Graveside services for Louise Oliver, 83, of Bryan are set for 10 a.m. Monday at Bryan City Cemetery.
The Rev. John Free, Minister of Adults at First Baptist Church in Bryan, will officiate.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.
Mrs. Oliver died Thursday in St. Joseph Manor.
She was a lifelong resident of Bryan and was retired from the Social Security Administration. She received a master’s degree in English from the University of Texas at Austin and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bryan. She was also a member of the Esther Circle, Daughters of the American Revolution, Daughters of the Republic of Texas, the Women’s Club and the Brazos Heritage Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Boyce B. Oliver.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Dr. Boyce B. Oliver Jr. of San Antonio and John D. and Sandra Oliver of North Richland Hills, Texas; a daughter, Noell Oliver Bell of Bryan; a brother, Joe P. Dyer of Santa Rosa, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Bryan Eunice Sunday School Class or the Bryan Public Library.
Lee Rosenkranz

CALDWELL — Services for Lee Rosenkranz, 86, of Caldwell are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell.
The Rev. Henry Beseda will officiate. Burial will be in the Caldwell Masonic Cemetery.
Mr. Rosenkranz died Thursday in the Itasca Nursing Center in Itasca, Texas.
He was born in Caldwell and was a retired farmer and rancher. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a member of VFW Post No. 4458 of Caldwell and the Caldwell Brethren Church.
Survivors include two sons, Clarence Rosenkranz of Caldwell and Alvin Rosenkranz of Bryan; a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Donald Lampo of Bryan; a stepson and daughter-in-law, Ray and Betty Wilhelm of Everman, Texas; three step-daughters, Dorothy Tipton of Menard, Texas, Linda Hayes of California and Nita Dodd of Houston; a brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Laura Rosenkranz of Bryan; a sister and brother-in-law, Inora and John Herman of Kurten; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lorena Jaster Stolz

BURTON — Services for Lorena Jaster Stolz, 86, of Carmine are set for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Burton.
The Revs. Glen Schoeneberg and Jerry Wickel will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery .
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Foehner Funeral Home in Burton.
Mrs. Stolz died Wednesday in Trinity Medical Center.
She was born in Burton and was a homemaker and seamstress. She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, where she was a member of the United Church of Christ Women’s Circle II.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Henry Stolz.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, James and Sharon Stolz of Brenham; a daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Johnnie W. Schroeder of Brenham; two sisters-in-law, Lydia Jaster of Burton and Lenora Stolz of Brenham; four grandsons; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Joe B. ‘J.B.’ Thaxton Sr.

Services for Joe B. “J.B.” Thaxton Sr., 92, of College Station are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lemons Chapel in Plainview, Texas.
Gregory Brady will officiate. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan and from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.
Mr. Thaxton died Wednesday in Sherwood Health Care Center.
He was born in Stephenville, Texas, and had lived in College Station since 1988. He was a retired farmer and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Plainview.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Flora M. Thaxton.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Peggy Thaxton of College Station; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Mae W. Wright

Mrs. Wright died Thursday in College Station Medical Center.
She was born in Aledo, Texas, and had lived in College Station since 1927. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and A&M United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel R. Wright; a son, Robert Wright; and a daughter, Louise Ward.
Survivors include seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to A&M United Methodist Church or to a charity of choice.
Deborah Lee Jeanes Dutson

Memorial services for Deborah Lee Jeanes Dutson, 35, of Champlin, Minn., are set for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church in Bryan.
The Revs. Bob Richers , associate pastor of the First United Methodist Church, and Jim Matis, bishop in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, will officiate.

Mrs. Dutson died Friday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
She was born in Temple, Texas, and formerly lived in Bryan. She graduated from Bryan High School and later earned an associate degree in floral design.
Survivors include her husband, Brad Dutson of Champlin; a daughter, Abby Lea Dutson of Champlin; two brothers, David Jeanes of Waco and Will Jeanes of Dallas; her parents, Bill and Mary Ann Jeanes of Bryan; and grandfather, A.W. “Al” Jeanes of Bryan.
Phena Fazzino Torrano Farmer

Services for Phena Fazzino Torrano Farmer, 77, of College Station are set for 10 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Bryan.
The Rev. David Konderla of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in College Station will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Monday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
An Altar Society rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. Sunday and an additional rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Farmer died Friday in Park Place Assisted Living Center in College Station.
She was a born in Bryan and was a lifelong resident of the Bryan-College Station area. She was a homemaker and was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, where she was in the Altar Society.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, John A. and Tana Torrano of Huntsville, Ala.; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Teresa M. Torrano and Susan J. and Glenn Kelly, all of Bryan, and Anna C. and David Prescott of Tucson, Ariz.; four sisters, Lena Degelia, Louise Marino, Callie Ruffino and Francis F. Scanlin, all of Bryan; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Gwendolyn Sue 'Gwen' Phillips

ROCKDALE — Services for Gwendolyn Sue “Gwen” Phillips, 54, of Milano are set for 1 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rockdale.

Visitation will begin at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Phillips died Friday in Plano, Texas.
She was born in Houston and had lived in Milano for 10 years. She was a dispatcher with the Rockdale Police Department for the last 10 years and was a former night manager at Parsley’s & Caldwell Answering Service. She was a former president of the Milano PTA and a was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Phillips Sr. of Milano; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Chuck and Kathy Phillips and Gene and Paula Lee Phillips, all of Rockdale, and Christopher Phillips of Milano; a daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Robbie Westbrook of Milano; her parents, Frank Sr. and Vera Miller of Houston; two brothers, Frank Miller Jr. and George Miller, both of Houston; a sister, Patsy Kelly of Plano; and nine grandchildren.

Mrs. Wallis died Friday in Falls Community Hospital in Marlin.
She was born in Pine Bluff, Ark., and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Wallis.

He was born in Cuidad Mier Temp., Mexico, and was a self-employed welder. He was a member of Santa Teresa Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Crecencia Gonzalez of Bryan; three sons and daughters-in-law, Arturo Jr. and Tina Gonzalez, Juan and Mariana Gonzalez and Luis G. Gonzalez and Yesenia Calvo, all of Bryan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth and Ben Rios and Sonia and Richard Esquivel, all of Bryan; a daughter-in-law and son-in-law, Bertha and Javier Martinez of Bryan; two brothers, Mario Gonzalez of Houston and Hermilo Gonzalez of Mexico; two sisters, Gloria Garcia and Aminta Canales, both of Mexico; his father-in-law, Juan Carlos of Mexico; 12 grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
