ROCKDALE — Services for Jessie Earl Miller, 43, of Rockdale are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Pecan Street Church of Christ in Rockdale. The Rev. Neugene Knox will officiate. Burial will be in the New Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale.
Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.
Mr. Miller died Sunday in Rockdale.
He was born in Rockdale and worked in the construction business. He was a member of Pecan Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Gwendell Miller of Rockdale; three sons, Andre Jerome Chambers of Temple, Texas, Arnold Johnson of Rockdale and Karon Earl Miller of Rockdale; his parents, J.D. Miller Sr. and Emma Louise Miller of Rockdale; four brothers, J.D. Miller Jr., Stanley Miller, Edward Miller, and Reggie Miller, all of Rockdale; four sisters, Annie Thomas and Vernell Miller, both of Rockdale, Elizabeth Burnett of Bryan and Delma Miller of Rockdale; three stepsisters, Lardon Gipson, Carolyn Dickey and Diane Barnes, all of Rockdale.
Tony J. Luksa

CALDWELL — Services for Tony J. Luksa, 87, of Caldwell are set for 10 a.m. Thursday at New Tabor Brethren Church in New Tabor Community near Caldwell. The retired Rev. Henry Beseda of Caldwell Brethren Church will officiate.
Burial will be in New Tabor Brethren Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell.
A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Luksa died Monday in Caldwell.
He was born in Caldwell and was a retired farmer and rancher. He was a member of the Sons of Hermann Lodge #301 and a member of New Tabor Brethren Church.
Survivors include his wife, Liddie Mae Prochazka Luksa of Caldwell; a son and daughter-in-law, Tony Lee and Lanell Luksa of Caldwell; a daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Joe Muzny of Bryan; two sisters, Vlasta Goen and Estelle Pivonka, both of Caldwell; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the New Tabor Brethren Church.

NAVASOTA — Services for Federico Rios, 88, of Navasota are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Christ Our Light Catholic Church in Navasota. The Rev. Paul G. Felix will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to service time Wednesday at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lindley-Robertson-Holt Funeral Home in Navasota.
Mr. Rios died Monday in Canterbury Villa of Navasota.
He was born in Grimes County and was retired from the cable construction business. He was a member of Christ Our Light Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Guajardo Rios.Survivors include his daughter, Mary Medina of Navasota and a brother, Joe Rios Sr. of Navasota.
Earline Lillian Wiggins Miller

ROUND ROCK, Texas — A memorial service for Earline Lillian Wiggins Miller, 84, of Round Rock will be scheduled for a later date.

Mrs. Miller died Saturday at Will-O-Bell Nursing Home in Bartlett, Texas.
She was born in Maypearl, Texas. She was a housewife. She worked for a publishing company.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Miller.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, James and Kathy Miller of Hearne and David Miller of Round Rock; a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Scott Martin of Taylor, Texas; three brothers and a sister-in-law, David Wiggins of Arlington, Texas, Richard and Joyce Wiggins of Boyce, Texas, and F.C. Wiggins of Cedar Creek, Texas; one sister, Louise Putman of Purdon, Texas; ten grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Franklin Joseph Sebesta

CALDWELL — Services for Franklin Joseph Sebesta, 62, of Caldwell are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at Caldwell Brethren Church. The Rev. Al Newby and the Rev. Henry Beseda will officiate. Burial will be in San Antonio Prairie Cemetery near Caldwell. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell.
Mr. Sebesta died Monday in Caldwell.
He was born in Deanville community. He was a retired payroll supervisor for the physical plant at Texas A&M University. He was a member of the SPJST Lodge #186 in Caldwell. Mr. Sebesta was a member of Caldwell Brethren Church. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Bridges Sebesta of Caldwell; a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Melissa Sebesta of Austin; a daughter and son-in-law, Sheryl and Thomas Belloni of Austin; a sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Emmit Ross of Victoria, Texas; and two grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to American Heart Association and the Caldwell Brethren Church.

