Services for Jose G. Martinez Sr., 73, of Bryan are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at Templo Sulamita in Bryan.
The Rev. Edward Hernandez will officiate. Burial will be in Bryan City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday and 8 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
A prayer service will be at 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Martinez died Thursday morning at his home.
He was born in Hidalgo County, Texas, and was a retired grounds keeper at Bryan City Cemetery. He was a member of Templo La Hermosa Pentecostal Church in Caldwell.
Survivors include his wife, Barbarita Martinez of Bryan; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Jose G. Jr. and Yolanda Martinez of Bryan, Arturo and Minerva Martinez of Navasota, Moises Martinez of Dallas, and Samuel Martinez of Bryan; one daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Ricardo Martinez of Bryan; one brother, Santos Martinez of Mexico; two sisters, Cesaria Rodriguez and Trinidad Garza, both of Mexico; 21 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Vernon Kenneth Shaw Sr.
June 10, 1931 — April 19, 2000
Services for Vernon Kenneth Shaw Sr., 68, of College Station are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in College Station.
The Rev. Bruce M. Wood will officiate. Burial will be in the College Station City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station, and from 1 p.m. to the time of the service Saturday at the church.
Mr. Shaw died Wednesday at his home.
He retired in 1995 after 38 years with G.T.E. as the general manager. He served in the U.S. Army, was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, graduated from Howard Payne University and served on the Board of Trustees at Compass Bank and the Board at the College Station Medical Center. He also held various positions with the Chamber of Commerce.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Shaw of College Station; five sons and four daughters-in-law, Vernon Kenneth and Sheryl Shaw of Crosby, Texas, Robert Keith and Vickie Shaw of Irving, Texas, Richard Ray Bowhay of Fairbanks, Alaska, James Kalar and Tonya Bowhay of College Station and Mark Allan and Stephanie Bowhay of Bryan; two daughters and a son-in-law, Janna Marie and Mickey Nixon of Lubbock and Sarah Cheree Hickson of College Station; and 13 grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Brazos Valley or the Dr. Carroll Shaw Memorial Center in Africa.
Carolyn Ramirez

A memorial service for Carolyn Ramirez, 50, of Bryan is set for 4 p.m. Saturday at Brazos Miracle Outreach Church in Bryan.
The Rev. Ruben Canales will officiate.
Ms. Ramirez was born in Bryan and was a beautician.
Survivors include five brothers, Roy Ramirez of Sherman, Texas, Felix Ramirez of Vallejo, Calif., Frank Ramirez of Vallejo, Calif., Robert Ramirez of San Diego, Calif., and Charles Ramirez of Bryan; and three sisters, Josephine Lopez of Monterrey, Mexico, Sarah Sifuentez of Bryan and Beatrice Horton of Bryan.
Maryellen R. Anderson
Oct. 29, 1958 — April 19, 2000
Services for Maryellen R. Anderson, 41, of College Station are set for 10 a.m. Monday at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in College Station.
The Rev. Ben Aurand will officiate. Burial will be in College Station Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home.
Mrs. Anderson died Wednesday morning in Travis County.
She was born in Bryan. She was a banking professional for 17 years in the Bryan-College Station area and most recently was banking center manager for Compass Bank. She was honored as top banking center manager of Texas community banks at a ceremony in Birmingham, Ala. She served on the board of directors for Camp Allen.
Survivors include her husband, William “Andy” Anderson of College Station; two sons, Brandon Kyle Anderson and Nolan Daniel Anderson, both of College Station; one daughter, Ellie Lynn Anderson of College Station; parents, Robert O. and Marjorie Reid; parents-in-law, William and Ann Nelson; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Robert and Tina Reid of Sugarland, Tom Reid of Great Falls, Va., and Russell Reid of Bryan; and two sisters, Nancy Reid of Reston, Va., and Carol McCormick of College Station.

