Services for Georgia Mae Adams Lanier, 75, of Neches will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Neches with the Rev. Charles Grasty officiating. Burial will follow at Neches Cemetery under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lanier died Wednesday in a Tyler hospital.
She was born April 17, 1929 in Temple to Jesse V. Adams and Artie A. Grisham Adams.
Mrs. Lanier had lived in Angleton for 38 years before moving to Neches 15 years ago. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Neches. She was loved by all who met her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother and a sister.
Mrs. Lanier is survived by her husband of 55 years, John E. Lanier of Neches; three sons, Jesse B. Lanier and wife Denise of Camilla, and Thelbert Lanier and wife Judy and D.L. Lanier and wife Linda, all of Angleton; daughter, Debra Lanier Cassile of Palestine; sister, Jo Ann Parisian of Angleton; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jason Bullard, Colt Cassile, Justin Lanier, Randy Lanier, Dirk Howell and Mike Lanier.
Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Lanier, Douglas Lanier, Robert Long, Al Goodman, Marcellas Parrish, George Simmons, Jimmy Nitzsche, Jimmy Batchelor, Ray Parton and Karl Cooper.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, Neches.

Mrs. Bohannon died Thursday in Tyler.
She was born May 17, 1948 in Cleveland.
Mrs. Bohannon was a member of Christ Community Church. She was a housewife.
She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Hodge.
Mrs. Bohannon is survived by her husband, Frank Bohannon of Palestine; sons, Paul Wood Jr. and wife Kelly, Ray Wood, and Wesley Wood and wife Candace, all of Buna, and Daniel Lee Hodge of Palestine; daughters, Margaret Wood and Samantha Hodge, both of Palestine; brothers, William Keen and wife Laverne of Cleveland, Albert Keen of Porter, David Keen and wife Christina of Trinity; sister, Barbara Province and husband James of Groveton; and mother, Nona Keen of Groveton; and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be William Keen, Albert Keen, David Keen, Mitchell Keen, Henry Keen and John Shaw. Honorary pallbearer will be James Province.

Services for Craig T. Key, 40, of Palestine will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dick Davis officiating. A visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home before the service.
Mr. Key died Saturday at his residence.
He was born Nov. 30, 1963, in Xenia, Ohio to Larry David and Patricia Ann Summers Key.
Mr. Key was reared in Ohio and had lived in Palestine for two years, coming from Dallas. He worked in Palestine for Comet School Supply and while in Dallas was a pressman for Texas Color and Color Dynamics. He was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Darla Currie of Palestine; son, Joshua Key of Carrollton; father, Larry Key of Scottsdale, Ariz.; mother, Patricia Key of Plano; brother, Chris Key and wife Liz of Bend, Ore.; grandmother, Iva Summers of Dayton, Ohio; and nephews, Carson and Jaxkson Key of Bend, Ore.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.

Services for Mary Ruth Frederick, 80, of Nacogdoches will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Laird-McGill Funeral Home in Nacogdoches with Ike Quinn officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
Mrs. Frederick died Tuesday in Nacogdoches.
She was born Nov. 16, 1923, in Sour Lake, to Florence (Thomas) Griswold and James Richard Griswold.
Mrs. Frederick was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Nacogdoches Veterans of Foreign Wars and Pythian Sisters. She enjoyed cooking and family get-togethers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband of more than 50 years, Harold Frederick.
Mrs. Frederick is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Linda and Ron Stockton of Palestine and Faye Elizabeth Bailey of Lufkin; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
