PROA
Mr. Pedro C. Proa age 82 of San Antonio died on Wednesday, April 12, 2006. Mr. Proa had served in the U.S. Army during WW II, and retired from Civil Service at Kelly Air Force Base with 37 years of service.
He is survived by his children, Patricia Proa-Flores and husband Robert J., Pedro O. Proa, Diana A. Trevino and husband Richard; grandchildren, Christopher P. Flores, Alexander P. Flores, Richard R. Trevino, Adam M. Trevino, Zene Whittaker; great-granddaughter, Elena L. Flores-Gonzales; sisters, Lupe Russell and husband Bill, Angie Padilla, Maggie Gill; brother, Manuel Proo and wife Ana; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank his doctors and staff of the 7th floor at Methodist Hospital.
A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, April 16, at 7:00 P.M. at the Angelus Chapel. Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, April 17, at 9:30 A.M. at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
RAMOS
Mr. Filemon (Phil) Ramos born August 30, 1935 entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 2, 2003. Mr. Ramos served in the military with 10 years of service in the U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps. He is survived by his brother, Nilo Ramos and family; sisters: Pauline Garza and family, Sue Samaniego and family; brother-in-law, Raymond Aguillon whom he lived with for many years, before becoming a resident at Chandler Estates; nieces and nephew, Raymond Aguillon Jr. who helped to take care of him; and many more family members and caregiver of many years Patti Lincon. Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 7:00 P.M. at the Angelus Chapel. Funeral Mass will be offered Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery No.2.
RAMOS
Mrs. Maria G. Ramos age 86 of San Antonio died on Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Mrs. Ramos was preceded in death by her husband, Bernardo S. Ramos and great-grandson, Matthew Bocanegra. She is survived by her children, Bernardo G. Ramos, Jr. and wife Mary Louise, Terry Medina and husband Rudy, Janie Bustos and husband Seferino. 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and special friends, The Quintero Family.
A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, September 5, at 6:00 P.M. at the Angelus Chapel. Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, September 6, at 8:00 A.M. at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

REYNA
Arnulfo G. Reyna also known as “Coy” to his family passed away on August 22, 2010 at the age of 89. He spent his last hours surrounded by his loving family at the home of his daughter Elaine. He was born to Santana and Felicitas Reyna on June 6, 1921 in San Antonio, Texas.
Arnulfo was a loving husband, an amazing father, brother, uncle, son, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was devoted to his family, church and country. He was a long time member of the “Holy Name Society” at St. Henry’s Catholic Church.
A distinguished WWII veteran, he was awarded both the Bronze Star for valor and the Purple Heart for wounds he sustained in action. He was a Hero not only to his country but to his family. He retired after 37 years at Kelly Air Force Base. He was well known to many as “Ernie” during his 10 years at the Four Seasons Hotel. He was an avid gardener, the “Mexican MacGyver”, a fabulous dancer and lover of music.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Consuelo “Chelo” Reyna; his four children, Octavio “Toby” Reyna (Margarita); Dr. Juan “Johnny” Reyna (Joni); Joyce Reyna; and Elaine Farias (Robert “Spanky”). He was blessed with 9 granddaughters, 5 grandsons and 2 great-grandchildren.
A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, August 25, at 6:00 P.M. and a remembrance celebrating his life will begin at 7:00 P.M. at the Angelus Chapel. Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, August 26, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Henry’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No. 3 with military honors.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks for the care provided by Dr. Paul Garcia, the medical staff of the Frank Tejeda Veterans Home, Dr. Justo Cisneros and the Hospice INSPIRIS team.

