A native of Elizabeth, La., she lived in Beaumont 51 years and was a retired housekeeper.
Survivors include her sister, Hattie Hollier of Beaumont.
CLARENCE ‘FLORIDA’ McDOWELL
Clarence "Florida’’ McDowell, 74, of Beaumont died March 31 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Mortuary with burial at Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Saturday to time of service at the mortuary.
A native of Washington, La., he lived in Beaumont 53 years and was a retired longshoreman from Local No. 21.
Survivors include his wife, Aline McDowell of Beaumont; daughters, Cathy McDowell, Mary McDowell and Ann McDowell, all of Jacksonville, Fla.; stepdaughter, Goldie Rideaux of Beaumont; 35 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Frank Reeder Jr., 59, of Four Corners, La., died April 1 at Franklin Foundation Hospital in Franklin, La.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Tabernacle of Hope in Lafayette, La., under the direction of Jones Funeral Home in Franklin. An additional service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Gabriel Funeral Home in Port Arthur with burial at Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Saturday to time of service at the funeral home.
A native of Port Arthur, he lived in Four Corners a number of years.
Survivors include his daughter, Ruth Bartie of Lake Charles, La.; brothers, James L. Reeder and Glenn Reeder, both of Port Arthur, Frederick Reeder of Houston, Lynn Reeder and Charles P. Reeder, both of Dallas, and Jonathan Reeder of Beaumont; and sister, Shelia L. Ceasar of Port Arthur.

Sidney Harold Tanner, 57, of Hardin died April 4 at Methodist Hospital in Houston.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Allison Funeral Service in Liberty with burial at Moss Hill Community Cemetery in Moss Hill. Visitation will be from 3 to 9:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He lived in League City before moving to Hardin and was a retired civil engineer for U.S. Corps of Engineers.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Tanner of Hardin; daughters, Tiffany R. Tanner of Houston and Ashley Smith of League City; mother, Evelyn Tanner of Hardin; sister, Nobie Jo Lebert of Sour Lake; brother, Brian Kent Tanner of Sour Lake; and one granddaughter.

Mary Jenkins Turner, 77, of Beaumont died April 3 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital.

A native of Jeanerette, La., she lived in Beaumont 60 years.

A native of St. Martinville, she lived in Port Arthur most of her life and was retired owner of Diehl Radio and Television Supplies.
