Services for Lorenzo R. Mendez, 65, of College Station are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Santa Teresa Catholic Church in Bryan.
The Rev. Mike Sis will officiate. Burial will be in Bryan City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Mendez died Sunday in Brazos Valley Geriatric Center.
He was born in Lockhart, Texas, and had lived in College Station since 1957. He was a member of Santa Teresa Catholic Church and was a former member of the League of United Latin American Citizens Council 222.
Survivors include his wife, Micolasa Mendez of Bryan; four sons and daughters-in-law, Lorenzo and Mary Mendez Jr. of San Diego, Calif., Richard and Sandie Mendez and Larry and Sarah Mendez, all of College Station, and Jesse and Sara Mendez of Bryan; three daughters and sons-in-law, Rosa Linda and Reynaldo Villalpando, Rose Mary and Antonio Rivera and Monica Lea and Larry Burns, all of Bryan; six brothers, Raymond Mendez, Bisente Mendez, Benito Mendez, David Mendez, Lupe Mendez and Feliz Mendez, all of Bryan; four sisters, Mary Ramirez, Angie Sarate, Remidos Mendez, all of Bryan, and Gloria Mendez of Houston; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Dorothy Ann ‘Deedy’ Perry

Services for Dorothy Ann “Deedy” Perry, 69, of College Station are set for 1 p.m. Wednesday at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Bryan.
The Rev. Bob Richers, associate pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Bryan, will officiate. Burial will be in Blytheville, Ark.
Mrs. Perry died Thursday in St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
She was born in Luxor, Ark., and had lived in College Station since 1976. She was retired as a manager for women’s clothing retail sales.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Brian and Faith Perry of Larksburg, Colo., Scott and Janis Perry of Sulphur, Okla., and Logan Perry of College Station; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and Tony Dyson of College Station and Dianne and Colin Ward of Fort Campbell, Ky.; a brother-in-law, Dr. Perry Adkisson of College Station; seven grandchildren; and a niece.

Olivia Emilie ‘Fe Fe’ Loewe Schoenemann

BURTON — Services for Olivia Emilie “Fe Fe” Loewe Schoenemann, 93, of the Sandtown community are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at the Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Carmine.
The Rev. Paul Bohot will officiate. Burial will be in the Loewe Family Cemetery in the Sandtown community.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Foehner Funeral Home in Burton.
Mrs. Schoenemann died Thursday.
She was a lifelong resident of the Sandtown community near Carmine. She was a homemaker and was a lifelong member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Carmine.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Schoenemann Sr.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Herman Jr. and Ruth Schoenemann of Sandtown; two sisters-in-law, Bernice Schoenemann of Pasadena, Texas, and Gertrude Spiess of Industry, Texas; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Carmine.

ROCKDALE — Services for Martin Garcia Jr., 44, of Athens, Texas, are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rockdale.
The Rev. Robert Herald will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home of Rockdale.
Mr. Garcia died Sunday in the Scott & White Hospital in Temple.
He was born in Burnet, Texas, was a medication aide with Home Health Specialist, was a volunteer interpreter for Texas Department of Human Resources and was a volunteer for South Athens Elementary H.O.S.T.S.. program.
Survivors include his wife, Joni Garcia of Athens, Texas; his step-father, Joe.C. Galvan of Rockdale; and four sisters and a brother-in-law, Delores Rubio, Gloria Gonzales, and Irene and Manuel Rivera, all of Rockdale and Jocie Lane of Athens.

She was born in Burleson County, was a grocery store clerk at Vavra Grocery in Dime Box and a member of Dime Box Brethren Church.
Survivors include her husband, Willie Urbanovsky of Dime Box; a daughter, Joyce Weaver of Dime Box; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Florice Vavra and Joseph J. and Lela Pearly Vavra, all of Dime Box; a brother-in-law, Joe Ehrlich of San Antonio; and two grandsons.

She was born in Sherril, Ark., and was a nurse at St. Joseph Regional Health Care Center in Bryan. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Mullinnix.

Mr. Kirl died Sunday in Robertson County.
He was born in Galveston, was a retired heavy equipment operator and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Survivors include two sons, Charles L. Kirl and Charles R. Kirl, both of Swannonoa, N.C.; a daughter, Mandy Kirl of Caldwell; two sisters, Ruby Matjeka of Caldwell and Faye Bullett of Maryville, La.; and eight grandchildren.
Roy B. Smith

MARLIN, Texas — Graveside services for Roy B. Smith, 89, of Marlin are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at. Calvary Cemetery in Marlin.
The Rev. Jimmy Phillips will officiate.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Adams Funeral Home in Marlin.
Mr. Smith died Tuesday at St. Joseph Regional Health Care Center.
He was born in Marlin, was retired from the Sherwin-Williams Company where he was store manager for 21 years, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a charter member of the First Christian Church of Marlin, where he also served as an Elder.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene Smith.
He is survived by a son, Roy Langford “Lang” Smith of Bryan; a grandson; and two nieces.

Helen Marie Dorgan

Services for Helen Marie Dorgan, 87, of Bryan are set for 4 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan.
The Rev. John McCaffrey will officiate. Entombment will be in Msgr.-Gleissner Mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
A rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Dorgan died Monday at the College Station Medical Center.
She was born in Lincoln, Ill., was a school teacher and book keeper, was a member of Mt. Carmel Alter Guild at St. Joseph Church, the Ladies Auxiliary 4th Degree Knight of Columbus Bishop Griffin Assembly, Springfield, Ill., and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Lawrence Reichart of Bryan; a sister, Ann Fry of Lincoln, Ill.; and a granddaughter.
Beatrice Bullard Stinnett
July 14, 1912 — March 20, 2000
BRENHAM —Services for Dr. Beatrice Bullard Stinnett, 87, of Brenham are set for 5 p.m. Thursday at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.
The Rev. Cecilia Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham.
Dr. Stinnett died Monday.
She was born in Roseboro, N.C. and attended Pineland College before entering Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine. She practiced medicine with her husband in Brenham until her retirement. She helped reestablish Girl Scouts in Brenham in 1947 and received Girl Scouting’s highest service award. She served as chairwoman and president of many groups, including Brenham Fortnightly Club, Daughters of the American Revolution, United Way and United Daughters of the Confederacy. She was a charter member of the Pilot Club and of the Goodfellows. She was elected Woman of the Year by the Brenham Chamber of Commerce and elected to the Maifest Hall of Fame. She was a longtime member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church and the first woman elected to the church Vestry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. A.E. Stinnett.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Laura Cherry and Gerald Purcell, Ann and Jim Farrell, and Jeanne and Bill Stillwell; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Kathleen Warren; and two brothers, Eugene Bullard and DuBose Bullard.
