Edna Dickinson
Edna Dickinson, 93, of Borger passed away Monday, December 8, 2008, at Ware Living
Center in Amarillo TX.
She was born on August, 30, 1915, in, Wills Point TX, to Virgel and Jaymima Street.
She married Edward Lamar Dickinson on January 30, 1941 in Borger TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Edward Dickinson.
Survivors include her daughter Sue Allred of Borger TX; one son John and wife Kandy
Dickinson of NM; one sister Rudell Her of Gary IN; five grandchildren and six great
grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 11, 2008 at Browns Chapel Of The
Fountains.
Officiating Rev. Leonard Forsythe Bible Baptist Church.
She will lie in state at Brown Funeral Directors until service.
Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery.
Robert C. "Bob" Watkins
Robert C. Watkins (Bob), 82 of Borger, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at Borger
Healthcare Center.
Bob was born Friday, March 19, 1926 in Atlanta Georgia to Robert & Eleanor (Reamey)
Watkins.
Bob graduated from St. Petersburg High School in 1943 and was accepted as a
Naval cadet and attended pre-flight school at the University of Miami.
He completed flight training at Pensacola, Florida and received an honorable discharge in February 1960.
Bob attended and graduated from the University of Florida College of Chemical
Engineering in 1953 and went to work for Phillips 66 Company.
He met and married Aleyene Butrum on September 14, 1957 in Bartlesville.
They were then transferred to the Borger Plant in 1959 where they made their home.
Bob continued working for Phillips until his retirement after 33 years in 1986.
Bob was active in the Borger community as a
Clerk of Session of the First Presbyterian church 32 years, a Boy Scout leader for Troop 7
in Borger for 10 years and an officer of Borger 66 Federal Credit Union.
In retirement he was an AARP tax consultant for a number of years.
Bob had many interests in sports. He was an avid bowler and loved playing golf and
softball. His greatest pleasure was reading and classical music.
Bob was preceded in death by his father in 1983, his mother in 1999 and a brother, Irvine
Watkins in 1990.
He is survived by his wife, Aleyene of the home, two sons; David Watkins of Watauga, TX,
James Watkins & wife Patty of Baton Rouge, LA; three grandchildren, Whitney, Raigan &
Ryan Watkins all of Baton Rouge, LA.
Memorial Services will be 11:00 AM, Friday January 30, 2009 at the First Presbyterian
Church with Georgia King officiating and C.W. Parker assisting.

Marjorie Jean Hanna
Marjorie was born on March 25, 1922 in Las Vegas, New Mexico.
She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sid Dennis.
Mrs. Hanna had an identical twin sister, three other sisters and two brothers.
She married E.B “Tex” Hanna on July 6, 1941 and they had three boys – Bryan, George and Randy.
Mrs. Hanna owned and ran a private kindergarten and daycare center in Borger for about
thirty years.
During those years she touched and influenced many lives, both young and
old, while living and working in Borger.
Mrs. Hanna passed on January 30, 2009 at the Ware Center in Amarillo, Texas. She was
preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, two brothers, her husband, Tex and her son
Randy. Survivors include her sister, Linda Morrow, of Capulin, New Mexico, her son
Bryan and his wife Kandy of White Deer, her son George and his wife Rossetta of Borger,
eight grand children Casey, Chris, David, Angela, Brandon, Dane, Wes and Jessica eleven
great grand children.
Services will be held at11:00 AM Tuesday February 3, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in
Borger.
Burial will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday February 3, 2009 at Highland Park Cemetery.
Officiant will be Andy Dietz with First Baptist Church.
Casket Bearers Will Be Her Grand Children.

Raymond Jinkins
Raymond Jinkins, 86, of Amarillo passed away Friday, February 20, 2009, at BSA in Amarillo.
He was born on March 21, 1922, in Leonard, Tx. to Sidney and Margaret Ellen (Johnson)
Jinkins.
He married his 1st wife Wanda Jinkins in 1941.
He married his 2nd wife Wanda Hollis on April 1, 2000 in Borger, Tx.
Mr. Jinkins retired from Phillips Pet. Co. as a Lab tech after 40yrs.
He was a veteran of WWll serving in the Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his 1st Wife Wanda Jinkins in 1988, a son James Ray Jinkins
in 2002, a grandson Douglas in 1997, his parents, several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife of the home, one son Tim Jinkins and wife Judy of Lubbock,
Tx., one daughter-in-law Joan Jinkins of West Palm Beach, Fl, one step-son Richard Hollis
of Amarillo, Tx., one step-daughter Tina Nash and husband Darrell of Borger, Tx. ,Six
grandchildren; Curtis Jinkins & wife Toni of Austin, Tx., Cody Jinkins of San Marcus,
Tx., Stewart Jinkins & wife Nicole of West Palm Beach, FL., Presley Nash and Breck Nash
of Borger, Tx. and Dierdra Nash of Yukon, Ok., one great granddaughter Grace Monet
Jinkins.
Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Curtis Jinkins, Cody Jinkins, Stewart Jinkins and
Breck Nash.
Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at Browns Chapel Of The Fountains
in Borger with Rev. Robert Hensely, Pastor of Bunavista Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Cemetery.
Family visitation will be Monday February 23, 2009 at Browns Chapel Of The Fountains
from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
Billy W. "Bill" McDonald, 75
Died: Friday, April 15, 2011, in Abilene, Texas
Billy W. "Bill" McDonald, 75, died on Friday, April 15, 2011, after a battle with cancer.
Born in Coleman County, Texas on June 20, 1935, Bill was the son of N.C. and Maxie (Williams) McDonald. He attended school at Loss Creek and Mozelle, and married
Joyce Mills on November 17, 1956 in Santa Anna, Texas.
Bill owned a service station and worked in the oil field in Coleman before moving in 1966 to Midland, Texas, where he worked for The Permian Corporation. In 1967 he moved to Abilene, where he retired as a pipeline gauger from Ashland, Inc. (formerly The Permian Corporation) after 32 years in 1998.
Bill enjoyed spending time at the lake fishing, as well as spending time with his grandkids and children. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and a good Christian man. He was a member of View Baptist Church.
His parents; three brothers, Frank, Carl and Jacky; and two sisters, Ouida Philmon and Jean Davis, preceded Bill in death.
Bill is survived by his wife, Joyce McDonald of Abilene; five children, Glenda McMahan and husband Doug of Mansfield, Texas, Debbie Ford and husband Charles of Austin, Michael McDonald of Abilene, Terry McDonald and wife Glenda of Forsan, Texas; and Pamela Ulcak and husband Philip of Midland; and brother, Glen McDonald and wife Dorothy of Coleman. Survivors also include eight grandchildren and spouses, Christi Martin and Chad, Cassie Handlin and Jason, Shelby McDonald, Matthew Ulcak, Jansen McDonald, Kyle Ford, Austin Ulcak and Madison Ulcak, and four great grandchildren, Ashlyn Gary, Andrew Handlin, Blake Handlin and Alyssa Martin.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 18, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home Chapel, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, with Dale Morrison officiating. Interment will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Ulcak, Austin Ulcak, Jansen McDonald, Kyle Ford, Chad Martin and Jason Handlin.
