Services for Sista Fava, 72, of Bryan are set for 10 a.m.
Tuesday at Santa Teresa Catholic Church in Bryan.
The Rev. Victor Robles of Santa Teresa Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Fava died Friday in Sherwood Health Care.
She was born in El Dorado, Texas, and had lived in Bryan for 45 years. She was a Catholic.
Survivors include five sons and four daughters-in-law, Arnulfo and Becky Fava of College Station, Paul and Bonnie Fava of Cedar Creek, Texas, Fidel Fava of San Antonio, Pete and Sheryl Fava and Julian and Andrea Fava, all of Austin; six daughters and four sons-in-law, Dora and Ralph Pena, Ofelia Lopez, Sylvia F. and Pete Rameriz and Linda and Heapito Rameriz, all of Bryan, Lidia and Juan Zuvieto of McAllen, Texas, and Amelia Fava of College Station; a sister, Dolores Hernandez of San Angelo, Texas; 29 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

William ‘Joe’ Nelson

CALDWELL — Services for the Rev. William “Joe” Nelson, 63, of Jewett are set for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Caldwell.
The Revs. LeRoy Patterson and James Hooper will officiate. Burial will be in Chriesman Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell.
Rev. Nelson died Saturday in San Antonio.
He was born in Caldwell and was retired from Merchant’s Motor Freight in Houston after 35 years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Mexia and served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Nell Nelson of Jewett; a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald Joe and Teresa Nelson of Conroe, Texas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Chandra Kay and Bruce Peele of San Antonio and Melissa Renee and Gene Ward of Trinity, Texas; three brothers, Wilford E. Nelson of Lancaster, Texas, the Rev. John E. Valenta of Trinity, Texas, and the Rev. Donald R. Valenta of Abilene; six sisters, Fannie May Moore and Valma Fay Valenta, both of Caldwell, Patsy Jean Nichols of Elkhart, Texas, Kate Lou Albright of Gause, Edna Ruth Bridges of Cummings, Ga., and Judy Ann Seamons of Trinity; and seven grandchildren.
Valerie Alford Willard
March 10, 1923 — March 25, 2000
ROCKDALE — Services for Valerie Alford Willard, 77, of Gause are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.
Burial will be in the Gause Cemetery in Gause.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Willard died Saturday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan.
She was born in Burleson County and had lived in Gause for 53 years. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Gause Full Gospel Church. She worked as a nurse’s aide and nurse for a number of nursing homes and hospitals.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Willard.
Survivors include three sons, Thomas E. Alford of Livingston, Texas, David Alford and Michael Allen Alford, both of Gause; three daughters, Jan Willard and Judy Nicar, both of Gause, and Sharon Barnett of Waxahachie, Texas; a brother, Hurston Newcomb of Batesville, Miss.; two sisters, Viola Groce of Caldwell and Velma Lewis of Decatur, Texas; 52 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Milady Sefcik
July 8, 1919 — March 27, 2000
BRENHAM —Services for Milady Sefcik, 80, of Brenham are set for 10 a.m. Thursday in Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham.
The Rev. Michael Groseclose will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Knoll Cemetery in Bellville.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Sefcik died Monday in Bluebonnet Hills Nursing Center in Brenham.
She was born in Nelsonville, Texas, was a homemaker and a member of Nelsonville Brethren Church.
She is survived by her son, Johnnie W. Sefcik of Brenham; two grandchildren; and a sister and brother-in-law, Beatrice and Edmund Andreas of New Ulm.

MARLIN —Services for Mary Beatrice White, 94, of Hearne are set for 11 a.m. Thursday at the New Elam Baptist Church.
The Rev. O.W. Mack will officiate. Burial will be in the River Side Cemetery in Hearne.

Eula Lee Baker Solomon
June 8, 1927 — March 27, 2000
CAMERON —Services for Eula Lee Baker Solomon, 72, of Cameron are set for 2 p.m. Thursday in the Kathryn W. Green Chapel of Green-Patterson Funeral Home.
The Revs. Richard Harpole and Brad Bimwaugh will officiate. Burial will be in North Elm Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Green Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron.
Mrs. Solomon died Monday in a Temple Hospital.
She was born in the Marlow Community near Cameron, was retired from the Milam County Tax Office where she worked for many years as the chief deputy, and was a member of the Crockett St. Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Delmer “Dee” Solomon of Cameron; a stepson, Derek Ragene Solomon of Rosharon; a stepdaughter, Evelyn Quen Osborn of Lubbock; 5 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Herbert F. Ulrich

BURTON —Services for Herbert F. Ulrich, 96, of Carmine are set for 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Martin Luther Lutheran Church of Carmine.

Mr. Ulrich died Tuesday in Monument Hill Nursing Home in La Grange.
He was born in Winedale, Texas, was a member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church of Carmine and the La Bahia Cemetery Association. He was a former member of Carmine Fire Department and Farm Bureau, and was a retired farmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Selma Kiel Ulrich.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Lois and Delton Wunderlich of Shelby and Joyce and Howard Fuchs of Carmine; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Viola Ulrich of Carmine.
Memorials may be given to Martin Luther Lutheran Church of Carmine.
Jim “Big Jim” Wilson

CAMERON —Services for Jim Wilson, 68, of Hearne are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Independent Baptist, 101 N. El Paso in Hearne.
The Rev. Walter Ward will officiate. Burial will be in Greater Riverside Cemetery in Hearne.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at Jackson Mortuary Chapel in Cameron.
Mr. Wilson died Sunday in St. Joseph Regional Health Care Center.
He was born in Edge, Texas, and was retired from Texas A&M University System after 23 years.
Survivors include two brothers, Clarence Wilson of Los Angeles and Elmer Wilson of Tahoka, Texas; three sisters, Lena Williams of Hearne and Dora Moore and Alice Hatchet, both of Tahoka; a God daughter, Frances Carr of Hearne; 20 nieces; and 23 nephews.
William H. ‘Bill’ McLeod Jr.
Jan. 15, 1930 — March 28, 2000
Services for William H. “Bill” McLeod Jr., 70, of Bryan are set for 10 a.m. Friday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.
The Rev. Tim Smith of United Freewill Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Rest-Ever Memorial Park in Bryan.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to service time Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. McLeod died Tuesday at his home.
He was born in Camden, Ark., was the owner and operator of Texas Voting System, Inc. and Bryan Aviation, Inc. in Bryan. He was a member of the Quiet Birdman, Confederate Air Force and American Legion Earl Graham Post 159 in Bryan. He also served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth A. Hobbs McLeod of Bryan; six sons and a daughter-in-law, William “Bill” and Merideth McLeod of Little Rock, Ark., Brad A. McLeod, Bob Sims, Hillie D. Sims, Bill Sims, and Martin Sims, all of Bryan; three daughters, Debbie McLeod of Savannah, Ga., Carla Barrow of Omaha, Neb., and Cynthia Clark of Bryan; a niece; two nephews; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