Charles R. “Chuck” Maly
April 10, 1932 – April 4, 2000
Services were held earlier this month for Charles Robert Maly, 67, who died at his home in Modesto, Calif.
Mr. Maly was a native of Bryan, Texas. He lived in Modesto for 62 years. He was a 27-year employee of Sharpe Depot of Lathrop; he was a warehouseman. He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church. He was an Army veteran, serving from 1952 to 1954.
He is survived by his wife, Vivian Maly of Modesto; and daughter, Carrie Erickson of Sonora, Calif; an aunt and uncle, Johnnie and Sue Maly of Bryan; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Burial was at Lakewood Memorial Park in Hughson, Calif.
Mary M. Butler
Oct. 23, 1914 — April 19, 2000
Services for Mary M. Butler, 85, of Bryan are set for 11 a.m. Monday at the Martin Luther King Street Church of Christ in Bryan.
Bro. Cornell Nealy of the Martin Luther King Street Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Jones-Washington Mortuary in Bryan.
A wake service will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Butler died Wednesday in Bryton Inn Health Care.
She was born in Midway and was a lifelong resident of Bryan. She was retired and was a member of the Martin Luther King Street Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bass Butler Sr.
Survivors include two sons, Bass Butler Jr. of San Jose, Calif., and Dr. Fred C. Thomas of Dallas; four daughters, Ora Lee Cooper of Oklahoma City, Laraine Butler and Emma Dean Williams, both of Bryan, and Ruby Butler Hurd of Los Angeles; a brother, Hattiway Thomas of Houston; 49 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Joanna Marie Camarillo

Services for Joanna Marie Camarillo, 23, of College Station are set for 4 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan.
The Rev. John McCaffrey of St. Joseph Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in College Station City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Funeral Chapel College Station.
A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Ms. Camarillo died Friday in Brazos County.
She was born in Corpus Christi, and was a lifelong resident of College Station. She was a library assistant for the College Station Independent School District and graduated in 1995 from A&M Consolidated High School. She was a member of F.H.A., PALS, and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she taught religion classes.
Survivors include her parents, Mingo and Vilma Camarillo of College Station; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Amy Camarillo and Hector M. and Ashley Camarillo, all of College Station; a sister, Debbie L. Camarillo of College Station; her grandparents, Mario J. Navejar Sr. and Emma H. Camarillo, both of San Diego, Texas; and numerous other relatives.

Mary Martha Sechelski Decker

NAVASOTA — Services for Mary Martha Sechelski Decker, 96, of Anderson are set for noon Monday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Anderson.
The Rev. Louis Sikorski of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in Madisonville City Cemetery in Madisonville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota.
A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Decker died Friday in Grimes St. Joseph Health Center.
She was born in Anderson and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Decker.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Marvin Laverne and Theresa Decker of Onalaska, Texas, and John Carl “J.C.” Decker of Bryan; three daughters and a son-in-law, Ruby Lee and David Kimich of Anderson, Betty Jo Alford of Water Valley, Miss., and Bertie Cone of Houston; a sister, Sally Snow of Anderson; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives.

Donald K. Deno

Services for Donald K. Deno, 60, of Bryan are set for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
The Rev. Reggie Nelson will officiate.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m. to the time of the services Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Deno died Friday at his home.
He was born in St. Peter, Minn., and had lived in Bryan since 1981. He formerly lived in LeSueur, Minn. He worked 15 years for the City of Bryan as a heavy equipment operator and was a member of Zion United Church o f Christ in LeSueur.
Survivors include his wife, Kay Huntley Deno of Bryan; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Dawn Deno of Bryan; a brother, Jerry Deno of LeSueur, Minn.; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services for Brandon Joel Frailicks, infant son of Joel and Melanie Frailicks of Bryan, are set for 11 a.m. Monday at Rest-Ever Memorial Park Cemetery in Bryan.

Arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
Brandon died Friday in College Station Medical Center.
Survivors include his parents, Joel and Melanie Frailicks of Bryan; a brother, Ryan Allen Frailicks of Bryan; grandparents, T.A. and Brenda Frailicks of Wellborn, Texas, Linda and Allen Menefee of Bryan and Paul and Helen Silva of Milano, Texas; and great-grandfather, John T. Van Meter of Lancaster, Texas.
