Calvin W. Williamson
Decatur – Calvin Weaver Williamson Jr., 68, of Decatur died Monday, Oct. 1, 2001, in Decatur.
He was born Sept. 9, 1933, in Laredo. On July 23, 1953 he married Cleva Lou Griffin in McAllen. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1977.
Mr. Williamson was the owner and operator of an auto repair business. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #779, Toastmasters International and the Off-380 Players.
He was a member of the Central Fellowship Church of Christ in Decatur.
A service will be at 2 p.m. today, Wednesday, Oct. 3, in the chapel of Coker Funeral Home in Decatur. John Featherston will officiate, assisted by Marcus Brecheen. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur.
Pallbearers will be Celvin, Carl and Calvin Williamson III, Robby and Bob Brooks, Charles Whitaker and Curt Williamson.
Survivors include his wife of Decatur; four sons, Calvin Williamson II, Carl Williams and Curt Williamson, all of Decatur, and Cevin Williamson of Dallas; one daughter, Cassandra Williamson Byrd of Decatur; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Robert R. Crosby
Robert Richard Crosby died Sept. 23, 2001, in Eugene, Ore. He was born in Garza, Texas, to Tom and Inez Crosby, and was raised in the Little Elm/Lake Dallas area.
He was a paratrooper in World War II. He is survived by his wife Dorothy of Meadview, Ariz. daughter Lynn of Creswell, Ore., one grandson, and two great-grandchildren. May he rest in peace.
Haiden M. Ingram
Mesquite – Haiden Michael Ingram, infant son of Dennis Patrick Ingram Jr. and Amanda Lin Haliburton Ingram, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2001, at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. He was born Sept. 1, 2001, in Dallas.
A graveside service was held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas. The Rev. Gilbert Pansza officiated. Mulkey-Mason Fun-eral Home of Lewisville is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Autistic Treatment Center Endowment Fund of Dallas.
Survivors include his parents of Mesquite; one sister, Kess Nichole Ingram of Mesquite; one twin brother, Byron Allen Ingram of Mesquite; his grandparents, Gene and Deana Haliburton and Dennis and Wanda Ingram of Highland Village; and great-grandparents Phyllis Haliburton, Ruth Smith and C. Robert Ingram.
Billy Don Laird
Pilot Point – Billy Don Laird, 41, of Pilot Point died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2001, in Denton.
He was born May 25, 1961, in Denton.
Mr. Laird worked as a nurse’s aid at nursing homes for several years.
He was a Baptist.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, in the chapel of Huff/Slay Funeral Home in Pilot Point.
Survivors include his mother, Brenda Ledford of Sadler; his father, Jerry Don Laird of California; four brothers, Jerry Dewayne Laird of Lubbock, Michael Laird of Corinth, Harvey Laird of Whitesboro and Daniel Laird of Sadler; and two sisters, Teresa Orona of Gainesville and Tonya Lira of New Braunfels.
Glenn A. Page
Fort Worth – Glenn Arden Page, 81, of Fort Worth died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2001, at Denton Community Hospital.
He was born Sept. 6, 1920, in Goodlett to Lee Belton and Winnie Pawnee (Chewning) Page. On Oct. 19, 1962, he married Catherine Henderson in Fort Worth. During World War II he served in the U.S. Coast Guard.
Mr. Page was a retired salesman. He was a member of Arlington Heights Masonic Lodge #1184 in Fort Worth.
He was a member of the Sandy Lane Christian Church of Fort Worth.
A service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5, in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home in Denton. Dr. Larry Reynolds will officiate. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. Friday at Rose Hill Cemetery in Fort Worth with graveside rites by Arlington Heights Masonic Lodge #1184.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today, Thursday, Oct. 4, for visitation.
Pallbearers will be Tony Walter, Matt Walter, Tim Walter, Jim Gribble, Steve Holland and Claude Holliman.
Survivors include his wife of Fort Worth; two daughters, Merie Page Walter of Willow Park and Carolyn Lemmond of Sanger; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Two daughters, Cherie Gribble and Berie Page, are deceased.
Maria V. Duryea
Maria V. Duryea, age 36, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2001, in Corpus Christi, Texas, after a brave battle with brain cancer. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, and services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Seaside Funeral Home in Corpus Christi.
Maria was a neo-natal respiratory therapist at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston and Cook’s Child-ren’s Hospital in Fort Worth. She was a Halo Flight Team member at Driscoll Child-ren’s hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Todd Duryea, daughter Jessica Duryea, step-sons, Tim and Daniel Duryea, mother Minerva Villarreal of Corpus Christi, sisters Celeste Lutz, Iliana Ortiz and Nice LaCroix, brother Sergio Villarreal, mother-in-law and father-in-law LaVona and Jim Duryea, and brother-in-law Tim Duryea.

Hallie Mae Witt
Hallie Mae Witt, 91, of Denton died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2001, at Denton Good Samaritan Village.
She was born Oct. 3, 1910, in Crowell, to A.L. and Lee (Thompson) Johnson. She was a graduate of Crowell High School and Texas Wesleyan University. In 1934 she married Ben F. Witt in Chillicothe. He died June 11, 1984.
Mrs. Witt was a retired teacher from the Denton Independent School District.
She was a member of First Baptist Church.
A service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, in the Cindy Nichols Chapel of the First Baptist Church. Dr. Jeff Williams will officiate.
Burial will follow in Little Elm Cemetery in Little Elm.
Pallbearers will be Chris Martin, Bryan Martin, Mike Hebebrand, Tommy Johnson, Jim Langlais and David Witt.
The family will be at Mulkey-Mason Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m. tonight, Friday, Oct. 5, for visitation.

