Services for Kelvin Davis, 31, of Bryan are set for 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Bryan. The Rev. Clifton Stewart of Mount Olive Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be at Mumford Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Daniel & Son Funeral Home.
Mr. Davis died Saturday at St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
He was born in Bryan. He had been a health care provider. He attended Bryan High School and Blinn College nursing program. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his godmother, Hattie Yemme of Bryan; a stepfather, Leroy Manning of Bryan; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Howard and Jacqueline Davis, Robert Davis Sr. and Betty, and Lee Anthony Davis, all of Bryan; five sisters and four brothers-in-law, Dora Faye Bowman, Martha Ann Lewis and Robert E. McMurray, Angela Faye Ealmons and Andre Johnson, Karin Don Davis and Lorenza Hill, Latrace Lashonn Davis and Andrew Toler, all of Bryan; his mother, Ora Lee Lewis Davis of Bryan; his grandfather, Jonas Lewis Sr. of Bryan; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and other friends.

James Larry ‘Jimmy’ Mitchell

FRANKLIN — Services for James Larry “Jimmy” Mitchell, 61, of Franklin are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Franklin. The Rev. Jim Manning will officiate. Burial will be in Little Mississippi Cemetery in Robertson County.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin.
Mr. Mitchell died Wednesday in Temple, Texas.
He was born in Milano. He graduated from Franklin High School and attended the University of Houston and Sam Houston State University. He retired from the First National Bank in Franklin, where he was a director and vice president. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Franklin. Mr. Mitchell was also a director and secretary of the Navasota Valley Electric Coop.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Rasberry Mitchell of Franklin; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and David Riley of Franklin, and Melinda and Lance Lilly of Lewisville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Craig and Christina Mitchell of Bryan and Mike and Barbara Axtell of Franklin; his mother, Mildred Mitchell of Franklin; a sister, Patsy Nell Lyles of Waco; his mother-in-law, Verdell Rasberry of Stephenville; nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Lois Pearlene Bollinger

Graveside services for Lois Pearlene Bollinger, 83, of Bryan are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Rest-Ever Memorial Park. Rev. Levan Hubbard of Fellowship Freewill Baptist Church will officiate.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday and 8 to 9 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
Mrs. Bollinger died Thursday at her home.
She was born in Hatfield, Ark. She was active at Fellowship Freewill Baptist Church.
She retired in 1987 with 10 years of service at Texas A&M University.
Survivors include her husband, Henry Bollinger of Bryan; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Verlin Ray Bollinger and Gary and Dennie Jo Bollinger, all of Bryan; one daughter, Brenda Kay Bollinger of Bryan; one sister, Velva Harrison of Weslaco; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Wilbur George ‘Bill’ Comey

Services for Wilbur George “Bill” Comey, 83, of College Station are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at A&M Church of Christ in College Station. Ken Wilkey will officiate. Burial will be at College Station Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home.
Mr. Comey died Wednesday in Round Rock, Texas.
He was born in Lakewood, Ohio. He was an aircraft mechanic and retired from the Pomona, Calif., Police Department, where he maintained the department helicopters and air fleet. Mr. Comey served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of A&M Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Comey.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Dona Comey of Lubbock; five daughters and sons-in-law, Juanita and Bill Spoonts of Cedar Park, Texas, Margie and Ken Wilkey of College Station, Anita and Ted Arndt of Oakley, Calif., Jeanne and Tobe Langley of Houston and Myrna and Roger Hughston of San Diego, Calif.; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Flor Comey of Las Vegas, Nev.; 24 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.

Tilman C. Burns

IOLA — Services for Tilman C. Burns, 80, of Iola are set for 3 p.m. Friday at Evergreen Freewill Baptist Church in Keith. The Rev. Herbert Richards and the Rev. Bill Atkisson of Bright Light Baptist Church in Bryan and Evergreen Freewill Baptist Church in Keith will officiate. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be at 8 a.m. Friday until service time at the church.
Mr. Burns died Wednesday in Iola.
He was born in Keith. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He retired from the city of Navasota. He was a member of Evergreen Freewill Baptist Church in Keith.
Survivors include his wife, Rosy Lee Burns of Iola; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Loyd and Dora Burns of Houston and Robert “Bob” and Patt Burns of Navasota; brothers-in-law, Oscar Wehring of Navasota, Earl and Lou Druckhammer of Bedias; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Audry and Bobby McGee of Navasota, Myrle and Billie McDuffie of Iola; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Anna Druckhammer of Navasota, Alma Vician of Duncanville, Leona and J.W. Winnie Bailey

