Mrs. Marie A. Lee, age 85 went to be with the Lord on August 13, 2010. She was born on June 26, 1925 in Seguin, Texas. Mrs. Lee is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Fred A. Lee, Jr; her children: Fred III and his wife Sherie, Barbara and her husband Tony, Rose Marie, and James and his wife Marta; numerous grandchildren; great and great-great-grandchildren. Mommy, we love and honor you, and bless you in the name of the Lord.
Visitation for friends and family will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 17th in the Angelus Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 18th at 12:00 Noon in the Angelus Chapel. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
LUNA
Trinidad Z. Luna, born on September 28, 1919, went to be with the Lord on March 24, 2004. Mrs. Trini Luna was a life long resident of the Kenwood Community and she was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. As a young girl she worked in the first family owned neighborhood grocery store “Ramirez Grocery,” at the age of 8. This began her career in retail sales, which ended in her retirement with 33 years from Piggly Wiggly Grocery Chain stores. She worked actively in the community initially with the Kenwood Neighbor Council where she was one of the original founders and Treasurer until 2000. She was also a member of the Metro Alliance, COPS, various church organizations and volunteered for many school functions. Mrs. Luna was a dedicated parent who offered her unconditional love to all who seeked her advice and council. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sebastian Luna Sr. and a son, Robert Luna. She is survived by sons: Tony (Connie) and David (Esther) Luna and a daughter, Elvia Luna; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and her brothers: Alfredo (Pauline) and Frank (Juanita) Saldivar and sister, Maria Louisa (Ramiro) Bernal; numerous nieces and nephews.
Rosary will be recited Friday evening at 7:00 P.M. at the Angelus Chapel. Funeral mass will be offered Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Jose Burial Park.

Pablo N. Lopez age 82 of San Antonio died June 13, 2003. He is survived by his children, Paul G. Lopez, Mary Dolores Lopez, Ernest G. Lopez , and Mary Jane McKnight; sister, Florencia Charles; brother, Blas Lopez; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Ms. Lucy Lopez age 74 of San Antonio died March 28, 2004. She is survived by her sons, Johnny and Sylvia Morris, Frank Serda, Jr., David and Abby Serda, Alvin and Alicia Morris, and Edgar Morris; sisters, Eva and Joe Fernandez, and Sandy and Ben Garcia; brother, Milton and Nena Lopez; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. LOZANO
Mr. Manuel Lozano, age 82, of San Antonio died April 7, 2003. He was preceded in death by his wife, Esperanza Lozano. Mr. Lozano is survived by his children, Manuel X. Lozano (Janet), Ismael D. Lozano (Shirley), Joel R. Lozano (Kelly), and Pan Dolan (Chris); sisters, Praxedis Giddens and Julia Moreno (Genaro); brother, Paco Lozano (Alice); grandchildren, Christy Adams (Brandy), Chad Dolan, Chase Dolan, and Chelsea Dolan; and great grandchild, Madison Adams. Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, April 9, at 7:00 PM at the Angelus Chapel. Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, April 10, at 10:00 AM at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. LOZANO
Miss Mary Gloria Elizabeth Lozano age 72 of San Antonio went home to be with our Lord on Thursday, January 13, 2005. Miss Lozano was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lozano; sister, Olga Lozano; brother, Lionel Eugene Lozano and she is survived by her sisters, Sylvia Reyna (Raymond), Yolanda Rivera (Ruben), Marina Camacho (Juan Sergio), Ms. Olga Perez, Ms. Margarita Landa, Linda Gonzales (Robert); brothers, Fred Armando Lozano (Reina), John Albert Lozano, Homer Lozano; aunt and godmother Micaela Tobar; aunt, Beatrice Cantu; numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins. She was a beautiful daughter, sister and aunt; she is gone however not forgotten. Special thanks to Mrs. Rosie Perez, her genuine caregiver. Also thanks to the chaplain, priest and Dr. Dang of Christus Santa Rosa, they were extremely kind to her during her last moments.

MAGEE
Kenneth Jay Magee born on July 20, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio, residing in San Antonio passed away on August 15, 2010 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Lupe Flores Magee and his brother Dennis Magee (Sara). Mr. Magee served 30 years in the U. S. Army and retired as Lieutenant Colonel. During his military career he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and History and a Masters degree in History.
