CENTERVILLE — Services for Mobeta Kuykendall, 87, of Crockett and formerly of Centerville were at 10 a.m. Friday at the Walters Funeral Home in Centerville.
The Rev. Charles White of the First United Methodist Church in Centerville officiated.
Burial was in the Concord Cemetery in Concord, Texas.
Mrs. Kuykendall died Wednesday in a Crockett hospital.
She was born in Leon County and worked as a nurse in Houston for most of her adult life. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Centerville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. H.D. Kuykendall.
Survivors include five nephews and a niece.
William H. Montague

Services for William H. Montague, 56, of Bryan are set for 2 p.m. Sunday at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan.
The Rev. Tommy Tarver of the Temple of Hope Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Caldwell Masonic Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Montague died Thursday at his home.
He was born in Caldwell and lived in Bryan for most of his adult life. He worked in the maintenance/repair field and was a member of the Temple of Hope Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Montague of Bryan; two sons and daughters-in-law, William “Billy” and Ann Montague and Robert and Marcia Montague, all of Bryan; a daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Randy Satsky of Bryan; his mother, Adele Prieve of Caldwell; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Edward and Dora Montague of Bryan and Larry Prieve of Caldwell; a sister, Linda Prieve of Caldwell; and six grandchildren.
Elpidia Cruz Tamez

CAMERON — Services for Elpidia Cruz Tamez, 87, of Cameron are set for 3 p.m. Saturday at St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Cameron.
The Rev. Tom Hanus will officiate. Burial will be in Hernandez Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron.
Mrs. Tamez died Thursday in a Temple nursing home.
She was born in Cameron and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Monica’s Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Tamez Sr.
Survivors include three sons, Pete Tamez of Cameron and Andrew Tamez and Raymond Tamez, both of Temple; two daughters, Patsy Garcia and Mary Sisneros, both of Temple; two brothers, Julian Cruz and Trinidad Cruz, both of Michigan; four sisters, Nativad Cruz and Mary Rizzo, both of California, and Lupe Giron and Petra Sandoval, both of Michigan; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Dimple Bell Martin

Services for Dimple Bell Martin, 78, of Bryan are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Steep Hollow Baptist Church in Bryan. The Revs. Brickford Wall of the River of Life Church in Victoria, Texas, and Dale Suel of Steep Hollow Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Steep Hollow Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan.
Mrs. Martin died Thursday at St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
She was born in Burleson County. She spent most of her life in Brazos County until moving to San Marcos in 1952.
She and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm for many years. After retirement, she moved back to Bryan in 1981.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Truman Martin.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Fred and Joyce Martin of Austin; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Marshall Hooker and Laura and Gary Reeves, all of Victoria; a sister, Ruby Cannon of Caldwell; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Emma Pick Fischer

BUCKHOLTS — Services for Emma Pick Fischer, 93, of Buckholts are set for 2 p.m. Friday at the Hope Lutheran Church in Buckholts. The Rev. Gary Kleypas and Rev. Johnny Kueker will officiate. Burial will be in the Hope Lutheran Memorial Park in Buckholts.
Arrangements are under the direction of Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron.
Mrs. Fischer died Wednesday in a Temple, Texas, nursing facility.
She was born in Sagerton, Texas, and was a homemaker, farmer and rancher. She was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday school for 40 years, and was a former secretary of the Hope Lutheran Cemetery. She was a 4-H adult leader for 33 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Fischer.
Survivors include her two daughters and sons-in-law, Bernice Marie and Joe Dean Zajicek of Waco and Lavelle and Stanley J. Glaser of Buckholts; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Hope Lutheran Church in Buckholts.
Elmer Roger Lummus

MIDLAND — Graveside services for Elmer Roger Lummus, 93, of Midland are set for 1 p.m. Friday at Sardis Cemetery in Jewett.
The Rev. James Engle will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Ricks Funeral Home in Jewett.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to noon on Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Lummus died Tuesday in Midland. He was born in Leon County and worked for the Burlington-Rock Island Railroad for 40 years as a telegrapher. He retired in 1972.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Jennie Beatrice Craddock Lummus of Midland; a son and daughter-in-law, Donnie R. and Martha Lummus of Downington, Pa.; a daughter, Peggy Taylor of Mildand; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Cora Daughtry; five sisters-in-law, Mrs. Delmer Lummus, Mrs. Wilburn Lummus, Mrs. James Lummus, Mrs. O.I. Lewis and Mrs. Wesley Craddock; a brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Craddock; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was born in Navasota. She was a cook at a public school. She was a member of the Christian Home Workers Association. She was a member of Truevine Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert E. Seymore of Navasota, Jewel O. and Marilyn Seymore of Houston; one daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Alfred Collins Jr. of College Station; one sister, Zelma M. Kemp Seymore of Houston; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
E. W. Murray

LYONS — Graveside services for E.W. Murray, 82, a longtime resident of Lyons and Somerville, are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at Oaklawn Cemetery in Somerville. The Rev. Karl Brown will officiate.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Strickland Funeral Home in Somerville.
Mr. Murray died Wednesday in the Caldwell hospital.
He was born in Lyons. He graduated from Somerville High School and served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps during World War II. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad as a tire foreman and was a member of Marion Mays American Legion Post No. 455 of Somerville.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Lina Murray of Lyons; one daughter, Yvette Murray of Austin; and two sisters, Geraldine Murray and Magdalene Faulds, both of Lyons.

Mr. Gary died Saturday at Columbia Mainland Hospital in La Marque.
He was born in Grimes County. He was a laborer and a deacon of St. Mark Baptist Church, a member of the Christian Home Workers and a member of Community Love Society.
Survivors include one son, Earnest Gary of La Marque; a daughter, Bessie Gary Kizzie of La Marque; one brother, Claude “Six” Gary of Dallas; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
