Memorial services for Guy Addison Davis, 80, of Franklin are set for 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Franklin United Methodist Church in Franklin.
The Rev. Chuck Weber of the Franklin United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Bryan City Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan.
Mr. Davis died Wednesday at his home.
He was born in White City, Texas, and was a former resident of Bryan. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1942 and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was past master of the Brazos Union Masonic Lodge No. 192 AF&AM and was a 50-year member of the First United Methodist Church in Bryan before retiring to Camp Creek, where he joined the Franklin United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, May Bell Davis of Franklin; three sons and daughters-in-law, Guy H. and Judy Davis of Houston, Roland O. and Connie Davis of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Gary W. and Donna Davis of Sanger, Texas; and four grandsons.

MARLIN, Texas — Services for Elizabeth Diggs, 90, of Calvert are set for 1 p.m. Saturday at Bethel Grove Baptist Church in Calvert.
The Revs. Bobby Pride and Harry Green will officiate. Burial will be in Beauty Rest Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Paul Funeral Home in Marlin.
Mrs. Diggs died Monday in the Bremond Nursing Home.
She was born in Union Town, Ala.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Diggs, and two sons, Alfred Diggs and Lonnie Diggs.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Earlie and Gerald Ross of Calvert and Ella Kellum of Lancaster, Texas; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert and Helen Diggs and Jimmy Diggs, all of Fort Worth; 19 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; two stepchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

HEARNE — Services for Sherman “Buck” Holmes Jr., 76, of Hearne are set for 1 p.m. Saturday at Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Calvert.
The Rev. William Charles Adams will officiate. Burial will be in the Greater Riverside Cemetery in Hearne.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heartfield Funeral Home in Hearne.
Mr. Holmes died Tuesday at his home.
He was a lifelong resident of Hearne and was retired after 33 years with the Alcoa Aluminum Co. of America in Rockdale. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Hearne.
Survivors include three sons, Sherman Davis of Pflugerville, Texas, Kenneth Earl Thomas and Milton Redman, both of Hearne; and two daughters, Cherly Henderson of Dallas and Louise Mickens of Hearne.

NAVASOTA — Services for Fletcher Lafayette “F.L.” Pool, 97, of College Station are set for 3 p.m. Saturday at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota.
The Rev. Brooks Taylor of Millican United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Wheat Cemetery in Millican.
Mr. Pool died Thursday in College Station.
He was born in and formerly resided in Millican and was retired as the superintendent of schools in Troy, Texas. He was a Mason and was a member of the Millican United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred C. Pool; and a daughter, Leora Elizabeth Pool.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Fletcher Meredith and Joyce Pool of Ordway, Colo.; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Mary Helen and Hunt Robertson of Tyler, Mildred Elaine Dunn of Galveston and Nancy Ann and Louis E. Barker of Millican; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

JEWETT — Services for Ethel Irene Lambright, 86, of Farmersville, Texas, are set for 2 p.m. Sunday at Ricks Funeral Home in Jewett.
The Rev. James Engle of the First Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Marquez Cemetery in Marquez.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to the time of the services Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lambright died Tuesday in Farmersville.
She was born in Lee County, Miss., and formerly lived in Marquez. She was a homemaker and was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Lambright; and a son, David W. Lambright.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Henry and Mae Norris of Edmonds, Wash., Earl and Noreen Cooper of Hudson, Mass., and Johnny and Julia Cooper of Baldwyn, Miss.; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Yvonne Flannery of Spring, Texas, Janis and Frank Jones of Marquez and Ava and Ron Denison of Farmersville; a daughter-in-law, Pat Lambright of Dallas; a brother; three sisters; 22 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was born in Caldwell and was a lifelong resident of Bryan. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Bryan and worked for the City of College Station in the Parks and Recreation Department.
Survivors include his wife, Glenna Martinez of Bryan; a son, Phillip Martinez of Bryan; two daughters, Rebecca Martinez of Bryan and Lisa Martinez of San Angelo, Texas; his parents, Lorenzo Martinez of Bryan and Lupe Martinez of College Station; a brother, Patrick Martinez of Bryan; and a sister, Barbie Miller of College Station.

Mrs. Muth died Friday in Navasota.
She was born in Tyler and was a member of St. Joseph’s Altar Society in Stoneham. She was a volunteer with the Community Christian Food Bank, AARP, Navasota Blood Drive, Guardian Angel Senior Club and with individuals needing care and assistance. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Houston before moving to Stoneham.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Frances and Derrel Campbell of Plantersville, Texas, and Martha and Gerald Campbell of Stoneham; three sisters, Victoria Kloss of Houston, Elizabeth Willis of Dallas and Josephine Wetuski of Bremond; two brothers, Ray Ohendalski of Houston and Johnny Ohendalski of Fort Worth; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Quincy Roshon Norman Jr. and Quinton Rodrigo Norman, twin infant boys, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Babyland in Bryan City Cemetery.

Quincy and Quinton died Thursday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center.

Berniece E. Ragan

CENTERVILLE — Services for Berniece E. Ragan, 78, of Leona, Texas, are set for 2 p.m. Monday at the Walters Funeral Home in Centerville.

Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. to the time of the services Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ragan died Thursday at her home.
She was born in Missouri and had lived in Leona for 10 years. She was raised in an orphanage and was a ward of the state of Missouri until she was 21. She was a non-denominational minister and evangelist for over 30 years and traveled throughout the United States and abroad. She owned and operated “Rose Haven” and raised and sold flowers and herbs.
Survivors include her husband, Willis E. “Bill” Ragan of Leona; a step-son, Willis D. Ragan of Jacksonville, Fla.; and a step-daughter, Dorothy Louise Ragan of Jacksonville.
William Raleigh Self

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Services for William Raleigh Self, 89, of Rock Hill are set for 3 p.m. Monday at Lakewood Baptist Church in Rock Hill.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel in Rock Hill.
Mr. Self died Friday at his home.
He was born in Kershaw County, S.C., and was a charter member of Lakewood Baptist Church, where he was a deacon, Sunday school superintendent and teacher and Lay speaker for area Baptist churches. He was a former member of the Rock Hill Lions Club and was retired from the J.P. Stevens Industrial Plant as Weave Room Supervisor.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Bertha Campbell Self and Ella Inez Jordan.
Survivors include four sons, Dr. Donnie Self of College Station, David Self, the Rev. Glen Self and Jerry Self, all of Rock Hill; two daughters, Frances S. Mynatt of Gatlinburg, Tenn., and Peggy S. Brazil of Rock Hill; a brother, L.V. Self of Great Falls, S.C.; 21 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
