JEWETT — Services for Stella Marie Bennette Ramby, 93, of Jewett are set for 10 a.m. Thursday at Ricks Funeral Home Chapel in Jewett.
The Rev. Billy Bob Evans will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Park Lawndale in Houston.
Mrs. Ramby died Sunday in Palestine Regional Hospital.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jewett and was a resident the Buffalo Nursing Home. She was a licensed vocational nurse at Methodist Hospital in Houston and Health Care prior to her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Ramby; and a daughter, Jean Alexander.
Survivors include three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Dorothy Thelma Smith

FRANKLIN — Services for Dorothy Thelma Smith, 87, of Franklin are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at the McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin.
Burial will be in the Elliott Cemetery in the Elliott community.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Smith died Sunday in Rowlett, Texas.
She was born in the Elliott community and had lived in Franklin most of her life. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Elliott Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Roy Reid and Maryann Smith of Albuquerque, N.M., and Herbert and Ima Smith of Houston; three daughters, Elaine Merryman of Franklin, Judi Holder of Houston and Sharon Reeve of Royce City, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

NEW BADEN — Virginia Grace “Jenna” Pollard, 74, of New Baden died Sunday in a Temple, Texas, hospital.
Arrangements were under the direction of Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
Mrs. Pollard was born in Temple.
She graduated from Temple High School and attended First Baptist Church of Temple.
Mrs. Pollard was preceded in death by her first husband, Louis Eugene Buck, Sr.
Survivors include her husband, Douglas Pollard of New Baden; three sons, Louis Eugene Buck Jr. of White Plains, N.Y., William Garnett Buck of Tampa, Fla., David Ryan Buck of Belair, Texas; one daughter, Marilyn Jean Buck of Oakland, Calif.; a sister, Lina Jean “Bitty” Leonard of Santa Barbara, Calif.; a brother, Leonard Giesler of Corsicana, Texas; and five grandchildren.
Clovis Alene Lovell

Services for Clovis Alene Lovell, 87, of College Station are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. The Rev. Dale Suel of Steep Hollow Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Bryan City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. to service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lovell died Sunday at Southwood Nursing Home.
She was born in Brazos County and had been a bookkeeper for Producers Co-op. She was a member of Eastern Star Bryan Chapter #222 and Assemble #135 Social Order of Beauceaunt.

Mr. Lovell was a member of The Bryan Chapter #222 Order of the Eastern Star, the Cedar Creek Lodge A.F. and A.M.-Yorkrite Mason, Knights of the York Cross of Honor, and a member of Scottish Rite Eastern Body. He was a member of the Steep Hollow Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clovis Alene Lovell.

Mr. Wiederhold died Monday at Burleson St. Joseph Health Care.
He was born in Giddings. He owned the Wiederhold Meat Market in Dime Box. Mr. Wiederhold had been a member of Dime Box Youth Rodeo Association, the Youth Rodeo Association of Texas, St. John’s Lutheran Church of Dime Box, a member of S.P.J.S.T. in Dime Box. He was the justice of the peace for 15 years in Lee County. He graduated from Lexington High School in 1977.
Survivors include his wife, Danita Ford Wiederhold of Dime Box; two daughters, Delia Gail and Lindsey Wiederhold of Dime Box; his mother, Mildred Wiederhold of Dime Box; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Dwane and Jalane Wiederhold of Deanville, and Douglas Wiederhold of Dime Box; a sister-in-law, Carla West of Dime Box; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenny and Ray Ann Ford, Ricky and Doris Ford, Steve and La Donna Jatzlau, all of Dime Box; a mother-in-law, Joyce Ford of Dime Box.

MADISONVILLE — Services for Thomas Esten Blakeney Sr., 83, of Madisonville are set for 10 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Madisonville. The Rev. Jeff Witcher will officiate. Burial will be in the Madisonville City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Madisonville Funeral home.Mr. Blakeney died Monday in Bryan.He was born in Sweetwater, Ala. He lived in Madisonville since 1956 and was a member of the First Baptist Church where he was a deacon. He bought the Stanley Locker Plant and owned Blakeney Locker Plant until 1963, when he became a full-time rancher and cattle trader. He served on the Madisonville ISD School Board, Madisonville City Council, chamber of commerce, was a member of the Texas Southwest Cattle Raiser Association.
He served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II in the South Pacific and Australia.
Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline Blakeney of Madisonville; his son, Tom Blakeney Jr. and wife, Lee of Amarillo; a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Craig Bailey of Madisonville; three brothers, Ed Blakeney of Madisonville, Bud Blakeney of Cartersville, Ga., and W.G. Blakeney of Williamson, Ga.; a sister, Virginia Denson of Americus, Ga.; and six grandchildren.
Clarence Stegemoller

Mr. Stegemoller died Monday in Washington.
He was born in McGregor, Texas. He was a farmer and rancher. He had been a member of the Sons of Hermann Lodge #178 in Washington and a member of Friedens Church of Washington, U.C.C.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mae Stegemoller.

Mr. Turner died Friday in Fort Worth.
He was born in Burleson County. He retired from T.L. James Construction Company. He attended Freeman High School. Mr. Turner was the chairman of the Deacon Board; member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, a member of the Freeman Alumni Association, a life member of VFW, a member of the Christian Homeworker Association, and Burleson County NAACP. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church in Caldwell.
Survivors include his wife, Mary E. Turner of Caldwell; five sons and three daughters-in-law, the Rev. Westley L. Turner of Fort Worth, Lawson L. Turner Jr. and Nan of Dallas, the Rev. Bobby G. and Rosie Turner of Fort Worth, Willis S. and Carolyn Turner of Duncanville, Lonnie E. and Pattye Turner of Navasota; five daughters and sons-in-law, Aquilla E. Mathew of Fort Worth, Priscilla E. Tolbert of Lumberton, N.C., Chauncy L. Turner of Mesquite, Texas, Frankie T. Manning of Bellvue, Wash., Lillie A. Turner of Dallas; a brother, Rev.
