Mrs. Weber
Barbara Foote Weber, 78 of Turnersville, died Dec. 13, 2005 at a Waco hospital. Funeral services were held Dec. 16 at the Gatesville Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Don Grogan officiating. Burial will follow at the Turnersville Cemetery.
Mrs. Weber was born on June 18, 1927 on the Foote Ranch in Turnersville, the daughter of Elizabeth Taylor and Adrian Foote.
She grew up in Turnersville and graduated from Turnersville High School. She graduated from North Texas State Teachers College with a Bachelors degree in Education. She taught in the Ft. Worth School Public School System for several years and resided in the Dallas/Ft. Worth and Houston areas before moving back to the Foote Ranch in 1980 where she enjoyed ranching. She was a Presbyterian.
Mrs. Weber was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Angela Weber in 1997 and by a sister, Adrian Foote.
Survivors include her husband, Gus Weber of Houston; sons, Gary Weber and wife Donna of Houston, Michael Weber of San Diego, and Greg Weber and wife Patty of Turnersville; five grandchildren, Josh, Jeffery, Meredith, Katy and Thomas and two great grandchildren, Raine and Reagan.

Mr. Aday
Aubry Ray Aday, 77, died Dec. 20, 2005 in a Temple Hospital. Graveside services were held Dec. 23 at Nix Cemetery in Lampasas County.
Mr. Aday was born September 16, 1928 at Rockwall, the son of Charles Wesley Aday and Bertha Troxell Aday, one of eleven children.
On April 4, 1954 at Dallas he was married to Shirley Ann Edwards. Mr. Aday retired from the City of Dallas water department with 32 years of service. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Ann Aday of Hamilton; four children, Debra Burridge of Hamilton, Billy Aday of Benton, Ark., Roger Aday of Dallas and Clifford Aday of Hamilton; 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and one sister Betty Sue Kimble of California.
He is preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and five brothers.

Mr. Knipstein
Edwin Knipstein, 84 of Stephenville, died Jan. 1, 2006 in a Stephenville hospital. Funeral services were held Jan. 3 at First Presbyterian Church in Stephenville with Rev. Sharon Bryant officiating. Burial was at West End Cemetery.
He was born July 15, 1921 in Hamilton, the son of Christ and Auguste Martin Knipstein.
He was married to Dorothy Augusta Tiemann on Jan. 4, 1947 in Priddy. She preceded him in death on July 13, 1997.
Mr., Knipstein was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Merchant Marines.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Stephenville and a past member of the Stephenville Masonic Lodge #267. He was a past district deputy of 67 District, 32 Degree KCCH of Ft. Worth Scottish Rite and was a past patron of the Stephenville Easter Star.
Mr. Knipstein worked for the City of Stephenville as a street foreman. After retirement, he went back to work for the city as the land field supervisor.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Garland and Debbie Knipstein of Stephenville; a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Royce Lesley of DeLeon; three grandchildren, Alan and wife Wendy Lesley of Blanket, Dr. Nathan and wife Dr. Amber Lesley of Bedford and Lance Knipstein of Stephenville; two great-grandchildren, Morgan and Aryn Lesley of Blanket and a special friend, Grace Bobbus of Stephenville as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Bubert
Herbert Ludve Bubert, 85, died in Temple at his sons home surrounded by his
family on December 29, 2005.
Funeral services were held Jan. 2, 2006 at St. Paul Lutheran Church at Shive with Pastor
B.I. Dahl officiating. Burial followed in the St. Paul Cemetery.
He was born March 4, 1920 at Shive, the son of Frank Henry Bubert and Rosina Sammann Bubert. He was a lifelong resident of Hamilton County.
On Jan. 1, 1944, he was married to Mildred Schulze at Shive. Mr. Bubert was a farmer, carpenter, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
He enjoyed old tractors and farm equipment, whether watching them in parades, on television, in magazines and books, or at antique tractor
shows. He particularly loved Farmall tractors and talking about them with his lifelong friends. He also loved roaming his farm with his faithful friend, Puppy Dog.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Annie Seilheimer and three brothers. Bill, Henry and R.H. Bubert.
Survivors include his wife of Hamilton; a son, Larry
Bubert and his wife Kay of Temple; a granddaughter Rebecca Wagner and her husband Wayne and one great granddaughter Catherine Wagner, all of Belton; two sisters, Elsie Seilheimer of Shive and
Josie Landua of Hamilton; a brother, Arthur Bubert of Shive, as well as several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Pallbearers were James Lancaster, Johnny Wagner Sr., Johnny Wagner Jr., Darryl Marwitz, Alvin Bubert and Calvin Friedrich.

