Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Bethel Baptist Church in Cheek with burial at Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Community Funeral Chapel on Irma Avenue. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the church.
A native of Opelousas, La., she lived in Beaumont a number of years.
Survivors include sons, Melton Bob of San Diego, Preston Bob Jr. of Haywood, Calif., Israel Bob of Cheek, Joseph Bob and Phillip Bob, both of Beaumont, Paul lee Bob Sr. of LaPorte and Lloyd Edward Bob of Denver, Colo.; daughters, Delores Darby and Betty Darby, both of Beaumont; brothers, R.W. Jackson Sr. of Nederland and Singleton Jackson Jr. of Beaumont; sisters, Cora Bolt and Lillian Alford, both of Opelousas, Lena Offord of Orange and Rose McCoy of Beaumont; 36 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Geneva Vivian Brailsford, 97, of Beaumont died April 3 at Dubuis Hospital.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Peaceful Rest Baptist Church with burial at Shankleville Cemetery in Burkeville under the direction of Mercy Funeral Home on Fannett Road. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
A native of Huntsville, she lived in Beaumont 15 years.
Survivors include daughters, Glodean Cooper of Beaumont and Artie Mae Barrett of Houston; sons, Marvin Brailsford of Golden, Colo., and Valree Brailsford of Abilene; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Joseph "Joe’’ Broussard Sr., 66, of Beaumont died April 3 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at New Light Christian Center with burial at Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Calvary Mortuary. A quiet hour will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the center.
A lifelong resident of Beaumont, he was a retired longshoreman.
Survivors include his wife, Veola Broussard of Beaumont; son, Joseph Broussard Jr. of Beaumont; daughters, Janice Broussard of Houston and Carolyn Broussard Howard of Beaumont; sister, Joy Williams of Beaumont; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Douglas Daniels Jr, 77, of Port Arthur died April 2 at his residence.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rock Island Missionary Baptist Church with burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Richardson Funeral Home in Port Arthur. Visitation will be from noon to time of service Saturday at the church.
A native of Galveston, he lived in Port Arthur 50 years and was a retired Labor Local Union No. 853 business manager. He was also a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his sons, Donald Ray Daniels, Milton James Williams, Marshall Williams and Timothy James Williams, all of Port Arthur; daughters, Patricia Ann Washington of Houston, Delilah Williams of Los Angeles, Calif., Bridgette Daniels of Baytown, Lori Ann Boagni, Miss., Maggie Williams, Monica Lynn Jones and Christy Marie Jones, all of Port Arthur; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Velma Johnson Davis, 85, of Hemphill died April 3 at Woodland Heights Medical Center in Lufkin.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Macedonia Baptist Church in Hemphill with burial at Macedonia Cemetery under the direction of Percy Garner & Son Mortuary in San Augustine. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
She was a lifelong resident of Hemphill.

Lydia Demahy, 81, of Port Arthur died April 4 at Christus St. Mary Hospital.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Therese Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church in Port Acres with burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves under the direction of Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
A native of Jeanerette, La., she lived in Port Arthur 56 years and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, James J. Demahy of Port Arthur; son, R.J. Demahy of Beaumont; daughters, Wanda Ramke of Houston and Gail Burt of Spring; sisters, Lilly Mae Rao and Lillian Latiolais, both of New Iberia, La.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

WILLIAM ‘BILL’ HALLIBURTON
William "Bill’’ Halliburton, 80, of Huntington died April 5 at his residence.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Carroway Funeral Home in Huntington with burial at Jonesville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
A native of Beaumont and a former resident of Fort Worth, he lived in Huntington 26 years and was retired from the U.S. Air Force serving in World War II. He was also a former Civil Service employee.
Survivors include his wife, Virgie Mae Beaty Halliburton of Huntington; son, R.C. Halliburton of Huntington; brother, Grover C. Halliburton of Orange; and three grandsons.

Lee Ross Hargraves, 84, of Winnie died April 5 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

A native of Winnie, he lived in Woodville 30 years before moving back to Winnie, was a retired truck driver and a World War II U.S. Army Air Corps veteran.
Survivors include his stepson, Eugene Powers of Warren; stepdaughters, Lois Powers and Doris Powers, both of Beaumont; and brothers, Ray G. Hargraves of Stowell, Carl Hargraves of Winnie and Johnny Hargraves of Toledo Bend.

A lifelong resident of Beaumont, he was a retired longshoreman for the Port of Beaumont.

Felma Louise Wren Mashburn, 87, of Kountze died April 4 at Kountze Nursing Center.

A native of Iola, she lived in Kountze 33 years and was a retired service representative for Southwestern Bell.
Survivors include sisters, Myra Jean Peoples and Kathleen James, both of Kountze, and Era Beth Jowers of Jacksonville; and brother, Thomas Hicks Wren Jr. of Garland.
