A native of Arnaudville, La., he lived in Beaumont and was a railroad clerk.
Survivors include his wife, Janiece Olivier of Beaumont; daughter, Scarlett Kacer of Bay City; brothers, C.V. Olivier of Melville, La., Larry Olivier of South Vienna, Ohio, and Donald Olivier of Vidor; sisters, Margie Broussard of Lake Charles, La., Loycie Marks of Arnaudville and Jessie Savoie of Vidor; and two grandchildren.

Mary T. Patton, 87, of Dayton died June 23, 2001, in Cotopaxi, Colo.

A native and longtime resident of Dayton, she lived in Cotopaxi two years and was a homemaker.
Survivors include great-niece, Rhonda Shafer; and great-great-nieces, Rhianna Shafer and Lydia Shafer. All are from Cotopaxi.

A native of Kirbyville, he lived in Beaumont and was a retired heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta Powell of Lumberton; and brother, Clifford Powell of Hardin.

A native of DeRidder, La., she lived in Lumberton 21 years and was a retired Mobil Chemical laborer.
Survivors include her husband, John Rutledge of Lumberton; son, Edwin Lee Wornell of Lumberton; daughter, Sheila Ann Melder of Warren; brother, Prentice Hinson of DeRidder; sisters, Zennie Thomas of Carthage, Willie "Will" Carr of Beaumont and Myra "Sip" Moses and Ray Ella Self, both of DeRidder; and six grandchildren.

A native of Center, he lived in Beaumont many years and was a retired construction worker and World War II U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his son, David White Sr. of Beaumont; stepdaughter, Lavada Jones of Texas City; brother, Jack White of Fort Worth; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A native of Goose Creek, he lived in Nederland most of his life and was a B.F. Goodrich production department operator.
