BALLINGER, Texas — Services for Artie Mae Fikes, 96, of Bryan are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at Rains-Seale Funeral Home in Ballinger.
The Rev. Tony King will officiate. Burial will be in Old Runnels Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
Mrs. Fikes died Sunday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Lee Fikes.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, H.C. and Delores Fikes of Pioche, Nev., Robert and Mary Fikes of San Antonio and Charles and Sue Fikes of Hearne; a daughter, Opal Vindiola of Bryan; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

NAVASOTA — Graveside services for Lance Joseph Montemayor and Destiny Rose Montemayor, infant twins, were held at noon Monday in the Babyland Section of Oakland Cemetery in Navasota.
Deacon Peter Sechelski of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Anderson officiated.
Arrangements were under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota.
Lance and Destiny died Sunday in College Station Medical Center.
Survivors include their mother, Diana Patricia Montemayor of Navasota; grandparents, Ramon and Alicia Montemayor of Navasota; and numerous aunts, uncles and other relatives.

Graveside services for Jesse Sustayta, 46, of Bryan are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bryan City Cemetery.
The Rev. Herman Sustayta will officiate.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan.
Mr. Sustayta died Sunday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
He was a lifelong resident of Bryan and graduated from Bryan High School. He retired in 1996 from Wal-Mart.
Survivors include his wife, Evyonne Sustayta of Bryan; four step-sons and a daughter-in-law, Elias and Kamesha LaFrance, Ernesto Calderon, Christopher Calderon and Samuel Lambrano, all of Bryan; two step-daughters, Yolanda Calderon and Angelica Calderon, both of Bryan; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Rev. Herman and Anselma Sustayta and Martin and Felipa Sustayta, both of Bryan, Frank and Nellie Sustayta of Lyford, Texas, Bobby and Lucy Sustayta of Dallas and Alfonso and Joyce Sustayta of Houston; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Rose and Kevin Decharry of Spring, Texas, Angie and Rudy Rivas of Bryan and Patricia and Bernard Goetz of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and a step-grandchild.

ROCKDALE — Services for Levy Caraway, 87, of Rockdale are set for 10 a.m. Thursday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale. Burial will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery. The Rev. Jimmy Haile will officiate.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Caraway died Sunday in the V.A. Hospital in Temple.
He was born in Lexington, Texas. He was retired from the U.S. Navy. He worked as an industrial art instructor for the Bureau of Federal Prisons and worked for Porterville State Hospital in California.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Caraway.
Survivors include his son, Jesse Raymond Caraway of Porterville, Calif.; five daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and J.D. Cloud of Plano, Texas, Terry and Carl Renollet of Lompoc, Calif., Vivian Sue Caraway of Porterville, Bennie Jane and Jim Lesher of Yucca Valley, Calif., and Patricia and Andy Auld of Ridgecrest, Calif.; two sisters, Jessie Lois Sturrock of Colmesneil, Texas, and Bennie Holley of Rockdale, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Leo Floyd Keelan

STOW, Ohio — Graveside services for Leo Floyd Keelan, 80, of Stow, Ohio, formerly of Navasota, are set for 11 a.m. Thursday at Oakland Cemetery in Navasota. The Rev. Jim Stevens of First Baptist Church of Navasota will officiate.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Thursday until service time at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota.
Mr. Keelan died Sunday in Streetsboro, Ohio.
He was born in Navasota. He was an engineer for United States Gypsum Co., a member of the Rotary Club in Sweetwater, Texas, a member of the Amateur Radio Club in Waco, a member of Experimental Air Craft Association in Fort Dodge, Iowa, and was a graduate of Texas A&M University.
He served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps. during World War II and retired as a major. He was in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1945 to 1960.
Survivors include his wife, Elouise D. Keelan of Stow, Ohio; two sons, Leo D. Keelan of Minot, N.D., and Thomas F. Keelan of San Francisco, Calif.; one daughter, Kathie K. Slater of Kent, Ohio; five grandchildren, and numerous other relatives.

BRENHAM — Services for Melvin E. Hahn, 87, of Brenham, are set for 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brenham. Pastor J. Elliott Pancoast and Pastor Lawrence Bade will officiate. Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
Mr. Hahn died Monday at his home.
He was born in the Gay Hill community and attended Prairie Hill School. He had been a partner for 25 years at Brenham Electric Motors. He also owned and operated Hahn Washateria. He was a house manager of the Sons of Hermann Lodge from 1974 to 1999.
He was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brenham.
Survivors include his wife, Gail Posey Hahn of Brenham; one son and daughter-in-law, A.L. and Alice Hahn of Houston; two daughters and son-in-law, Patricia and Mark Jahn of Yoakum, Texas, and Trisha L. Hahn of Houston; stepson and daughter-in-law, Charlie and Misty Hixson, of Perryton, Texas; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Charlene and Brandt Burwell of Freemont, Neb.; numerous grandchildren and relatives.

Mrs. Clayton died Sunday in the Manor Oaks Nursing Home in Rockdale.
She was born in Milam County.
She was a member of Springfield Baptist Church in Liberty Hill Community, near Rockdale.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur L. Clayton.
Survivors include two nieces, Curtis Ray Jamison of Yoakum, Texas, and Percy Gaines of Temple, Texas; one step-niece, Doris Mickey of Los Angeles; and a special friend, Gladys Gipson of Rockdale.

Mrs. Schulte died Monday in Trinity Care Center in Brenham.
She was born in Burton. She attended Greenvine and Burton schools. She was a life member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Greenvine, where she served as Sunday school teacher for many years. She worked for the Brenham Independent School District for 23 years.
Survivors include her husband, Melvin Schulte; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Bonnie Schulte of Brenham, Roger and Linda Schulte of Burton; four grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Ora Nell Jurries of Brenham, Thelma Jurries of Brenham, Evelyn Henkhaus of Torrance, Calif.

He was born in Ridge, Texas. He served in the Army Air Corps for four years during World War II.

Mrs. Liner died Tuesday in Bryan.
She was born in Calvert. She was a retired seamstress and worked for Villa Maria Cleaners for 20 years before she retired. She had been a resident of Bryan since 1968.
Survivors include her husband, Charlie Liner of Bryan; a daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Michael Hubacek; one granddaughter; one grandson; a stepson and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Janet Liner; two stepdaughters, Charlene Denton and Meloa Lee Ball; a sister and brother-in-law, Lois and James Mackey; and several nieces and nephews.
