She was born Feb. 21, 1961 in Lubbock, Texas. She married Terry Jay Long on July 19, 1986 in Ralls, Texas. She was a 1979 graduate of Ralls High School in Ralls, Texas, a member of the Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church in Liberal, Kansas and a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Preceptor Gamma Omicron. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Liberal for the past 13 years moving from Lubbock. Survivors include: her husband Terry Long of Liberal, Kansas, a daughter Hillary Sha Long of Liberal, Kansas her parents George and Thelma Pierot of Ralls, Texas and a sister Sha Pierot of Lubbock, Texas. He died Sunday, January 6, 2002 at his home in Ralls. He was born September 8, 1916 in Brady, Texas. He married Josefa Perales on September 23, 1943 in Floresville, Texas. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. He moved to Ralls in 1951 from Floresville and had worked as a farmer for several different local farmers. He worked as a sexton for the Ralls Cemetery from 1986 until his retirement in 1995. He was preceded in death by a sister Maria Herrera in 1975. He married Eloise Hanes on February 11, 1942 in Littlefield, Texas. She died on April 13, 1999. He attended Ralls Schools and had worked as a warehousing agent. He had attended church at First Presbyterian in Lubbock, Churchill Way Presbyterian Church in Dallas, and a church in Runaway Bay. He was a U. S. Army veteran of WWII. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Carrizozo, New Mexico and the Order of Eastern Star in Ruidoso. She was a homemaker and moved to Shallowater in 1979 from New Mexico. Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home Crosbyton. She died Wed, Jan 16, 2002 at Crosbyton Nursing Home. She was born Nov 18, 1895 in Ryan, Oklahoma (Indian Territory). She married V. R. Haltom on August 6, 1915 in Colorado Springs, CO. He died December 23, 1966. She was a longtime active member of the Crosbyotn First United Methodist Church where she was very faithful until she could no longer attend due to health. She was a member of the Missionary Society and the Wesleyian Guild. She was awarded the Silver Life membership to United Methodist Women for women of 100 years. She belonged to two Forty Two clubs and was a chaarter member of the Needlepoint Club. She was a homemaker and formerly was a clerk at T. George's Dry Good Store and also clerked for Campbell Dry Goods and Wallace Dry Goods. She moved from Oklahoma to Texas as a child and was a graduate of Childress High School. She and her late husband moved to Crosbyton in 1918 where they farmed for many years. She is preceded in death by 2 sons: Ray Haltom in 1972 and Henry Haltom in 1994 also 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Survivors include: 1 daughter Faye Hodges of Crosbyton, 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren, 2 Sisters; Helen Crews of Lubbock and Janet Wright of Childress.

Services for L. C. Roye, Sr, 85, of Las Cruces, N. M. will be at 10:00 AM Monday, January 21, 2002 at Adams Funeral Home in Ralls with Rev. Randy Bartley officiating. Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls. He died January 17, 2002 at Las Cruces, New Mexico. He was born December 15, 1916 in Lampasas. He married Ruby Collins on May 4, 1940 in Ralls. L. C. was first a farmer with his father in Texas. Later he worked as a mechanic for autos and tractors. He then became involved with electrical construction in Texas and New Mexico. Much of the work was high powered for industry and irrigation. He had been a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge, a volunteer fireman, and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was also an avid fan of baseball. He was retired and had been living in Las Cruces for the last 15 years. Survivors include his wife Ruby Roye of Las Cruces, 2 sons and their wives: Louis Roye, Jr. and Wife Camille of Hatch, N. M., and Ronald D. Roye and his wife Wava of Lewisville, Texas, 1 daughter Lynda Loftin of Princeton, Indiana, 1 brother Vernon Roye of Ralls 6 grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. He married Julia Campos on January 17, 1937 in Three Rivers, Texas. She died on October 17, 1996. He was a farmer and member of the St. Michael's Catholic Church. He moved to Ralls in 1963 from Three Rivers. He was preceded in death by a daughter Mary Rendon on Decembeer 30, 1993. He married Wilma Ruth Ward on June 1, 1940 in McAdoo, Texas. He was a member of the McAdoo First United Methodist Church where he served as a Sunday School teacher for the men's class, Sunday School superiintendant and chairman of the official board. He was also a member of the Antique Automobile Club and President of West Texas Pioneer Old Settlers. He served one and one half years overseas in England during WWII and at Kelley Field as an airplane mechanic. He was a life long farmer near the Wake Commuity. The Rio Blanco Soil and Water Conservation District awarded him an outstanding farmer award for farming practices. He was preceded in death by a daughter Rozanna Kinlen and her husband Jim in November 1997 and a brother Rev. J. Waid Griffin. Survivors include his wife; Ruth of Crosbyton, 2 Sons: Howard Griffin and his wife Madeline of Lamesa, Jack Griffin and his wife Annie of Albuquerque, N. M. 1 Daughter; Sue Griffin of Lorenzo, 1 brother Rev. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Ralls. She moved to the South Plains area in 1950 from Marlin, Texas. She was a housekeeper and had worked for several different families in Ralls. She was preceded in death by a son Bertran LaMar. Burial is under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton. He died Feb. 1, 2002 at his residence in Ft. Worth. He was born August 13, 1908 in Santo, Texas. He married Odell Hobbs on September 17, 1935 in Crosbyton. She died on March 17, 1986. He was a member of the Crosbyton First Baptist Church and was a 50 year Mason and member of the Blue Lodge. He was an electrician and while working for the City of Crosbyton power plant he wired most of the streetlights in Crosbyton. He also rewired the Crosbyton hospital and Crosby county Courthouse and the First Baptist Church sanctuary addition at no charge for labor. He was preceded in death by a son Leonard Lee Ellis on March 2, 1995. Survivors include; 3 Daughters; Dr. Shirley Ann Sitz of Ft.Worth, Geneva Groom of Ft. He died Wednesday, February 13, 2002 at his home in Ralls. He was born December 28, 1925 in Tye, Texas. He married Frances Rhodes on August 13, 1949 in Stanton, Texas. She died on October 4, 1990. He then married Doris Norris on July 8, 1991 in Alpine. He attended school at Loraine and Merkel and graduated from Sul Ross State University with a BBA and MA degree. He worked for T & P railroad as a agent from 1942 to 1959. He had also been an accontant for a variety store chain for 20 years and was part owner of the True Value Hardware store in Alpine. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Alpine and the Alpine Lions Club. He had also served on the city council at Stanton. He was a US Marine Corp. Veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict. Survivors include His wife: Doris Graham of Ralls, 3 sons: Clay Graham of Lubbock, Keith Graham of Alpine, Texas, Kelly Graham of Santa Fe N. He was a 1994 graduate of New Deal High School where he played football and was active in Future Farmers of America. He served in the US Navy in Japan. He worked for the last 4 years at the Monterey Station Post Office in Lubbock. He moved to New Deal from Hereford.

She died Monday, April 1, 2002 at Lubbock's Covenant Medical Center. She was born May 31, 1935 in Buffalo Gap, Texas.
She was a member of the Northside Baptist Church in Lubbock and the Ladies Veterans of Foriegn Wars Auxiliary. She moved to Slaton in 1995 from Dawn, Texas.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Victoria Lynn Walker.
Survivors include a brother: John Henry Nall of Lufkin, 2 Sisters: Willie Mae Heath of Slaton and Juanita Byrd of Slaton.