Upon retiring from the Army Mr. Magee began his second career as an adjunct History professor for the Alamo Community College (St. Phillip and Palo Alto) and Southwest Texas Junior College. Mr. Magee’s passion for history and teaching, lead to his membership in various organizations, such as, New Braunfels Civil War Roundtable, San Antonio Civil War Roundtable, Society for the Preservation of Fort Sam Houston, docent for both the University of Texas Institute of Texan Cultures and the Fort Sam Houston Museum and VFW Post 76 Sam Houston.
Mr. Magee continues to live through his sons-Michael (Charlene), Eric (Maxine) and Ryan (Brandy) and his daughter Lora and his grandchildren-Meredith, Mitchell and Gavin.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 19, from 2:00 PM to 7:30 PM at The Angelus Funeral Home, 1119 North St Mary’s Street. Short prayers will be offered on Friday, August 20, at 10:15 AM followed by a departure at 10:45 AM from the funeral home for graveside services with full military honors at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
MARTINEZ
Mrs. Dora M. Martinez age 81 of San Antonio died on Friday, June 20, 2003. She was a loving and giving mother, wife and daughter. True to her profession she taught by example. She was a special person who touched the lives of all she met. Devout and spiritual, she was a life long and very active member of Sacred Heart Parish. She will be missed by all. Mrs. Martinez is survived by her daughters, Leticia M. Castillo and husband Antonio, Norma M. Martinez; brother, Jose R. Medina; nephew who was considered like a son, Eleliterio De Leon; grandchildren, Byron Castillo, Kenneth Castillo, Keith Castillo; great-grandchildren, Courtney Castillo, and Jeremy Castillo. Mr. Charles "Chuck" McPherson age 63 of San Antonio died Saturday, October 4, 2003. Mr. McPherson is survived by his wife, Stella McPherson; children: Alan Velasquez, Mark Velasquez and wife Angie, Cindy Overkleeft and husband Henry, Kim Shaffer and husband Rob, Stephanie Weirch and husband Greg; mother, Dorothy C. McPherson; sister, Judy Johnson; brother, Fred McPherson; 10 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Rosary will be recited Monday evening at 7:00 P.M. at the Angelus Chapel. MEZA
Roger G. Meza age 66 of San Antonio died on Sunday, August 3, 2003. Mr. Meza is survived by his children, Christina Rhodes, Elizabeth Wilson, Sarah Jervis, Christopher Meza, Rebecca Meza; sisters, Dora Medina, Janie G. Ortiz; brothers, Joe T. Meza, Henry G. Ortiz, Robert G. Meza; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family members. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 4, 2003 at 7:00 P.M at the Angelus Chapel. Interment will follow at a later date in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
MONACO
Mrs. Carolina Pantusa Monaco, age 85 of San Antonio died Friday, December 12, 2003. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Monaco Sr. and her son, John Monaco Jr. She was a member of San Francesco Di Paola Altar and Rosary Society and the Christopher Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Monaco is survived by her children: Mary Ann Bekken and husband Greg, Carl Monaco and wife Patsy; daughter-in-law, Sherri Monaco; sister, Florence Rizzo; brothers: Louis Pantusa and Pete Pantusa; grandchildren: Paul Wright, Jay Monaco and Colin Monaco; great-grandchildren: Garrett and Jules Wright; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

MUCKLE
On Sunday, September 28, 2003, Julia Pumphrey Muckle died peacefully with family at her side at St. Francis Nursing Home, where she had received loving care and attention. She was born in Glen Burnie, Maryland on April 6, 1906. Her childhood was spent in this area, which had been settled by her ancestors, the Pumphrey family, in 1678. As she reached adulthood she began her travels starting in Newport News, Virginia, where she met her beloved husband, Arthur Muckle. They married on April 28, 1928 and soon moved to Rhode Island, then to New York. In 1940 they moved to the Panama Canal Zone where they stayed at France Field until December 1949. Through this period they provided friendship and comfort to the troops during WWII and the post war period. Julia Muckle was active in the USO, the base chapel, and supported her husband's involvement in the Knights of Columbus. In December 1949 the family moved back to the U.S. and selected San Antonio, Texas as their new home. Vacation travels took them to Hawaii, Canada, Mexico and the 48 contiguous states. As an active member of St. Ann's Church, Julia Muckle was involved in