Services for Kevin Patrick Crook, 36, of College Station are set for 1 p.m. Friday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel in Conway, Ark. The Rev. Joe Engdahl will officiate. Burial will be in Vilonia Cemetery in Vilonia, Ark.
Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday with family present at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Visitation in Conway will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home.
Mr. Crook died Monday in Bryan.
He was born in Little Rock, Ark., and attended Vilonia High School and Arkansas Tech University. He was the division manager of production for Sanderson Farms and was a member of Central Baptist Church in Bryan.
Survivors include his wife, Paula A. Crook of College Station; two sons, Robert Paul “Bobby” Crook and Benjamin Patrick Crook, both of College Station; a sister, Gay Leifer of West Helena, Ark.; his parents, Bob and Minerva Crook of Vilonia.; his grandparents, Polly Merrifield, and Mr. and Mrs. R.V. Crook of Little Rock,.

Milton Charles Gaskamp

BRENHAM — Services for Milton Charles Gaskamp, 71, of Brenham are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brenham.
The Rev. Lawrence Bade will officiate. Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham.
Mr. Gaskamp died Thursday at his home.
He was retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone and was a member of the Pioneer Club, the Go Texan Committee and the Democratic Party.
Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Barbara Gaskamp; and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Evelyn Giesenschlag of Snook and Marilyn and Ernest Ray Bentke of Brenham.

Services for Shirley Jean Kalinec, 44, of Bryan are set for 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
A rosary will be recited at 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Kalinec died Friday at Bryton Inn in Bryan.
She was a lifelong resident of Bryan and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She worked as a technical writer for the Texas Transportation Institute at Texas A&M University for 20 years.
Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Kalinec of Bryan; a son, Lucas Kalinec of Bryan; a daughter, Cassie Kalinec of Bryan; Carrie Charanza of Bryan; a brother, Donald Charanza of Bryan; and two sisters, Peggy Rockhold of Houston and Debbie Stevener of Kurten.

Johnnie Louise Sherman

JACKSONVILLE, Texas — Services for Johnnie Louise Sherman, 63, of Jacksonville are set for 3 p.m. Sunday at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Sherman died Friday in Jacksonville.
She was born in Jacksonville and was a member of Blackjack Baptist Church. She was a teacher’s aide in Troup from 1986 to 1992 and was head bookkeeper at Easterwood Airport for 20 years.
Survivors include a brother, W.T. Sherman Jr. of Whitehouse, Texas; and a cousin.
Elma Walker

Private services for Elma Walker, 92, of Bryan will be held at Memorial Funeral Chapel College Station.
The Revs. Bob Richers and Lee Lamb will officiate. Private burial will be in Conroe Memorial Park.
Mrs. Walker died Thursday in Crestview Retirement Community.
She was born in Hull, Texas, and lived in Bryan for five years. She was a retired teacher and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pasadena, Texas. She was a longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile and the AARP.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Walker.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Patsy and Eugene Tegeler of College Station and Donna and George R. Stewart of Bryan; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
Mohnike Wheeler Johnson

SANTA ROSA, Calif. — Memorial services for Mohnike Wheeler Johnson, 87, of Santa Rosa are set for 2 p.m. Jan. 28 at Calvary Baptist Church in Bryan.
Burial will be in Bryan City Cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson died Dec. 30 in Montgomery Convalescent Hospital in Santa Rosa.
She was born in Brazos County and lived in Santa Rosa for three years. She formerly lived in Bryan and was a homemaker. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Johnson.
Survivors include two sons, James Johnson of Santa Rosa and Charles Johnson of Allen, Texas; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Elsie L. ‘Miss Elsie’ Pierce

ROCKDALE — Services for Elsie L. “Miss Elsie” Pierce, 92, of Milano are set for 2 p.m. Sunday at the Milano United Methodist Church in Milano.
Burial will be in the Milano Cemetery.

Mrs. Pierce died Friday in Harvest Care Nursing Center in Pearsall, Texas.
She was born in Gause and lived in Milano for 60 years. She retired in 1979, after 47 years as a teacher and serving as principal of Milano Elementary School for many years.
She was a member of the Milano United Methodist Church, where she played the piano and served on many committees.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W.L. Pierce.
Survivors include two sons, Milton Richard Pierce of Milano and Dr. Wayne Robert Pierce of Pflugerville, Texas; a daughter, Wilma Louise Davidson of Milano; a brother, Richard D. Hauser of San Antonio; three sisters, Helen M. Beere and Myrtle E. Lynch, both of San Antonio, and Leasie L. Wilson of Sour Lake, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