NAVASOTA — Services for Winnie Bailey, 79, of Anderson are set for 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota.
The Rev. Robert “Bob” Tate of the Anderson Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Brookside Memorial Park in Houston.
Mrs. Bailey died Thursday in Navasota.
She was born in Tahoka, Texas, and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Anderson Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Bailey; and a son, Larry Bailey.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Brenda Bailey of Vidor, Texas; three daughters and sons-in-law, Louese and Clayton Teer and Debbie and David Pasket, all of Anderson, Dene and Herman Barrett of Shiro; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and numerous other relatives.
Andy Blankenship

Andy died Thursday.
He was born in Abilene, Texas, and was a sophomore in high school. He was involved in theater arts and shop and was employed by the Trans Net Truck and Trailer Service in Bryan. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Caldwell, where he was in the youth group and Sunday school.
Survivors include his parents, Nick and Mauri Blankenship of Caldwell; a brother, Adam Blankenship of Austin; two sisters, Machelle Corley and Brandy Blankenship, both of Abilene; grandparents, Marcus and Glyndon Anderson and Lady Nell and Jerry McGee, all of Abilene; and great-grandmothers, Mae Blankenship and Imogene McElreath, both of Abilene.

ROSENBURG, Texas — Services for Grady D. Cook, 72, of Rosenburg are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at the Garmany & Carden Funeral Home in Rosenburg.
Burial will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Martin’s Prairie Cemetery in Grimes County.
Mr. Cook died Thursday in Houston.
He was born in Brazoria, Texas, and served in World War II aboard the Battleship Nevada in the Pacific.
Survivors include his mother, Ruth Cook of Rosenburg; two sons, Michael D. Cook of Temple, Texas, and William F. Cook of Rosenburg; two brothers, Lee. E. Cook and David P. Cook, both of Rosenburg; a sister, Audrey Cotton of Iola; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
Velma Hodge Hunter

BELTON, Texas — Services for Velma Hodge Hunter, 94, of Belton are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at the Heartfield Funeral Home Chapel in Belton.
The Rev. Skip Blancett will officiate. Burial will be in the Salado Cemetery in Salado, Texas.
Mrs. Hunter died Friday in a Belton nursing home.
She was born in Prairie Dell and was a rancher in the Bryan and Johnson City areas for many years. She was a member of the Salado United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Hunter.
Survivors include two sisters, Prudie Capps and Doris Ward, both of Salado; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Liddie Pivonka

Services for Liddie Pivonka, 89, of Bryan are set for 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan.
The Rev. John McCaffrey of St. Joseph Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in Frenstat Cemetery in Frenstat, Texas.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 9 to 11 a.m. Sunday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan and from 1 p.m. to the time of the services Sunday at the church.
A rosary will be recited at 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Pivonka died Thursday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
She was born in Burleson County and was a homemaker. She was a member of the K.J.Z.T. for over 70 years and had her 50-year pin. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she was also a member of the Age Managers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Pivonka; and a son, Bernard Pivonka.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Charles Pivonka, Edward and Pam Pivonka and Ernest and Clarice Pivonka, all of Bryan; a sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Ronald Reck of Ohio; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Mr. Pitcox died Thursday in Bedias.
He was born in Seminole, Texas, and was a truck driver. He was a member of the Singleton Baptist Church.

Veatrice K. Seale

Services for Veatrice K. Seale, 86, of Bryan are set for 2 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to the time of the services Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Seale died Thursday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
She was born in Cass County, Texas, and had lived in Bryan for 73 years. She was a homemaker and was secretary for the Frank Seale Electrical Shop formerly owned and operated by her husband. She had been a member of Central Baptist Church since 1932, where she served as a church hostess, traveled on youth mission trips, was a member of the Ruth Sunday school class and the WMU Night Group and participated in the Easter pageants. She was also a member of the Bryan/College Station Business and Professional Women’s Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Seale; and a son, Bobby Seale.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Frank and Ann Seale of Millican and Hugh and Becky Seale of Bryan; a daughter, Kathryn Seale of Bryan; a sister, Mildred Amato of Madison, Wis.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
