Mary Lou Livengood
Rhome - Mary Lou Livengood, 74, of Rhome died Saturday, Oct. 23, 1999, at her home.
She was born Sept. 13, 1925, in Decatur to Carl W. and Ruth Bennett Slay. She was raised on a farm in Wise County and graduated from Rhome High School in 1942. She graduated from Texas Christian University in 1945. She married John T. Livengood Jr. Aug. 28, 1954.
She worked for Evans and Associates advertising agency in Fort Worth for 10 years. She also did freelance work with her own part-time business.
She was active in PTA, Camp Fire, the TCU Quinq Club, and the Wise County Spirit of Christmas drive. She was a charter member of the Rhome Women's Club and served as its first president. She was a member of the first board of directors for the Rhome Library and was a lifetime member of the Avondale Community Club. She helped put together bike-a-thons for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and volunteered at Christ's Haven for Children. For more than 50 years, she was a Sunday school teacher at the Rhome Church of Christ, where she also taught Vacation Bible School and Ladies' Bible Class.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, at Rhome Church of Christ. Burial will be in Aurora Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25, at Coker Funeral Home in Decatur.
Memorials may be made to Christ's Haven for Children in Keller and to the Molly Livengood Carter Memorial Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 4, Rhome, Texas 76078.
Survivors include her husband of Rhome; a daughter, Ann Watkins of Rhome; and two granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her younger brother, Carl W. Slay Jr. and her youngest daughter, Molly Livengood Carter.
Kathleen C. Kaiser
Kathleen Carey Kaiser, 74, of Denton died Sunday, Oct. 24, 1999, at Denton Community Hospital.
She was born in Dallas to Maurice J. and LaLoie Murray Williams.
She married Vic Kaiser in Houston in January 1966. He died in January 1999.
Mrs. Kaiser was an office secretary for Williams & Company.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, at Klein Cemetery in Tomball.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 tonight at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton.
Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Stanford of Argyle and Sharon Gillespie of Port Aransas; son, Steve Tyrrell of Houston; two brothers, Kenneth Williams of Pottsboro and Maurice Williams of Austin; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Lake Dallas - Beulah Sanford, 55, of Lake Dallas died Sunday, Oct. 24, 1999, at Arlington Memorial Hospital.

Nettie Lee Good
Ben Wheeler - Nettie Lee Good, 81, of Ben Wheeler, formerly of Denton County, died Friday, Oct. 22, 1999, at her home.
She was born Feb. 7, 1918, in Hamilton to Robert and Mary French. She was the widow of Vernon W. Good. Mr. Good died in 1980.
Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, in Dalton & Son Funeral Chapel in Lewisville with Bobby Bryan and the Rev. Bill Arden officiating. Burial will follow at Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Lee Good and James William Good; sister, Eva Mae Sherrill; seven grandchildren; and eight-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Livengood was born Sept. 13, 1925, in Decatur to Carl W. and Ruth Bennet Slay. She graduated from Rhome High School in 1842, and Texas Christian University in 1945, with a degree in journalism. She was the editor of the school paper "The Skiff" and was elected Ranch Week Queen.
She worked for Evans and Associated advertising agency, becoming the first woman production manager for an advertising agency in Fort Worth.
On Aug. 28, 1954, she married John T. Livengood, Jr.

Walter J. Smith
Lake Dallas - Walter J. Smith, 79, of Lake Dallas died Saturday, Oct. 23, 1999, at his home of cancer.
Service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, in Dalton & Son Funeral Chapel in Lewisville with the Rev. John Dickey officiating.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight, Monday, Oct. 25, at the funeral home.
Mr. Smith was born Sept. 7, 1920, in Mason City, Iowa, to Wallace and Una Smith. He married Harriet Anderson Sept. 8, 1941, in Omaha, Neb. They celebrated 58 years together.
Mr. Smith was a bomber pilot overseas during World War II., and received decorations for his service. He was a member of American Legion Post 88 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10460, both in Lake Dallas.
He retired from Champion International Corporation as print shop superintendent in 1985, after 40 years of service.
Survivors include his wife of Lake Dallas; sons, Walter Jay Smith of Denver, Colo., and Mark Steven Smith of Abilene; daughter, Linda Marie Archibald of Dallas; brothers, Wallace Smith of Modale, Iowa, and Cecil
Smith of Omaha, Neb.; and seven grandchildren.
His parents, four brothers; sister, and son, Dennis William Smith are deceased.
Edna Lewis Carlton
Edna Lewis Carlton, 76, of Denton died Monday, Oct. 25, 1999, at The Vintage Health Care Center.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey with the Rev. John Stout officiating.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 tonight, Tuesday, Aug. 26, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Carlton was born Aug. 29, 1923, in Aubrey to John David Garrison and Mamie (Stowe) Garrison. She attended Aubrey High School.
She married Joe Bailey Carlton Oct. 26, 1946, in Denton.
Mrs. Carlton was a member of the Church of Christ, and a nurse's aide at Flow Hospital before her retirement.
Survivors include her husband of Denton; son, Terry Joe Carlton of Krum; sisters, Peggy Parrish of Fort Worth and Ethel Bryant of Everman; brother, Billy Cribbs; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mary E. Y. Guinn
Decatur - Mary Evelyn Young Guinn, 70, of Decatur died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 1999, at Decatur Community Hospital.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, at Sandhill Cemetery with Rusty Hedges officiating.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 tonight, Wednesday, Oct. 27, at Coker Funeral Home in Decatur.

