Diane Marie Street, 53, of Chattanooga, Tenn., formerly of Princeton, W.Va., passed away on Friday, Sept. 3, 2004 in her Chattanooga home.
Survivors include her daughter, Shannon Starkweather and husband, Henry; three grandchildren, Chastity, Josh and Stacy Hernandez, all of Seadrift; a brother, David Pettrey and a sister, Sharon Pettrey, both of Chattanooga.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2004 in the funeral home chapel.

Velma Joy Eaton, 75, died Friday, Oct. 1, 2004.

FELIZITY ANITA-MARIE HEYSQUIERDO
Felizity Anita-Marie Heysquierdo, infant daughter of Anna Salians Ramirez of Telferner and the late Danny L. Heysquierdo, died on Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2004.
She was born Nov. 5, 2004 in Corpus Christi.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by three brothers, Jonathon Ruben Ramirez, Joshua Ruben Ramirez and Joseph Ruben Ramirez, all of Telferner and grandparents Johnny and Felicita Salians of Victoria, Rosalio and Sylvia Lopez Heysquierdo of Port Lavaca and Daniel Heysquierdo of Kyle.
Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Loma Alta Cemetery in Kenedy with the Rev. Mauricio Lopez officiating.

MARIE FRANK
Marie Frank, 83, of Point Comfort, died on Monday, Nov. 29, 2004.
She was born Sept. 23, 1921 in East St. Louis, Ill., the daughter of the late Fred Reese and Ethel Smith Reese. She was married to the late Kenneth Martin Frank. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters Dorothy and Vivian and brother Joe.
She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Marie Netter of Houston, three grandchildren, Latricia Frank, Natasha Fox and Ryan Fox; and five great-grandchildren, Jacquelyn Watkins, Jocelyn Watkins, Devanie Armstrong, Zacharias Fox and Nicole McBride.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at Rosewood Funeral Chapels located at 3304 Mockingbird Lane in Victoria. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Olivia Community Cemetery.

LUCYLE "BABY" PEOPLES MYERS
Lucyle "Baby" Peoples Myers, 68, of Port Lavaca, died on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004.
She was born April 3, 1935 in Cameron, the daughter of the late Bathelonia Peoples and Pearl Smith Gordon Peoples. She was married to the late Rufus G. Myers. She was a retired nurse and a member of the Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bethelonia "Bathe" Peoples.
She is survived by three daughters, Brenda Myers and Linda Myers of Port Lavaca and Carol Myers Barefield of Houston; a son, Rufus Myers Jr. of Austin; a sister, Loraine Ladet of Houston, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at Barefield Funeral Home in Victoria. There will be a wake from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Port Lavaca. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Mr. Sinai Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Port Lavaca Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mose Clay, Lawrence William, Nathan Rogers, Marcus Myers, Matthew Myers, Charles Myers and Roddrick Thomas. Honorary pallbearers are Percy Ladet, Stanley Palmer, Craig Ladet, Ricky Young, Harvey Smith and Craig Smith.

BALDEMAR "B.G." GARZA SR.
Baldemar "B.G." Garza Sr., 64, of Seadrift, died on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2003.
He was born Oct. 21, 1938 in Placedo, the son of the late Daniel Garza and Candida Olivares Garza. He retired from Alcoa with 30 years tenure. He was a member of the Alcoa 25-Year Club. He was a member of the Catholic Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Daniel Garza, Antonio Garza and Lorenzo Garza.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Luna Raby Garza of Seadrift; a daughter and son-in-law, Esther Garcia and husband Rudy of Port Lavaca; sons and daughters-in-law Oscar Garza and wife Angie of Port Lavaca, Carlos Garza and wife Dana of Buda and Baldemar "B.G." Garza Jr. and wife Sally of Port Lavaca; step-sons, Staff Sgt. Eric Raby of San Antonio, Lupe DeLeon of Bloomington and Manuel Luna of Taylor; sisters, Irene Valdez of Bloomington, Delia Salazar of Manvel, Ofelia Ragusin of Port Lavaca, Maria Rial of Jacksonville, Ark., Marcela Ramirez of Port Lavaca and Janie Moreno of Hillje; brothers, Toribio Garza of Jacinto City and Felix Paz of McNahans; and nine grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be recited at 2 p.m. Friday at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jeremiah Garcia, Eric Garza, Danny Garza, Nicholas Garcia, Lupe DeLeon, Manuel Luna and Staff Sgt. Eric Raby. Honorary pallbearers are Antonio Garza, Buster Riley, Joe Olivares, Martin Almendaez Jr., Martin Sowa and Juan Salazar.