Mr. Register
Floyd Lee Register, 72, died in Temple Dec. 28, 2005. Funeral services were held Jan. 2 in the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Craig officiating. Burial followed in Cottage Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Register was born July 11, 1933 in Hamilton County, the son of A.G. Register and Vernie Mae Landrum Register.
He was a professional cowboy, rodeo rider and horse trainer. He was sought by many rodeo cowboys and stockman to train horses for them. During his career he trained horses for and worked with some of the top hands in the nation.
He was a veteran, serving in the Army during the Korean War. He was a loving father and grandfather and was about to be a great-grandfather.
Survivors include his two children, Madeline Holland and Glen L. Register, both of Hillsboro; five grandchildren, William Christopher Holland, Marlina Holland, Allen Holland, Scott Hennig and Savannah Register and a brother, Charles Allen Register of Dallas.
Pallbearers were Sam Lewis, Bob Wilfong, Garland Haygood, Claud Reid, Donald Parrish and John Parrish. Honorary Pallbearers were Glen Love and Sheldon Perkins.

Eva Warrene Koen, 92, died at Hamilton on Jan. 27, 2006. Funeral services were Jan. 29 at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Harold Horn and Brother Kenny Dalton officiating. Burial followed in I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
She was born April 11, 1913 in McClennan County, the oldest child of Elder Len and Mollie Wells Dalton. She was married Dr. Jack Koen on June 24, 1951. He preceded her in death in July 1970. She was a life-long member of the Primitive Baptist Church.
Mrs. Koen nurtured many children during her lifetime starting with her younger brothers and sisters. After her marriage she became part of the life of his son, Jack Workman Koen. She also lovingly raised Julia Grimm Thompson, Kathy Grimm Clark, Charlotte Thompson Weller and Aaron Thompson.
Mrs. Koen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sisters, Evelyn, Ruth, and Dot Dalton and brothers Len Wells, Murl, Gilbert, and Gerald Dalton and son, Jack W. Koen.
Survivors include her sister, Mollie Dalton; her brother, Joe Dalton and wife Wanda; and sisters-in-law Nancy Dalton, Velma Dalton, and Claudia Dalton; her children, Julia Thompson, Kathy Clark, Charlotte Weller and Aaron Thompson.
Pallbearers were Tom Dalton, Steve Weller, Sonny Thompson, Aaron Thompson, Doug Clark, Gerry Dalton, Claud Brock, Andy Clark and Jasbir Ahulwalia.
Honorary Pallbearers were Robert McAdams, A.G. Kincheloe, Bert Schrank, Milton Harlick, Benny Walker, Orville McPherson, Melvin Henkes and Hank Gloff.

Mrs. Coston
Opal Coston, 99, of Temple died Jan. 29, 2006 in a Temple assisted living facility after a brief illness. Funeral services were held Feb. 1 at Scanio Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Bellomy and Rev. Chris Mesa officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Valley Cemetery.
Mrs. Coston was born in Hamilton County the daughter of Hugh Sumerford and Minnie Presley Summerford. She attended school at Live Oak where she graduated in 1923.
She was married to J.B. Coston on Dec. 7, 1924 in Hamilton County. They moved from Scurry County to Little River Academy in 1939.
Mrs. Coston was a homemaker and a member of the Little River United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women’s organization.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers and a sister.
Survivors include a daughter, Dixie Frazier of Temple; a son, Hugh Coston of Lake Belton; a sister, Louvetta Anglin of Sweetwater; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