the PTA, the Altar Society, and the St. Vincent de Paul Society. The death of her beloved husband, Arthur, on June 2, 1989, was the most difficult milestone in her long life, but she found the strength to continue on as the warm and caring great lady she had always been. Julia is survived by her children, 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and innumerable friends. Her children: Ruth Muckle Reilly of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Richard Muckle and his wife Sally of Tehachapi, California; Doris Muckle Metzger of San Antonio, Texas; and Mary Muckle Schuetze and her huband Irving of San Antonio, feel blessed by their mother's love, guidance, and nurturing throughout their lives. She will be missed dearly and celebrated joyfully for all she has been and will continue to be as her spirit lives on. A Rosary will be recited Thursday, October 2, at 7:00 P.M. at the Angelus Chapel. Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, October 3, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Ann's Catholic Church. MUNOZ
Anna Maria Munoz passed away on September 1, 2010 in San Antonio at the age of 79. She was born on September 27, 1930 in San Antonio Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest C. Munoz and her parents Andres Castro and Soledad Castro, brother Alejandro Castro and sister Rosie Castro-Glaze. She is survived by her brothers Andres, Marcelo, Ricardo and sisters Micaela Soto, Janie Mendoza, Amparo Shoop, and Consuelo Yanez; daughters Maria Garcia, Sarah Guerrero (David), Geri Miller, Jacqueline P. Tavera (Alfred), Annette Jimenez (Ezequiel) and Sons Ernest Munoz Jr. (Olga), Michael A. Munoz (Paula), and 14 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren.
After losing her one true love in the Vietname War, Anna raised their seven children alone; she never remarried and remained a widow for 41 years.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, September 5th beginning at 4:00 p.m., at the Angelus Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, September 6th at 9:15 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 4201 De Zavala Road. The burial will be held immediately following at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
PEREZ
LCpl. Stephen Joseph Perez age 22 of San Antonio died April 13, 2006 doing what he wanted to do, serve his country in Iraq. He was a 2002 graduate of St. Anthony Catholic High School and attended St. Mary’s University. LCpl Perez enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. in 2003. He was a member of the Regimental Combat Team 5, 1st Battalion, 1st Marines, B Company with service in Al Karma, Iraq. LCpl Perez received several medals while serving in the United States Marine Corps and these include the Purple Heart, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, and the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, 2nd Award. Stephen was fun loving, kind hearted, and he greatly impacted the lives of every one who knew him. His laughter could be heard miles away. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Estella Pena and his paternal grandmother, Margarita Perez. LCpl Perez is survived by his mother, Diana Perez; father, Conrado Perez, Jr., brother, Kenneth Perez and wife, Misty; nephew, Nikolas Perez; maternal grandfather, Antonio Pena; paternal grandfather, Conrado Perez, Sr.; aunts, Annette Gremmer and husband, Jay, and Jeanette Lynch and husband, Lex; cousins, Cassie, Brandon, A.J. and Jayson; girlfriend, Vanessa York; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will begin Friday, April 21, at 5:00 PM with the Rosary to be recited at 7:30 PM at St. Anthony’s Catholic High School Chapel. Funeral Mass will be offered Saturday, April 22, at 9:00 AM at St. Anthony’s Catholic High School Chapel. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with full military honors.

Reinhold Herman Pircher, MSG Retired, born March 2, 1917 a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle went to be with the Lord on September 4, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Alma Pircher, wife Marcella, brothers Albert and Louis, and sister Emma. He is survived by sons: Michael and Robert and wife Janet; grandsons: Robert Jr. and wife Brooke, Mark and wife Angela, Cody and fiancée Barbara, Christopher and Ryan; great-grandchildren: Aiden, Blaine, Bryce, Keeley and Ainsley; brother, Raymond and wife Ruby; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Jose Font, the staff at Floresville Nursing Center and VITAS Innovative Hospice Care for their care and attentiveness.
