A memorial service for Gertrude Anne Keady, 80, of Bryan is set for 3 p.m. Saturday at Crestview Retirement Community in Bryan.
Mrs. Keady died Saturday evening at Crestview Retirement Community.
She was born in Orange, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Fredrick Keady.
Survivors include two sons, Ted Keady of Houston and Ricky Keady of Huntsville; one daughter and son-in-law, Anne and Glenn Johnson of Bryan; one daughter-in-law, Cindy Keady of Houston; one sister, Genavive Wimberly of Sulfer, La.; one grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

George Richard Rieger

DECATUR, Texas — Services for George Richard Rieger, 75, of Denton were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Coker Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur, Texas.
The Rev. R. Roy Baines officiated. Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery.
Mr. Rieger died Saturday at Denton Good Samaritan retirement center.
He was born in Sanger, Texas. He graduated from Southern Methodist University. He fought in the Battle of the Bulge from December 1944 to January 1945 in the European Theater.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Rieger of Denton; five daughters, Therese Williams of Boyd, Texas, Jan Hesselman of North Carolina, Margaret Rieger of Sugarland, Texas, Laura Maisel of Spring, Texas, and Nancy Conception of Hawaii; two step-daughters, Pam McElhaney of Denton and Lea Richards of Denton; one sister, Glen La Ray Bond of Bryan; 10 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
August Heise Jr.

CONNERSVILLE, Ind. — Services for August Heise Jr., 76, of Connersville, Ind., were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home in Connersville, Ind.
The Rev. Lester Rose officiated. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery in Greenwood, Ind.
Mr. Heise died Friday at Fayette Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Hempstead, Texas. He worked for the Texas Department of Transportation and was a member of the Lighthouse Word Church in Hempstead.
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Heise; one step-daughter and step-son-in-law, Joyce and Jim Linn of Connersville; three step-grandchildren; one brother, Buster Heise of Hempstead; one sister, Jewel Viola Jackson of Hempstead; and several nieces and nephews.
Daisy Nell McGinty

PASADENA, Texas — Services for Daisy Nell McGinty, 76, of Pasadena, Texas, are set for 10 a.m. Friday at St. Pius Catholic Church in Pasadena.
Burial will be in Harmony Baptist Cemetery near Navasota. A rosary service will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.
Mrs. McGinty died Tuesday.
She was born in Galveston, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Baxton H. McGinty Sr.
Survivors include one son, Baxton H. McGinty Jr.; three daughters, Sandra Ann Huckaby, Cynthia Kay McCoy and Linda Sue Beal.
Thomas Lee Nichols

CAMERON — Graveside services for Thomas Lee Nichols, 75, of Cameron are set for 10 a.m. Friday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cameron.
The Rev. James E. Lafferty will officiate.
Mr. Nichols died Wednesday in Temple.
He was born in Rockdale, was an upholsterer and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Survivors include two sons, Terry Nichols of Cameron and Larry Nichols of Caldwell; one daughter, Linda Nichols Arnett of Oregon; one step-son, Allen Taylor of Cameron; and six grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.

Mrs. Watson died Wednesday at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan.
She was born in Tarrant County, Texas. She owned and operated Bryan Answering Service in Bryan and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Joseph R. and Lou Ann Gelber of Bryan; one daughter, Leah E. Gelber of Bryan; two sisters, Bea Patterson of Houston and Doris Patterson of Bryan; four grandchildren; and several nieces.

Beth Black Moser

Services for Beth Black Moser, 49, of Wichita Falls, Texas, are set for 2 p.m. Friday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.

ARLINGTON, Texas — Services for Effie Sampson, 92, of Arlington are set for 2 p.m. Friday at First Church of the Nazarene in Arlington.
The Revs. James Robertson, Ralph West, Bob Mahaffey and Geoffrey Gunter will officiate. Burial will be in Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Moore Funeral Home.
Mrs. Sampson died Monday in Arlington.
She was born in Cale, Ark., and was a teacher and homemaker. She was awarded a distinguished service award from the Church of the Nazarene in 1998 for 45 years of service to the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Raymond Sampson.
Survivors include one son, James Sampson of College Station; four daughters, Joyce McPhail of Giddings, Mary Babers of Arlington, Betty Atchley of Richardson and Emily Whatley of Arlington; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two cousins.

ROCKDALE — Services for Carrie Movalene Brandstetter, 91, of Rockdale are set for 3 p.m. Saturday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.
Burial will be in Murray Cemetery near Rockdale.

Mrs. Brandstetter died Wednesday in Richards Memorial Hospital in Rockdale.
She was born in Booneville, Miss., and had lived in Rockdale for most of her life. She was a homemaker and had worked as a cashier for Eckerd Drugs in Houston. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Rockdale.
Survivors include a son, Byron Brandstetter of Lancaster, Calif.; a daughter, Barbara Gainey of Surfside Beach, Texas; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services for James Melvin Henzler, 53, of Houston are set for 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Henzler died Wednesday at his home.
He was born in Slaton, Texas, and was a truck driver. He formerly was a resident of Bryan.
Survivors include his mother, Mildred Henzler of Bryan; a sister, Carolyn Henzler of New York City; and a daughter, Kristen Henzler of Bellville, Texas.
Gregory Pairett

SCHERTZ, Texas — Services for Gregory Pairett, 41, of Schertz are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at the Schertz Funeral Home in Schertz.
Dr. Wayne Breezee will officiate. Burial will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Val Verde Baptist Cemetery in Val Verde, Texas.
Mr. Pairett died Wednesday.
