Provost
Patricia Ann Provost was born March 16, 1964 in Dayton, TX to the union of Hurley and Annie Bell Provost. She attended Dayton High School and graduated in 1984.
After High School she married
Lloyd Winters and one son was born, Jeremy Winters, and six years later one daughter, Symone Provost. For many years Patricia worked for KFC until 2002. She later worked at the Liberty County Jail for eleven years until her health failed on July 8, 2013. Patricia “Lil Mama” was a FIESTY woman that didn’t mind giving anyone a piece of her mind. She was a force to be reckoned with, and loved partying, dancing and listening to southern blues.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Bell Provost, maternal and paternal grandparents.
Patricia leaves to cherish her memories, father Hurley Provost, Sr. (Bernice) of Dayton; two children Jeremy Winters (Destiny) and Symone Okorocha (Bertram); seven grandchildren; siblings Bertha Wilson Phillips of Houston, James Wilson of Dayton, Larry Wilson of Missouri City, Mary Provost Ivey of Houston, Hurley Provost, Jr. (Vanessa) of Humble, Caffra Joseph Provost of Pasadena; uncles Albert Guidry (Eliza), Earl “Pete” Provost, Paul “Leon” Provost (Sandy), John Foley; five nieces, four nephews, five great nieces, five great nephews; Special Friends Min. Jackie Kyle, Ella Jean Redmond, Annette Young, Juanita Lewis, Asilee Earvin and a host of other family and friends.
Special thanks to the staff of Heritage Village Nursing Home, Memorial Herman Northeast and everyone who came to visit, prayed and wished her well during her illness.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., Friday, December 18, 2015 at Wells Funeral Services in Althea P. Gibson Chapel. She will lie-in-state at Berean Tabernacle Baptist Church, 405 Hwy 146 Bypass, Liberty, Texas 77575, 9:00 a.m.-11:00a.m. Funeral Services at 11:00 a.m., Reverend Alristelle K. Thomas, Officiating. Interment at Acie cemetery, Dayton, Texas.
Wells Funeral Services at 300 Alabama Street, Liberty, Texas has been entrusted with final arrangements.
Thompson
Winston Samuel Thompson age 61 died at his home in Dayton, December 3, 2015.
Winston was born in St. Thomas, Jamaica the son of Moulton and Florette Thompson. Winston enjoyed tending to his birds, being out in nature, and watching or playing soccer. He worked for the past twelve years as a welder with TMC.
He was preceded in death by his mother Florette.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son Carlos, daughters Sherene and Simone, and his father Moulton. In addition he leaves his brothers Mike and Devon and a grandson Raheim.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Memorial service will be held 11AM Saturday December 19, 2015 at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N. Travis Liberty, Texas.
Alexander
Billy Robert Alexander Sr. of Hardin, died on Friday December 11, 2015 in Greenwood, South Carolina. He was 51.
A graveside service will be held on Friday December 18, 2015 at 10:00A.M. at Hardin Chapel cemetery with Reverend Gideon Watson officiating.
Serving as pallbearers are Billy Alexander Jr, Andy Wilson, Joel Wilson, Weldon Wilson, Jonathan Henderson, and Randyle Walters.
The family will be receiving friends on Thursday December 17, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Faith & Family.
Billy was born in Houston, Texas to Billy Duane Alexander and Nelda Windham Barton. He was a Welder and pipefitter for Jacob's Engineering.
He was preceded in death by his father Billy Duane Alexander, and brother Danny Quinn.
He is survived by his mother, Nelda Barton and husband Fred of Hardin, son Billy Alexander Jr. and wife Amy of Des Moines Iowa, and daughter Wendy Alexander and husband Terry of Des Moines Iowa.
Brothers are Joel Wilson of Hardin, B.J. Quinn and wife Pat of Longview, TX, and Tony Alexander and wife Tonya of Daisetta, and sister Tonja Henderson and husband John of Baytown.
Grandchildren; Aiden, Harmony, Carson and Gannon.
"He lived a Gypsy life and loved his motorcycles and taking care of his pet dogs. He will be greatly missed."

Chapman
Calvin Louis Chapman, 71, of Dayton, died Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 19, 2015, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Wells cemetery in Liberty. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday, at the funeral home. Services are entrusted to Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Calvin was born April 9, 1944 in Plaisance, Louisiana, to parents; Earlist and Agnes Sam Chapman, and has been a Dayton resident for many years. He was a maintenance employee for Tanner Construction and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Mr. Chapman was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife: Leila Boston Chapman, son: Earlist “Peanut” Chapman, stepdaughter: Charlene Mitchell, stepson: Lewis Baldwin, granddaughter: Tyra Ramirez, great-granddaughter: Alanna Thomas, and also left behind to cherish his memory: Patricia Mitchell Etienne, Heyward Etienne, Quincy Hubert, Alexon Mitchell, Jurney Hubert, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Madden
Thomas Wesley Madden 76 of Hardin, died Sunday December 13, 2015 at Houston Methodist Hospital.
A service of remembrance with Masonic Rites will be held on Thursday December 17, 2015 at 10:00 A.M.at Faith & Family Funeral Services Chapel with Reverend Woody Sonnier officiating.
Thomas was born May 18, 1939 in Goodwill, Louisiana, to William W. Madden and Lillie Hickman. He had lived in Liberty county for 13 years and was a retired pipefitter for Brown & Root. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Hull, and a member Mount Zion Church of God in Goodwill, Louisiana. He was also was a musician, singer and a piano player.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Madden and Lillie Hickman Madden, son, Pat Shane Madden. Brothers, Harvey Madden, W.M. Madden, and Jimmy Ray Madden James Sullivan. Sisters, Paulette Pace, Annie Pearl Carter, Lorine Hickman and Lois Chain, Frankie Lee and Opal..
Survivors are his loving wife Sandra Horton Madden of Hardin. Daughters, Johnette Madden and husband Kenneth of Deer, Park, and Gail Madden.
Stepsons are Tommy Ray Madden of Goodwill, Louisiana, and Joey Wes Madden of Grayson, Louisiana, and sister Merium Chain of Livingston.