Survivors include two daughters, Suzanne Adrian of Cali Mesa, Calif., and Linda Martin of North Richland Hills; one son, Dan F. Witt of Dallas; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Frances L. Neale
Leonard – Frances Lou Neale was born Feb. 3, 1909, in Leonard, Texas; she passed away Oct. 4, 2001, at the Vintage Health Care in Denton.
Frances graduated from Leonard High School, the College of Industrial Arts (now Texas Woman’s Uni-versity) in Denton, and did graduate work at the University of California. Her professional life was devoted to social work. She retired in 1974 as a psychiatric social director with the state of California. She returned to Texas in 1992 where she continued to be a devoted and loving family member. She was an amazing woman.
Frances is survived by her sister, Helen Buchanan of Monahans, Texas; nephew, B.R. Neale of Dallas; nieces, Sara McBee of Denton, Patricia Hooper of Krum; and numerous great-nep-hews and nieces.
Graveside service and interment will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5, 2001, at the Leonard Cemetery, in Leonard, Texas. The Rev. Kurt Neale will officiate.

‘Skip’ Price
Anna Carolyn "Skip" McShan Price, of Denton passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2001, at Denton Regional Medical Center after a brave battle with esophageal cancer complicated by pneumonia.
She was born on August 14, 1931, in San Angelo, Texas. She attended Texas Christian University, where she studied art. On May 23, 1953, she married William Thomas Price, a petroleum engineer. Soon after they were married, they moved to Venezuela where they raised their family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Judge Cook McShan and Alma Bertha Christianus McShan and many beloved pets.
Survivors include her daughters; Katy Price and Mella Skiles; son, Walter Price; grandchildren, Maggie Burns, Adria France, Patrick France and Alyson France; her sons-in-law James H. Skiles and Thomas Martin.
A memorial service, handled by Schmitz-Floyd-Andersen Funeral Home of Denton, will be scheduled at a later date pending notification of all loved ones wishing to attend.
In lieu of flowers, the family, in respect of her wishes, asks that contributions be made to the Denton Humane Society (P.O. Box 1972, Denton, Texas 76202).
Roy Greener Jr.
Lewisville – Roy Harold Greener Jr., 40, of Lewisville died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2001, at Medical Center of Lewisville.
He was born Dec. 27, 1960, in Grayson County to Roy Harold Greener Sr. and Lillie Alice McMurray Greener.
Mr. Greener was formerly a butcher at Old Town Meat Market and was most recently employed as a machinist.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. The Rev. Kenneth Wells will officiate. Interment will be in the Flower Mound Cemetery, Flower Mound.

Jack Henney
Houston – Jack Edward Henney passed away Oct. 3, 2001, in Houston at the age of 64 years.
He was born in Greeley, Colo., on May 1, 1937, to John and Elsie Henney. Jack graduated from College High School in Greeley, and after serving two years in the U.S. Army, graduated from the Colorado State College of Education (now known as the University of Northern Colorado) in Greeley.
He married Mary Roemersberger and was a loving husband for 26 years.
Mr. Henney taught school in Los Alamos, New Mexico, and was associated with the pharmaceutical industry. He also owned a construction company and at the time of his passing was employed by Lehne and Forbes Construction Co. of Houston, Texas.
He was a dedicated and passionate runner, competing in the Boston Marathon twice and 23 other marathons; he also ran other well-known national and local races, for which he received numerous honors in his age group.
His PR’s were 3:18:27 (marathon), 40.43 (10K) and 19.11 (5K). He kept meticulous logs of his training and races since 1955, and he ran a total of 12,444.3 miles. He was a member of several running clubs including the Terlingua Running Club and the Bayou City Road Runners.
Jack is survived by his daughter Laurie and John Bianchi of Gainesville, Fla.; sons Patrick and Lisa Henney of Houston, Texas, Jon and Kim Henney of Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren, Laura and Emily Henney, Leah and Sean Bianchi; three sisters, Shirley and Morris Dickhart of Aurora, Colo., Janet and Gene Schanwolf of Thornton, Colo., Charlotte and Joe Boshinski of Greeley, Colo.; and brother-in-law, Ted Swanson; as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Mr. Henney was preceded in death by his sister Ruth Swanson in April of 2001.
Family and friends will gather for visitation on Friday, Oct. 5, 2001, from 5 until 9 p.m., and a prayer vigil will be held at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2001, at 10 o’clock in the morning at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 6622 Haskell Street, Houston, Texas 77007.
In lieu of floral remembrances, contributions in Mr. Henney’s memory may be made to the Henney Running Scholarship at the University of Northern Colorado, Campus Box 20, Greeley, Colo. 80639.
Mary E. Russell
Newark – Mary Elizabeth Evans Russell, 52, of Newark died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2001, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 14, 1949, in Newark, On Jan. 9, 1965, she married Billy Don Russell in Newark.
Mrs. Russell was a lunchroom monitor at Seven Hills Elementary School.
She was a member of Newark Church of Christ.
A service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8, at Newark Church of Christ. Bobby Boalin will officiate. Burial will be in Aurora Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Henry Elliott, Robert Harris, Chris Eavens, Rick Bowers, Roger Kennedy and Richard Roberts.
Survivors include her husband of Newark; three sons, Billy D. Russell Jr. of Arlington, Bryan T. Russell of Fort Worth and Andy Lipsey of Fort Worth; one daughter, Carol Creamer of Fort Worth; two brothers, Robert Evans of Hamilton and Gordan Evans of Rhome; two sisters, Virginia Bowers of Newark and Ella Roye of White Settlement; and five grandchildren.