REYNA
Rachel Renteria Reyna, age 88 of San Marcos, Texas, born October 7, 1921, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2010. She was a schoolteacher who touched the lives of many of the children from Marion, Natalia, Edgewood, San Benito, and Harlandale School Districts. Mrs. Reyna is survived by her husband, Martin Reyna, Sr.; son, Martin R. Reyna; sister, Clementina Carrillo; brothers, Isauro Renteria and Antonio Renteria; 4 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will begin on Friday, August 27, at 5:00 PM with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM at The Angelus Chapel. Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, August 28, at 12:30 P.M. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, San Marcos, Texas. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park, San Marcos, Texas.
RIZZO
Mrs. Concetta Scrivano Rizzo, age 97, died Friday, November 26, 2004, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born November 30, 1906, in San Antonio, Texas to Salvatore and Theresa Scrivano. Mrs. Rizzo was the first president of the Altar and Rosary Society of San Francesco di Paola Catholic Church and was a Charter member of the Christopher Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Rizzo, her children Joe A. Rizzo, Yolanda Rizzo San Marco, and her brothers, Blas and Tommy Scrivano. She is survived by her grandchildren Beverly Pantuso, and husband Nick J. Pantuso, Shirley Schultz, and husband Gordon Schultz, Joe San Marco, and wife Suzanne, Larry Rizzo, Donna Garcia and husband Albert, Tahmar Rasmussen and husband, Jim, 10 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grand children, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, November 28, 2004, 7:00 P.M. at San Francesco di Paola Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, November 29, 2004, 10:00 A.M. at San Francesco di Paola Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery No.2.

RODRIGUEZ
Mrs. Esther G. Rodriguez age 60 of San Antonio entered eternal rest on Monday, April 11, 2006. Mrs. Rodriguez was preceded in death by her parents, Damascio and Martina Hinojosa and brother, Damascio Hinojosa. She is survived by her husband, Inez Rodriguez; her son, Joseph Rodriguez and wife, Velina and grandchildren, Joshua, Victoria, Gabriella, and Anna Rodriguez; her son, Robert Rodriguez; and her daughter, Rosa Linda Longoria and husband, Steven; and grandchildren, Steven and Ashley Longoria.
Mrs. Rodriguez retired from Kelly AFB and was very active in her parish, San Fernando Cathedral. The family would like to thank Alamo Dialysis Center, Baptist Hospital Dialysis staff, San Pedro Manor, and Christus VNA Hospice Care for care given to Mrs. Rodriguez.
Visitation will begin on Monday evening, April 17, at 5:30 PM with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM at the Angelus Chapel. Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, April 18, at 10:00 AM at San Fernando Cathedral. Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park South.
SAENZ
In loving memory of our "Aunt Mary" who has been an inspiration to her family because of her faith in God. Mary D. Saenz age 88 of San Antonio died Tuesday, September 30, 2003. Her prayers, love, devotion and dedication have been an example to her family. She will remain in our hearts forever. She is survived by her adopted daughter, Angie Naranjo and husband John; grandchildren: Alice Martinez and Johnny Naranjo Jr.; great-grandchildren: Brett Martinez, Victoria Charlotte Naranjo, Lauren Angelina Martinez; nieces and nephews: Elvira Martinez, Augustine Saenz Jr., Jose Alberto Saenz, Eddie Saenz, and other numerous nieces and nephews. SALINAS
Mr. Guadalupe S. Salinas, Sr. age 79 of San Antonio died Saturday, May 29, 2004. Mr. Salinas was a supervisor of the Transportation Motor Pool at Fort Sam Houston for 40 years and was a member of the Holy Name Society at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Richard Roland Salinas, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Justa Irene Salinas; sons: Guadalupe (Sonny) Salinas, Jr. and Richard Roland Salinassisters: Mary Alvarez of California and Elvira Moreno; brothers: Albert Salinas and Jose G. Salinas; grandchildren: Bryan Stewart Salinas, Brandon Scott Salinas, Alison Marie Salinas, and Stephen Alexander Salinas; numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Raul C. Sanchez age 56 of San Antonio died Saturday, July 26, 2003. Mr. Sanchez was preceded in death by a daughter, Natasha; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jose H. Sanchez; sisters: Josie S. Gonzales and Carolina S. Mendez; brothers: Santiago, Luis, Jesus, Rogelio, and Julio Sanchez. He is survived y his wife, Enedina G. Sanchez; children: Raul Sanchez Jr., Mary Alice, Vivian S. Ayala, and Raymond Sanchez; sisters: Alicia S. Velez and Angelita C. Sanchez; brothers: Jose and Arturo Sanchez; numerous grandchildren.
