CALDWELL Services for Lydia Marguerite Zalmanek, 90, of Caldwell are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at the Brethren Church of Caldwell.
The Revs. Henry Beseda and Joseph Polasek of the Brethren Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Caldwell Masonic Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, with the family present from 6 to 8:30 p.m., at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell.
Mrs. Zalmanek died Wednesday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan.
She was born in Burleson County and was a lifelong resident of Caldwell. She was a cosmetologist and was a member of the New Tabor SPJST Lodge No. 17 and the Burleson County Czech Singers. She was a member of the Brethren Church, where she was on the Bereavement Committee, the Brethren Christian Sisters, and sang with the church choir for more than 20 years. She and her husband began the Zalmanek Heavy Equipment Co.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe William Zalmanek Sr.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Jeanie Zalmanek of Bryan and J.W. and Barbara Zalmanek of Caldwell; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jo Ann and Marvin Worthington of Caldwell and Beverly and Bill Dillard of Bryan; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Brethren Church of Caldwell, Bryan-College Station Brethren Church or the Burleson County Czech Heritage Museum.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home in Navasota.
Mrs. Rush died Monday in St. Luke Hospital in Houston.
She was born in Iola and was a domestic.
Survivors include her husband, Ocie Rush Sr. of Navasota; five sons, Ocie Rush Jr. and Irie Lee Rush, both of Navasota, David Rush of Killeen, Texas, Robert Earl Rush of Bryan and Donald Wayne Rush of Corsicana, Texas; three daughters, Annie Bullock of Houston, Ida Johnson of Fresno, Texas, and Annette Taylor Minor of Navasota; a brother, C.J. Taylor of Houston; 22 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

BRENHAM Graveside services for Leora Jane Walker, 82, of Snook are set for 11 a.m. Friday at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.

Mrs. Walker died Wednesday in Trinity Medical Center in Brenham.
She was born in Mabank, Texas, and was a teacher in Texas City, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin L. Walker.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Bonnie Walker of Snook; a daughter, Melva Faye Walker of Texas City; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Arthur and Lavonne Collins of League City, Texas, and Bill and Tease Collins of Conroe, Texas; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

NAVASOTA Services for Martin Lopez Lopez, 28, of Navasota will be held in Moroleon, Gto, Mexico.
A rosary was recited at 4 p.m. Thursday at Lindley-Robertson-Holt Funeral Chapel in Navasota.
Mr. Lopez died Tuesday in Navasota.
He was born in Moroleon, Gto, Mexico, and had lived in Navasota for three years. He worked as a burner for Trinity Industries.
Survivors include a son, Michael Lopez; his parents, Guadalupe and Esther Lopez of Moroleon, Gto, two brothers, Joel Lopez of Navasota and Jesus Lopez; and a sister, Gloria Espinosa.
Fannie Mae Robertson

MARLIN, Texas Services for Fannie Mae Robertson of Austin are set for noon Saturday at the South New Hope Baptist Church in Franklin.
Burial will be in Owenville Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Robertson Funeral Home in Marlin.
Mrs. Robertson died Friday at her home.
She formerly lived in Franklin.
Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Vernell and Archbishop S.V. Teague of Austin; two brothers and a sister-in-law, James Rozell Robertson of Dallas and George and Mary Robertson of Washington D.C.; and numerous other relatives.
James E. Jim Ross Sr.

HOUSTON Services for James E. Jim Ross Sr., 73, of Houston are set for 10 a.m. Monday at the chapel of the Settegast-Kopf Co. in Houston.
The Rev. M. Eugene Vickrey will officiate. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in St. Stephens Episcopal Church Cemetery in Wimberly, Texas.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Settegast-Kopf Co. Funeral Directors in Houston.
Mr. Ross died Tuesday.
He was born in Bryan and had lived in Houston since 1953. He graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in Bryan and earned a law degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He served in the Merchant Marines during World War II. He was an attorney in Houston at various firms and served as assistant U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Texas before going into private practice. He founded the firm of Ross, Griggs and Harrison in 1969 and spent his last years of practice with Ross and Associates. He served on the Ethics Committee of the State Bar of Texas and was a member of Holland Lodge No. 1, the Arabia Shrine and numerous professional organizations.
Survivors include his wife, Kathryn L. Ross; a son, Jim Ross Jr.; three daughters and a son-in-law, Jeri Ross and Robert Skipper of Wimberly, Kay Ross of Wimberly and Jean Ross of Austin; a sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Fredric Fleming; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Bill and Beverly Ross and George Ross; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

Mrs. Gray died Wednesday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
She was born in Rising Star, Texas, and lived in College Station since 1957. She was a homemaker and was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Jack Douglas Gray.
Survivors include a son, William D. Bill Gray of College Station.

June Katherine Hagan, 82, of Bryan died Thursday in St. Joseph Manor.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.
Mrs. Hagan was born in Ada, Kan., and in Bryan for three years. She was a retired park director and her body has been donated to medical science.
Survivors include her husband, George Hagan of Bryan; a son, James Hagan of Atlanta; and a daughter, Sandra Hagan of Key West, Fla.
Mavis Evelyn Mosley Lanehart

Mrs. Lanehart died Friday at her home.
She was born in Madison County and was co-owner of the Lanehart Cabinet Company. She was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she was in the Reapers Sunday school class. She was also a member of the Sweet Sounds Dulcimer Group.
Survivors include her husband, Fred Lanehart of Bryan; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Tommy and Ginger Lanehart and Edward Lanehart, all of Bryan; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Barbara and Dave Johnson of Bryan, Clara and John Hubacek of Beaumont, Texas, and Mary Lanehart of Harlingen, Texas; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Vickrey died Thursday in Temple, Texas.
She was born in Bremond and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bremond. She was also a member of the Franklin Chapter No. 311 Order of Eastern Star and the Franklin Country Club. She retired to Bremond in 1971.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Vickrey.
Survivors include two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Frances and Lewis Irons of Baytown, Texas, and Mrs. Cecil Allen of Bremond; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Leonetti died Friday.
She was born in the Mississippi Delta and lived in Hearne since 1981. She formerly lived in Dallas and worked in the health insurance industry. In Hearne she worked with the Hearne Democrat, the local newspaper. Her body was donated to the A&M University Health Science Center College of Medicine.
