Hardy Huenerberg
Funeral arrangements for Hardy Huenerberg, 82, of Palestine, are pending at Bailey & Foster, Palestine.
Mr. Huenerberg died Sunday afternoon in Flynn.
J.B. Manley Sr.
Services for J.B. Manley Sr., 80, of Palestine, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Bailey & Foster Chapel with Dr. Tom Rousseau officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Park.
Mr. Manley died Saturday night at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler.
He was born July 28, 1922, to Palestine to Charles Albert Manley Sr. and Maggie Sue Wagnon Manley.
Mr. Manley was a heavy equipment operator in the construction business. He was a member of First Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by two grandchildren; and sister, Catherine Manley.
Mr. Manley is survived by his wife, Coeleen Denson Manley; daughter, Katherine “Katrina” Mason of Palestine; sons, J.B. Manley Jr. of Post and Gary W. Manley of Grand Rapids, Mich.; brothers, Charles A. Manley Jr. of Beaumont and Earl T. Manley of Lafayette, La.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John P. Manley, Jason Manley, Derek Manley, James L. Holloway, Alvin Richardson and Billy Crutcher.
Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Anna Kate Woolverton
Services for Anna Kate Woolverton, 84, of Palestine, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Herrington/Land of Memory Chapel with the Rev. Jason Bryant officiating. Burial will be in Tennessee Colony Cemetery under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.
Mrs. Woolverton died Saturday at Cartmell Home for Aged.
She was born Nov. 20, 1918, in Palestine to Henry Link and Grace Wilburn Valentine.
Mrs. Woolverton lived in Palestine her entire life. She was a life member of North Jackson Baptist Church. She retired from East Texas National Bank in 1983 after 32 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill F. Woolverton, on Dec. 7, 1944.
Mrs. Woolverton is survived by sons, Jack F. Woolverton of Dallas and Lacy L. Spears of Sugarland; sisters, Eloise Constantine of Reedley, Calif. and Jean Hart of Palestine; brother, Bill Valentine of Houston; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Lane Spears, Kevin Logan, Don Woolverton, Buddy Butler, Mike Hart and Mark Hart.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Hazel Grace Watson
Services for Hazel Grace Watson, 84, of Waco, was scheduled for 11:30 a.m. today at Fairfield Cemetery with the Rev. Buddy Turner officiating. Burial was to follow at Fairfield Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Capps Memorial Chapel in Fairfield. Mrs. Watson died Saturday in Waco.
She was born June 28, 1918, in Fairfield to Dr. Wiley and Lillie McFadin.
She married George William Fryer in 1938. An Air Force Lieutenant, Fryer was declared missing in action in 1944.
She married Howard Watson Jr. on Aug. 13, 1946. They owned and operated Fairfield Supermarket for 12 years. They moved to Waco in 1969.
She was preceded in death by her husbands and two brothers.
She is survived by sons, Charles Fryer of Mansfield, John Wiley Watson of Waco, and Howard Watson III of Waco; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Wesley Godbey Smith
Services for Wesley Godbey Smith, 94, of Fairfield, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Fairfield with the Rev. Mack Roller officiating. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Capps Memorial Chapel in Fairfield. Mr. Smith died Saturday.
He was born Nov. 13, 1908 in Hemphill to Thomas and Fannie Smith. Mr. Smith was a member of First Baptist Church of Fairfield.
He is survived by his wife, Sara Smith of Fairfield; son, John Wesley Smith of Teague, stepdaughter, Cynthia Lancaster of Spring; stepson, Chris Wirtz of Streetman; sisters, Irene Blake of Fort Worth and Anna Mae Moss of Bedford; brothers, Harold K. Smith of Fort Worth and Thomas W. Smith of Anaheim, Calif.; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Terry Bagley, Jodie Sanders, Dickie Hall, Ron Pearce, Denny Kingsley, Ronnie Tanner, Kenneth Book and David McLeod. Honorary pallbearers will be John Wilson, Roger Pruett, members of “Next to Heaven” Sunday School Class; Gene Lyles and Monte Cole.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Emery Lee Cherry
Services for Emery Lee Cherry, 76, of Humble, formerly of Caldwell, were held Saturday at Capps Memorial Chapel in Fairfield with the Rev. Ed Ridge officiating. Burial was in Woodland Cemetery in Kirvin under the direction of Capps Memorial Chapel, Fairfield.
Mr. Cherry died Friday in Fairfield.
He was born May 9, 1926 in Valley Mills to Homer Wyatt Cherry and Addie Cummings Cherry.
Mr. Cherry was a truck driver and a member of the VFW in Humble.
He was a Methodist and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Mr. Cherry was preceded in death by his wife, Nathiely Christine Cherry.
He is survived by brothers, Otis Cherry of San Marcos; Robert Paul Cherry of Alvin and Homer Dwight Cherry of Wortham; and sister, Martha Nell Cannon of Fairfield.
Ada Lea Yager
Services for Ada Lea Yager, 93, of Teague, formerly of Grapevine, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Keenan Cemetery in Farmers Branch with the Rev. Don Suits officiating. Burial will be in Keenan Cemetery under the direction of Capps Memorial Chapel, Fairfield.
Mrs. Yager died Saturday at her residence.
She was born Oct. 2, 1909, in Luna to Richard and Emma Cooper Monk.
Mrs. Yager was a seamstress for Simmons Mattress Co. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Grapevine. She lived in Teague for five years, leaving in Grapevine most of her life.
Mrs. Yager was preceded in death by her husband, William Guy Yager; and two daughters.
She is survived by son, Wayne Yager of Teague; sister, Eloise Nealy of Flower Mound; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Alex Day

