HEARNE — Graveside services for Virginia Robertson Hairston, 76, of Temple, Texas, are set for 2 p.m. Monday at Norwood Cemetery in Hearne.
Phil Snell of Sealy, Texas, will officiate.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at Heartfield Funeral Home in Hearne.
Mrs. Hairston died Thursday.
She was born in Calvert and had lived in Temple for 2 years. She was a homemaker and was a Baptist. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and served as National Archon of Delta Rho Delta Sorority.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. (Ret.) Richard M. Hairston.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard M. Jr. and Marjorie Hairston of Salado, Texas, and John Patrick and Susan Hairston of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; a daughter, Nancy Ortiz of Kernersville, N.C.; two sisters, Marvelyn Neal of Bryan and June Snell of Sealy, Texas; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Edna Hilton
Nov. 5, 1917 — April 1, 2000
ROCKDALE — Graveside services for Edna Hilton, 82, of Thorndale are set for 2 p.m. Sunday at the Salty Cemetery near Rockdale.
The Rev. Ray Reed of Trinity Methodist Church will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.
Mrs. Hilton died Saturday at her home.
She was born in Taylor, Texas, and was a lifelong resident of Thorndale and the Salty Community. She was a homemaker and was a member of Trinity Methodist Church in Thorndale.
Survivors include her husband, Linwood Hilton of Thorndale; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Robby R. Hilton, James L. and Lucille Hilton and Franky H. and Bonnie Hilton, all of Thorndale; a brother, Frank Newman Jr. of Thorndale; three sisters, Nora Pasemann, Frances Hilton and Margie Olbrich, all of Thorndale; five grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Lone Star Hospice in Round Rock, Texas.
Diane Jean Sarver
July 8, 1944 — March 31, 2000
Services for Diane Jean Sarver, 55, of Bryan are set for 1 p.m. Monday at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in College Station.
The Rev. Bruce Wood of Aldersgate United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Rest-Ever Memorial Park in Bryan.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan and from noon to the time of the services Monday at the church.
Mrs. Sarver died Friday at her home.
She was born in Chicago, Ill., and had lived in Bryan since 1986. She was a member of the Republican Party, the Republican Women’s Club, National Right to Life and the National Rifle Association. She was also a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and the Family Enrichment Life Group, which met Sunday’s at the church.
Survivors include her husband, John W. Sarver of Bryan; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Joseph W. Sarver and Paul T. Sarver, both of Bryan, and John M. and Jennifer Sarver of Huntsville, Texas; four daughters and a son-in-law, Theresa Ann and Charles Francisco of Houston, Sarah Lynn Sarver and Jennifer Jean Sarver, both of Bryan, and Rachel Mary Sarver of Fort Worth; and four grandchildren.

Karen Reneé Wiese

HEARNE — Services for Karen Reneé Wiese, 15, of Calvert are set for 4 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Hearne.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Heartfield Funeral Home in Hearne.
Karen died Friday in Bryan.
She was born in Temple, Texas, and had lived in Calvert all of her life. She was a student at Allen Academy in Bryan.
Survivors include her parents, Gilsie and Allen Wiese of Calvert; a sister, Kristin Wiese of Austin; a brother and sister-in-law, David and Wendi Wight Wiese of Scottsdale, Ariz.; grandparents, Cooper and Frances Wiese of Calvert; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mrs. Wilson died Friday in a Bryan hospital.
She was born in Pine Bluff, Ark., and had lived in Leona since 1999. She formerly lived in New Caney, Texas, for 18 years. She was a homemaker and was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Laurence Oden Wilson of Leona; her father, Jewel Homer Puckett; a son, Laurence Corley “Corkey” Wilson of Porter; a daughter, Laura Lyn Wilson of Leona; two brothers, Homer Eugene Puckett of Rosebud and Jewel Lee Puckett; three sisters, Martha Rae Orsak and Elizabeth Annette Matus, both of Sealy, Texas, and Clara Faye Oster of California; a half-brother, A.J. Puckett; a half-sister, Tammy M. Banks of Louisiana; and three grandchildren.

She was born in Leonard and had lived in Rockdale for seven years. She was a homemaker and was a member of Grove Hill Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Samuel Franklin and Barrie Lou Hale of Denison, Texas, and John and Ola Kay Hale of Bryan; four sisters, Margaret Travis of Longview, Texas, Anna Maude Randel of Rowlett, Texas, Martha Pearl Biggerstaff of Whitewright, Texas, and Maxine Sanderson of Dallas; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Hazel Roberta Moss

HEARNE — Services for Hazel Roberta Moss, 86, of Wheelock are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Heartfield Funeral Home Chapel in Hearne.

Mrs. Moss died Saturday in a Franklin nursing home.
She was born in Key West, Fla., and had lived in Wheelock since 1935. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Wheelock Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy G. Moss Sr.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Roy G. Jr. and Ivy Moss of Huntsville; a daughter, Jo Ann Moss Richardson of Fort Worth; a sister, Virginia Brady of Winter Haven, Fla.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Roger D. Berry

SOMERVILLE — Services for Roger D. Berry, 62, of Apache Hills near Lyons are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Strickland Funeral Home in Somerville.
The Rev. John Alaniz will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to the time of the services Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Berry died Saturday at his home.
He was born in Courtland County, N.Y., and lived in Burleson County since 1981. He worked as a superintendent in the petroleum construction business until his retirement.
He was a member of the Yegua Booster Club.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Berry, his father, Wilson Berry, his stepmother, Ethel Berry; a sister, Eleanor Dippilitto; and numerous other relatives.
Robert Davis Browning
June 6, 1913 — April 3, 2000
Private memorial services for Robert Davis Browning, 86, of Bryan will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
Mr. Browning died Monday at his home.
He was born in Waco and lived in Bryan since 1988. He worked in the Nehi Bottling Plant, owned and operated service stations in Coleman, Texas, and retired from the Insurance Company of the Southwest as purchasing manager in 1988. He coached Little League and Pony League baseball teams for many years in Coleman and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a cryptographer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Rose Davis Browning.
Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Jo and E.W. “Sonny” Hennig of Glen Cove, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Elizabeth “Betty” and Preston Smith of Bryan; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard D. and Diana Browning of Odessa, Texas; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a cousin and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to Family Outreach in Bryan.
Erica Richards McMillan

FRANKLIN — Services for Erica Richards McMillan, 65, of Franklin are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at Blair-Stubbs-McCauley Funeral Chapel in Franklin.

Ms. McMillan died Monday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan.
She was born in Ratibor, Germany, and had lived in Franklin for 20 years. She previously lived in Houston. She was an accountant and was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Franklin.
Survivors include a sister, Maria Penzilek of Wiesbaden, Germany; numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Jimmie Arthur Moffett

MADISONVILLE — Services for Jimmie Arthur Moffett, 41, of Midway, Texas, are set for 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Southside Church of Christ in Midway.

Mr. Moffett died Friday.