Bessie Irene Sides died at Hamilton Jan. 29, 2006. Funeral services were held Jan. 31, in the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Matthew Butter officiating. Burial followed in the Pottsville Cemetery.
She was born at Georgetown on August 18, 1911, the daughter of Monroe Davis Boatright and Hattie Ann Williams.
She was a homemaker. She did work outside the home occasionally, but her first thought and dedication was to her home and family.
Mrs. Sides was ill for years but enjoyed activities: reading, pattern making, embroidering, sewing, crocheting, knitting, wall papering, piecing quilt tops, quilting, tacking quilts, cooking and creating recipes, canning, bread making, writing letters, keeping lists of birthdays and anniversaries, writing in her journal, fishing, camping, swimming, nursing, playing the pump organ, singing, church services, listening to the radio, reading to children, puzzles, games and television. She always liked to be busy, and she loved to visit and be visited.
She was a Christian from early in her life. She was a member of Littleville Baptist Church at the time of demise. Her dependence upon God was her solid foundation and joy. In her last weeks of life, she would sing hymns when her pain became too great. She looked to heaven and sang His praises until she went to sleep.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Bailey Sides, in 1980; a son-in-law, Otto Ray West; three brothers, Austin Davis, Herbert Isaiah, and Vernon Tully.
Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Ladois West and Christelle and Allan Gilbert; seven grand-children and their spouses, Ilene West, David and Jennifer West, Becky and Gary Welch, Sherry and Doug Clark, Joan and Waymon Stroud, Gary and Debi Gilbert, and Vince and Kristy Gilbert; 26 great-grandchildren and spouses; 14 great-great grandchildren; a sister-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Pallbearers were Matthew Clark, Quentin Clark, Wendell Clark, David Gilbert, Christopher Gilbert, David West, Larry Weaver, Brandon Sutter.

Mr. Davis
James Robert Davis, 79, died March 11, 2006, in Big Spring.
Graveside services were held March 15 in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville.
Mr. Davis lived in and around Grapevine most of his life, where he worked and raised his family. He worked for Mesco Buildings in Grapevine and also owned several businesses out of his home in Grapevine. When he retired, he was working for Aviall in Dallas.
Mr. Davis was one of the first volunteer deputies for the City of Southlake Police Department in the mid 60s. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Breckenridge. He served in the Navy during World War II.
He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Ruby Davis; five brothers and sisters; and one great-grandchild.
Survivors include his son, Jimmy Davis and wife, Barbara of Hamilton; son, Jerry Davis; daughter, Cindy Rhodes and husband, Rusty; grandchildren, Jamey, Jill, Leslie, Taylor, Michelle, Jo'Dee Lynn, Jennifer, Chris; great-grandchildren, Clayton and Braden Davis; wife, Peggy Davis of Breckenridge; sister, Shirley Durward; brothers, Don, Jeff, and Leroy Davis; sister, Coy Dieck.

Alma Wise (Peggy) Robuck, 78, of Jonesboro, died March 16 at a McGregor Nursing Center. Funeral services were held March 18 at Scott’s Funeral Home in Gatesville. Burial was at Jonesboro Cemetery.
Mrs. Robuck was born March 6, 1928 in Port Arthur, the daughter of the late Kearney M. Wise and Mary Alma Cox Wise. She moved to the Purmela area with her family at an early age. She attended school at Purmela and moved to Jonesboro where she graduated from high school.
She was married to Howard L. Robuck on Dec. 22, 1945 in Hamilton. She was a member of Jonesboro United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Robuck retired from the First National Bank in Grapevine after 28 years of service. She started as check filer, bookkeeper and head cashier and eventually became vice-president and loan officer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Gilbert, Welch and W.T. (Dub) Wise and a sister, Mary W. Manning.
Survivors include her husband, Howard L. Robuck, daughter, Donna R. Morden and husband Larry of Jonesboro; a grandson, Jason Morden and wife Shelly of Glen Rose, three great-grandchildren, Brandon, Cody and Cole as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