Mr. Day died Friday in Dallas.
LaFalia Mims

Mrs. Mims died Saturday evening at Teague Nursing Home.
Annette Main
Services for Annette Main, 90, of Palestine will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Rev. James Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Park.
Mrs. Main died Saturday at Palestine Health Care Center.
She was born Oct. 18, 1912 in Paris, France to Henry and Eugenia Carbenois Sebrier.
Mrs. Main was retired from Morton Foods in Dallas after 25 years of service. She was a faithful member of Fields Chapel Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Melvin Main in August 2002.
Mrs. Main is survived by sisters-in-law, Irene Lasiter, Edith Lasiter, Virgie Babb, Susie Langston, Daisy Cook, Eva Nell Funderburk, Tommie Jean White and Othelia Main, all of Palestine, and Yvette Main of Dallas; special friends of Palestine Health Care Center, and special roommate, Ladonna Alcorn.
Pallbearers will be H.L. Langston, Jerry Langston, Randy White, Paul Gosper, Roger Main, Maurice Main, Rickey White and John Langston.

Ruby I. Boyce
Services for Ruby I. Boyce, 79, of Palestine will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Palestine City Cemetery with the Rev. Clifton Heusel officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mrs. Boyce died Saturday at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler.
She was born Feb. 11, 1924 in Minot, N.D. to Lars and Olean Slettan Stenseth.
Mrs. Boyce was a school teacher, and taught in Sperry and Catossa, Okla.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and one brother.
Mrs. Boyce is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert W. Boyce of Palestine; sons, Vernon Lee Boyce of Acworth, Ga. and Ronald Ray Boyce of Palestine; brother, Lester Stenseth of Alaska; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Marvin Lee Musick

Mr. Musick died Saturday at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler.
Josie Hamilton McDonald
Services for Josie Hamilton McDonald, 98, of Neches, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Neches United Methodist Church with the Revs. Jim Bradely and Charles Grasty officiating. Burial will be in Neches City Cemetery under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mrs. McDonald died Friday afternoon at the Cartmell Home for the Aged.
She was born June 22, 1903 in Larissa to William Butler Hamilton and Sarah Ella Hall Hamilton.
Mrs. McDonald was a member of Neches United Methodist Church, Daughters of the American Revolution and United Daughters of the Confederacy. She finished high school in Bullard and went on to attend North Texas State Teachers College, Stephen F. Austin University and Sam Houston State University and finished with a degree in education.
She taught school in Italy, Mt. Selman and Neches. While teaching in Neches she met and married Brice McDonald who owned and operated J.B. McDonald & Son Store.
Mrs. McDonald was preceded in death by her husband who died in 1986; and a son, Bethune F. McDonald.
She is survived by sons, Brice H. McDonald of Neches and Robert McDonald of San Antonio; daughter, Johnnie Bell Faucett of Neches; 11 grandchildren and 12-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jim Faucett, Rebecca Stasel, Johanna Faucett, Susie Jimenez, Tammy Kent, Daron McDonald, Craig McDonald and Heather Lotts.
Honorary pallbearers will be Laura McDonald, Scott McDonald and Suzie Campbell.
