Drucilla Huffman Darwin
Services for Drucilla Huffman Darwin, 89, of Palestine, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Rev. Fred Neal officiating. Burial will be in Broyles Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Darwin died Sunday at Palestine Regional Medical Center.
She was born April 17, 1913, in Anderson County to Eddie C. Huffman and Rosa Lee Wallace Huffman.
Mrs. Darwin was a member of North Jackson Baptist Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, and before retiring had been a desk clerk at the Texanne Motel.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy Campbell Parker and J.Q. Darwin; sisters, Lottie Chandler and Navana Ritchey; brother, Lawrence Huffman; and a great-granddaughter, Rachel Benge.
Mrs. Darwin is survived by her daughter, Gail Parker Sandlin; sons, Roy Campbell Parker and Steve Eugene Darwin; sisters, Marie Mack and Betty Jo Hoesling, both of the Harmony community; brother, Howard Huffman of Palestine; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Tony Huffman, Larry Mack, Marlin Cretsinger, Jerry Sandlin, Johnny Titlow and Mark Huffman.
Grandchildren and great-grandchildren will be honorary pallbearers.

Gladys Marie Morgan
Services for Gladys Marie Morgan, 86, of Palestine, will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the graveside in Muse Cemetery with the Rev. Davy Hobson officiating. Arrangements under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mrs. Morgan died Sunday at Cartmell Home for Aged.
She was born Nov. 27, 1915, in Anderson County to Ham West and Emmie Ball West.
Mrs. Morgan was a homemaker and a member of Muse Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Stella O’Neal, Hattie Webb and Bulah Fletcher.
Mrs. Morgan is survived by sisters, Ozetta Hobson of Hawkins and Dorothy Thornton of Winnsboro.
Pallbearers will be Larry Richie, Rickey Ferguson, Curtis Ferguson, Don Ferguson, Jerry Thornton and C.A. Trent.

Charlie Ramirez
Private services for Charlie Ramirez, 78, of Palestine, will be Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Zacharias Kunnakkattuthara officiating. Private burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be recited at 7:15 p.m. today at the funeral home chapel.
Mr. Ramirez died Wednesday at Palestine Healthcare Center.
He was born on April 6, 1924 in Robstown to Francisco and Lila Ramon Ramirez.
Mr. Ramirez lived in Palestine since 1967. He attended Baylor University. He worked at Robstown Hospital for 19 1/2 years and was lab manager at Memorial Hospital in Palestine for 22 years.
He was a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II as a member of the healthcare field.
He was preceded in death by a son, David Charles Ramirez, in 1970.
Mr. Ramirez is survived by his wife, Pat Ramirez of Palestine; son, Steven Ramirez of Lindale; stepsons, Steven Eli of Dallas and Kevin Eli of Lake Harbor; daughters, Lilia Barbour and Elma Perez, both of Kingsville; stepdaughters, Patti Eli of Bethesda, Md. and Beth Whiteside of Chandler; a halfsister, Minerva Kirscht of Aurora, Colo.; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be this evening following the Rosary service at the funeral home.

Rose Bell White
Services for Rose Bell White, 83, of Kirvin, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Kirvin Baptist Church with the Rev. Louis Jones officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery under the direction of Capps Memorial Chapel, Fairfield.
Mrs. White died Wednesday in Corsicana.
She was born May 9, 1919 in Eunice, La. to Marie Denise Veillon Layton and Olid Bertrand.
Mrs. White lived most of her life in Kirvin and was a member of Kirvin Baptist Church. She was a retired nurse from Dr. Buchmeyer’s Wortham Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis White; son, Jimmie White; and stepfather, V.R. Layton.
Mrs. White is survived by a son, Charles White of Kirvin; sister, Lula Bell Flanagan of Fort Worth; brother, Claude Layton of Conroe; brother, Manfred Bertrand of Kirvin; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Willie Rowland, Clint Sutton, James White, Gene Allen, Tommy Flanagan and PeeWee Carter.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. N.D. Buchmeyer and Sonny Sessions.

Lorenzo Holley
Services for Lorenzo Holley, 30, of Houston, and formerly of Centerville, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Bloom of Life Baptist Church in Tanyard. Burial will follow in Tanyard Cemetery under the direction of Emanuel Funeral Home in Crockett.
Mr. Holley was found dead in Houston on Thursday.
He was born Oct. 19, 1971 in Leon County to J.W. Holley Jr. and Carolyn Sanders Holley. He attended school in Houston.
Mr. Holley is survived by his father of Houston; and his mother, Carolyn Sanders Holley Lewis of Dallas; sons, Shawn Holley and Jason Holley of Houston; daughter, Raven Simone Holley of Houston; and a brother, Jermaine Holley of Houston.

Mrs. Poe died Sunday afternoon at her residence.
She was born April 18, 1949, in Crockett to Hugh Stafford Masters and Sylvia Ollise Dickey Masters.
Mrs. Poe was a member of Crockett Road Church of Christ. She was a beautician.
She was preceded in death by her father; her husband, Douglas C. Poe, in 1997; and two sons, John Dickey Masters and Hugh David Masters.
Mrs. Poe is survived by her mother, of Palestine; daughters, Mistylee Poe of Austin and Holly Ann Powers of Leander; sister, Dianne Hare of Palestine; and brother, Larry Masters of Conroe.
Girlina Boman
Services for Girlina Boman, 85, of Tennessee Colony will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Friendship Baptist Church in Tennessee Colony with the Rev. H.T. Young officiating. Burial will follow in the Wynn Cemetery in Yard under the direction of Emanuel Funeral Home.
Mrs. Boman died Saturday in Palestine Healthcare Center.
She was born March 20, 1917 in Yard to Walter and Martha Allen Alexander.
Mrs. Boman was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Tennessee Colony. She lived in Houston for many years and was employed as a nurse and a beautician.
She was preceded in death by her father in 1976 and her mother in 1972.
Mrs. Boman is survived by a host of cousins.
Hardy Seale Jr.
Services for Hardy Seale Jr., 82, of Palestine, will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Roselawn Park with Deacon Alex Kobar officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mr. Seale died Monday at Palestine Regional Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 27, 1920 in Marquez to Albert Hardy Seale Sr. and Lillian Johnson Seale.
Mr. Seale was a pharmacist and was associated for many years with Brazziel Drug Co. He was a lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force during World War II and was a flight instructor.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Schwab Seale; and a granddaughter, Cindi Dorsett.
Mr. Seale is survived by daughter, Mary Grace Farris of Palestine; sons, Dicky Seale of Friendswood and Donald Seale of Palestine; sister, Dorothy Jackson of Duncanville; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was born April 1, 1948 in Huntsville.
Mr. Wilson was a U.S. Army veteran who earned a Purple Heart for his service during the Vietnam War. He was a construction worker.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Wilson; and grandparents, Charlie and Devilla Fourney and Willie and Hattie Wilson.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his mother, Loretta Wilson; sons, William “Billy” Wilson and Tomy A. “Andy” Wilson; daughter, Frances Ann Wilson; brothers, Tony Wilson, Jay Wilson and David Lee Wilson Jr.; and eight grandchildren.
