fishing, riding motorcycles, and shooting.
Miss Luna is survived by her parents: A. Benito and Gloria Fry Luna of Huffman, brother: Dan Luna and wife Corey of Huffman, nephew: Cody Luna, her companions: Deanna and Lola, and numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.
Edwards
Charlotte Marie Edwards, age 66 of Liberty, Texas died Saturday November 28, 2015 at her home, with her family around her bedside.
Services for Ms. Edwards will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Turkey Creek Missionary Baptist Church located at 1600 Wallisville Rd. Liberty, TX 77575. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. until funeral at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Wells cemetery, Liberty.
Charlotte Edwards was born September 17, 1949 to Frank and Virginia DeBlanc Edwards who preceded her in death. She was a 1968 graduate of Liberty Training High School and furthered her education at Houston Community College. She was a domestic engineer and a baker where she developed the name “The Cake Lady”.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Mattie Bea Thibodeaux, Rosemary Jenkins and brother Frank Neal Edwards Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter: Cassandra Yvette Edwards; sons: Levar Andre Edwards Sr., Courtney Shane Edwards, Trevan Lynn Beaty, and Edward Lewis; grand-daughters: Christian, Kaitlen, Kimberly, and Lyric Edwards; grandsons: Devon McGowen, Levar Jr., Kevon, and Dillon Edwards; one great-granddaughter: Imani Alexis Edwards; siblings: Ruth Evelyn Mosely (Don); Elizabeth Ann Douglas (Wilson); Clara Pickett; Brian Bennett Edwards Sr. (Betty); Christopher Lydell Edwards (Cindy); and Darrell Wayne Edwards; one aunt: Bernice Redmon; brother-in-law: Clayton Thibodeaux; and sister-in law: Laura Edwards.

McMillen
Marie M. McMillen was born in Liberty, Texas on March 28th, 1963 and was the fifth child out of an eventual six children.
Her parents were Dewey Alexander McMillen Junior and Thelma McMillen-Level. She also grew very close to her grandparents, Dewey Alexander McMillen Senior and Blanche Jannise McMillen.
Marie McMillen was determined to make a better life for herself and others so she set out to receive a higher education from Houston Community College where she studied Logistics, Transportation, & Supply Chain Management. Using her knowledge, she owned her own business and managed retail companies, while raising her son Manuel “CJ” Johnson Jr. She loved many things, but her family and God were the most important to her.
Marie embraced the Lord on Tuesday, allowing her to reunite with her parents, grandparents, stepbrother David Level and sister-in-law Andle McMillen that preceded her in death. She is survived by loving husband, Max Mahmood (and Peanut); siblings, Dewey McMillen III, Leona and John Hall, Ervin McMillen, RoseAnna and James Lerma; son, Manuel “CJ” Johnson Jr. and his wife Hayleigh Johnson with her beloved grandson, Austin Trevor Johnson.
Marie McMillen impacted many people in her life through church, work, friendships and more. Her family would like to celebrate her life through a visitation and service on Wednesday December 2nd, 2015. The visitation will last from 12pm to 2pm, promptly followed by the Memorial Service. Both service and visitation will be held at Carnes Funeral Home –Texas City 3100 Gulf Freeway, Texas 77591.

Paul Eugene Chenall 63, of Oak Island died Nov. 22, 2015.
Paul was born in Liberty, TX to Rudolph Chenall and Margie Bailey. He went to be with his daughter: Necie Chenall on Nov. 22, 2015. Paul is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years: JoAnn Charlton- Chenall, daughter: Shannon Nelson and her husband Matthew Nelson. Grandchildren: Shannon Chenall-Dehoyas, Brandi Harvell, and Travis Harvell. Great Grandchild: Faylynn Carrington. 8- Sisters and 1- Brother as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Paul loved fishing, hunting reading and cooking. He will truly be missed and loved by all.

Charles Ray Otwell, age 51 of Moscow, Texas, died Saturday, November 21, 2015.
He was born November 9, 1964 in Houston, Texas to parents James Otwell and Suzie Messer. He is preceded in death by his father, James Otwell; grandfather, Charles Otwell; and grandmother, Bertha Otwell.

Omie Denise Chenall “Necie” 41, of Oak Island passed Nov. 20, 2015.
Necie was born in Pasadena TX to Paul Eugene Chenall and JoAnn Charlton. She came home to big sister Shanna Michell Nelson. Necie is survived by Daddy: Paul Chenall, Mother: JoAnn Charlton Chenall, Son: Shannon Chenall-Dehoyas, Sister: Shannon Nelson and her husband Matthew Nelson, niece: Brandi Harvell, Nephew: Travis Harvell and great Niece: Faylynn Carrington.

Poland
Maude Poland 78 of Honey Island, died Saturday November 21, 2015 at 9:15 P.M. at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born in Plank (Honey Island) TX, on February 23, 1937 and lived there most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Poland, parents Mayo Fregia and Lena Roth. Sister, Selena McClleland and brother Richard Fregia.
She leaves behind four sons, David Poland and wife Libby of Saratoga; Keith Poland and wife Lois of Honey Island; Larry Poland and wife Dee Dee of Honey Island, and Billy Poland and wife Janice of Providence.
Grandchildren 15 and great grandchildren 16. She will be greatly missed and loved always.
A service of remembrance will be held on Wednesday November 25, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Faith & Family Funeral Services with Reverend Earl Crawford officiating. Interment will follow at E.G. Poland cemetery in Honey Island.
The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday November 24, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Faith & Family.

Leisa Diane Smith Mascarella, 57, of Conroe, died Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at the St. Luke’s Hospital in The Woodlands.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 23, 2015, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Cleveland.
Leisa was born May 9, 1958 in Shreveport, Louisiana, to parents; Billy and LouAnn McMillian Smith, and has been a resident of Conroe. She was a graduate of the Humble High School class of 1977 and a florist for the Vintage Square HEB. Gardening was her passion, something she took an interest in following in her Daddy's footsteps. Family meant everything to her. She was always up for anything, whether it was a spontaneous trip to the beach, errands just to spend time with a loved one or a Sunday afternoon of Lifetime movies! She put her whole heart into everything she did. She also enjoyed flowers, sewing and crocheting.
Mrs. Mascarella was preceded in death by her father: Billy Smith and brother: Mike Smith.