Mrs. Guinn was born Aug. 24, 1929, in Merkel.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church. On June 10, 1949, she married Jim Tom Young and later after his death, she married Dozier Guinn Feb. 14, 1979. He is also deceased.
Survivors include one son, Roy Young of Decatur; three daughters, Barbara Ashcraft of Denton, Debra Walker of Decatur and Linda Young of Fort Worth; brother, Truman Bearden of Shreveport, La.; and four
grandchildren.
Kay Y. L. Lindloff
Arlington - Kay Yvonne Littrell Lindloff, 53, of Arlington died Saturday, Oct. 23, 1999, at her home after a long illness.
Service will be 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, Oct. 27, in Epworth United Methodist Church in Kennedale with burial in Emerald Hills Memorial Park in Kennedale.
Emerald Hills Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Lindloff was born May 7, 1946, in Denton to Monroe Littrell and Geraldine Littrell Mailloux. She married Gary Kent Lindloff Oct. 20, 1972.
She received a bachelor of science degree in 1968, a master of library science degree in 1970 from Texas Woman's University in Denton, and a master of theology degree from Houston Graduate School of
Theology in 1989.
She was a minister for a circuit of churches in LaRue and later a minister at Matagorda United Methodist Church from 1991 to 1994.
Survivors include her husband of Arlington; son, Kent Monroe Lindloff of San Diego, Calif.; daughter, Paula Kay Lindloff of Arlington; stepfather Henry Mailloux; sister, Ann L. Owens of Early; and two nephews.
Jim Max Lumpkins
Decatur - Jim Max Lumpkins, 61, of Decatur died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 1999, at Harris Hospital in Fort Worth.
Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, in Coker Funeral Chapel in Decatur with burial will Oaklawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 tonight, Wednesday, Oct. 27, at the funeral home.
Mr. Lumpkins served in the Army Special Forces and was a machinist for Simtex Co. in Hurst.
Survivors include his mother, Ethel Church of Decatur; three sons, Tony Lumpkins of Haslett, Tim Lumpkins of Azle and Pat Lumpkins of Pilot Point; and five grandchildren.
Beulah A. H. Sanford
Lake Dallas - Beulah Ann (Hebert) Sanford, 55, of Lake Dallas, died Sunday, Oct. 24, 1999, at Arlington Memorial Hospital.
Service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, in Schmitz-Floyd-Andersen Funeral Chapel in Denton with Dr. James W. Singleton officiating. Burial will be in Swisher Cemetery, Lake Dallas.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight, Wednesday, Oct. 27, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Allan Huffman, Tim Huffman, John Black, Tory Dickey, David Parker and Wayne Sanford.
Mrs. Sanford was born Aug. 29, 1944, in New Iberia, La., to Robert Hebert and Evelyn (Badeaux) Hebert. She married Robert Sanford Sept. 4, 1964, in Sugarland. Mr. Sanford is deceased.
She was a packer for Andrews Corporation.
Survivors include two daughters, Vanessa Parker of Lawton, Okla., and Wanda Curry of Lake Dallas; son, Wayne Sanford of Granbury; sister, Hazel League of Denton; four brothers, Walter and Will Hebert of
Houston, Frank Hebert of Sugarland and Joe Hebert of Lott; and four grandchildren.
'Dette' McGuire
Bernadette Anne McGuire, 78, of Denton, died Monday, Oct. 25, 1999, at her home.
Dette was a loving, giving presence in our lives and the parish of Immaculate Conception Church. She grew up in west Texas, the middle child of 12 children to John and Rose Albracht. She lived her life as an Air Force wife and mother, up and down the central United States until Bill retired and brought us to Denton. Dette lived, loved, lost and buried her loved ones over her 30 years at Immaculate Conception. She was loved and will be missed by all of us.
Mrs. McGuire was born April 17, 1921, in Nazareth,Texas, to John S. and Rose (Heusman) Albracht. She graduated high school and attended beauty college. She worked as a beautician until her marriage. She married William M. McGuire on July 30, 1950, in the Roswell Air Force Bace Chapel, Roswell, NM. She was an active member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church since she moved to Denton in 1971.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, at Immaculate Conception Church with Father Mel Bessellieu officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial park.
Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, at Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz & Son Funeral Home with visitation following.