Lively
Nancy Ann Segovia Lively died December 5, 2015 in Livingston, Texas.
She was born June 15, 1954 in Hardin, Texas, the daughter of Joe Segovia Sr., and Clara Millard Segovia. She attended grade school in Liberty. Nancy lived in Coldspring for over ten years, and moved to Livingston within the last year. She spent her life as a homemaker, sharing as much time as she could with her children and grandchildren, whom she greatly adored. Nancy adored animals, especially cats and dogs. She was a very honest, loyal, and kind-hearted person, and her family, friends, and anyone who knew her, loved and adored her.
Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Joe Segovia Sr.; daughter, Regina Boles; sister, Theresa Pena; nephew, David Boles; and sister, Joann Segovia.
She leaves behind to cherish her beloved memory, her mother, Clara Segovia of Coldspring; sister, Shirley Segovia of Coldspring; brothers, Joe Segovia Jr. of Coldspring, and Joseph Segovia & wife Deborah of Coldspring; son, Larry Boles Jr. of Huntsville; grandchildren, Chelsea, Joangela, Michael, Douglas, James, Larry Jr., David, Nicole, and Carma; and great-grandchildren, Regina, Lindsay, Michael Jr., and Jacob Jr. Nancy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A graveside service and committal will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, December 19, 2015 in Hardin Chapel cemetery, located at 1005 Highway 834 West, in Hardin, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Sterling Funeral Home, located at 602 North Main Street, in Dayton, Texas. .
Deckert
Joe Deckert of Hull, died Sunday December 13, 2015 at his residence. He was 88.
A service of remembrance will be held on Thursday December 17, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church -Marysee with Reverend Carlton Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Guedry cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends on Thursday December 17, 2015 also at the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church - Marysee from 11:00 A.M. until service time.
After serving in the Air Force Joe became a roughneck in the oil field. He started working for Mobil Oil in 1956 until he retired in 1989. He loved fishing, hunting and especially dancing and his Cajun music. He also enjoyed coaching little league baseball.

Joe is preceded in death by the mother of his children Joyce Deckert. His second wife Lois Deckert, parents Joseph Louis Deckert, Sr. and Jessie Rissie "Richey" Deckert. Brothers, Joseph Louis "J.L." Deckert, Jr., Jack Bevil Deckert, James Desmond Deckert, and his twin brother Jessie Richard Deckert, and sisters, Wilma Jewel Ewing and Josie Ewing.
Those he leaves to cherish his memories, are sons, Bevil Deckert and wife Diana of Port Neches, and Mitchell Deckert of Lufkin. Also a daughter, Karen Gandy of Hull.
Grandchildren are Kara Metcalf and husband Jared of Pittsburg, PA, Jonathon Deckert and Lisa Briggs of Port Neches, Heather Martinez and husband Robert of Hull, Felicia Gandy and Fiance' Ricky Eckiss of Hull and Brandon Deckert and wife Crystal of Groves.
Great grandchildren, Avery Metcalf of Pittsburg, PA, Madalyn Metcalf of Pittsburg, PA, Rebecca Lazo of Hull, Matthew Lazo of Hull, Zachary Deckert of Groves and Anistyn Deckert of Groves, and numerous nieces, nephews and host of loving friends.

Weimers
Roselian Weimers 82 of Thicket, died Saturday December 12, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born February 11, 1932 in Thicket, to Perry L. Moye and Rebecca Felps. A lifelong resident of Thicket, she was a homemaker and a member of Hardin United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Claude Wiemers, sister, Virginia "Daughter" Truitt, and brother Perry "P.J" Moye.
Survivors are son John Wiemers and wife Kelli of Thicket, daughter, Rebecca "Becky" Shroff and husband Scott of Thicket.
Grandchildren are Michael Cade Shroff of Nederland, Christopher Scott Shroff of Thicket, Brandon Boone and Kristen Boone both of Thicket, and Emily Boone of Livingston.
A service of remembrance will be held on Wednesday December 16, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church of Saratoga, with Reverend Frank Aragon officiating. Interment will follow at Felps cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday December 15, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church of Saratoga.