EILEEN HILL VANDAL
Eileen Hill Vandal, 67, Canyon Lake, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2003 in San Antonio.
She was born on Sept. 30, 1936 in Victoria, the daughter of the late Edward and Helen Janecek Hill.
She married Richard Vandal on Feb. 8, 1973 in Seguin. They later renewed their wedding vows in the Catholic Church with Monsignor Anthony Drozd. Mrs. Vandal was a retired school teacher having taught in the Comal Independent School District at Mountain Valley Middle School and Smithson Valley Middle School.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Vandal of Canyon Lake; a daughter, Robin Anderson and her husband Stephan of Austin; and two brothers, Pete Hill of Goliad and Allan Hill of Port Lavaca.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday, Dec. 1, at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home at Canyon Lake with interment at Fischer Cemetery.

MARIA "MOMO" CUELLAR REYES
Maria "Momo" Cuellar Reyes, 103, of Port Lavaca, died on Monday, Sept. 6, 2004.
She was born Nov. 30, 1900 in Linares, N.L., Mexico, the daughter of the late Juan Cuellar and Juanita Garcia Cuellar. She was a retired employee of Clegg Shrimp Company where she was a packer. She was a member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church.
She was married to the late Carlos Mendoza and F. A. Reyes.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a son, Timoteo Mendoza and three brothers, Quirino Cuellar Sr., Loreno Cuellar and Jesus Cuellar.
She is survived by four daughters, Luteria Lara, Janie Mendoza and Val Torres, all of Port Lavaca and Annie Mungia of Corpus Christi; a brother, Eusebio Mendoza; 20 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, 39 great-great-grandchildren and an abundance of friends.
Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7 at Richardson/Colonial Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. A funeral Mass will be recited at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8 at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Port Lavaca Cemetery.

MALLARD CAULEY
Memorial services for Mallard Copeland Cauley, 70, Jacksonville, were Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2004, at Cove Springs Community Church, with Bro. Don Harvey officiating.
Cauley passed away Sept. 25, 2004, at his home.
Cauley was born Nov. 16, 1933 in 0pp, Ala, to the late Herbert Thomas Cauley and Billie Faye Coon Cauley. He lived in Jacksonville for 26 years moving from Port O'Connor.
He was career military serving in the U.S. Navy and Air Force for 27 years. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, the Vietnam Conflict and participated in the bomb testing at Enewetok. He was awarded four meritorious medals, a bronze star and numerous medals, ribbons and awards. Cauley was a member of the Baptist Church. He was a member of Masonic Lodge # 1098 of Seadrift.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Billie Faye Cauley and stepfather, John Patterson.
Survivors include his wife, Esther Lee Scott Cauley, formerly of Port O'Connor and now of Jacksonville; two sons, Mitchell Cauley and Michael Cauley, both of Jacksonville; daughter, Charlotte Powell, Jacksonville; sister, Tommie Ann Hurst, Apopka, FL; five grandchildren, Kristopher Cauley, Alex Powell, Hunter Cauley, Kimberly Cauley and Katie Collins.

GUMECINDO "GUS" DELGADO
Gumecindo "Gus" Delgado, 84, of Port Lavaca, died on Monday, Nov. 15, 2004.
He was born Jan. 13, 1920 in Rosales, Coah, Mexico, to the late Eligio Delgado and Julia Montejano Delgado. He retired as a potman in the refinery of Alcoa. He was a member of the Alcoa 25-Year-Club. He was a member of the Catholic Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Gumecindo Delgado Jr.; a brother, Pasqual "Pat" Delgado; and two grandsons, Joseph Dominic Lerma and Frank Edward Pena.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lopez Delgado of Port Lavaca; four daughters, Dorothy Lopez of Deluth, Minn., Andrea "Annie" Lerma of Port Lavaca, Rose Mary Smalley of Porter and Patsy Gonzales of Victoria; two sons, John Patrick Delgado of Rapid City, SD and Robert Stacy Delgado of Garland; a sister, Julia Delgado Salazar of Telferner; seven brothers, Charles Delgado Sr. of Port Lavaca, Alfonso Delgado of Port Lavaca, Steve Delgado Sr. of Port Lavaca, Eligio Delgado of Port Lavaca, Stanley Delgado of Port Lavaca, Joe Delgado of Port Lavaca and John Delgado of Dallas; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Thursday at Artero Memorial Chapels. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday. A funeral Mass will be recited at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church.
ANGIE SVATEK BOONE
Angie Svatek Boone, 61, of Rockport and formerly of Victoria, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 30.
Mrs. Boone was born May 27, 1942, in Shiner to Joe Henry Svatek and Angeline E. Riha Svatek. She was married to Henry Boone. She was co-owner and founder of Texas Vocational School and a member of KJZT.
Mrs. Boone was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Ben Svatek and son Henry Burton Svatek.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sisters, Helen Mizera, of Mont, Lonnie Kelner, of East Bernard and Patsy Haragus, of Port O'Connor; two brothers, Joe Svatek of Tuscaloosa, AL and Pat Svatek, of Delvalle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2 at Colonial Funeral Home, Victoria. Services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3 at Our Lady of Victory Cathedral, Victoria. Burial will be at SPJST Cemetery in Shiner.
